Abraham was justified by his faith. We are Abraham's promised spiritual children, thus, we are saved/justified by faith alone.

We are his spiritual children promised by God (from all nations).

Abraham was justified by FAITH, He believed in the Lord with all his heart. He was credited a as being righteous by God. He did not "do anything to be credited as righteous by God the "law' was not in effect at this time and he did not 'do' anything to make himself righteous. The Lord JUSTIFIED him.God loved Abraham, and knew that Abraham's loved was strong and faithful! God often spoke to Abraham but Abraham never saw God, yet his faith was so strong that God made him the father of all nations, and promised Abraham, all nations would be BLESSED by God through Abraham because of Abraham's strong faith!

Q2. (Galatians 3:6-9) What is Paul’s argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham? In what sense are we “children of Abraham”?

As Abraham believed by faith so we also believe by faith. It is not by any works on our part, it is solely the work of God.

As Abraham had natural children so he had spiritual children who are saved through faith in God alone. We are, in that sense, spiritual children of Abraham.

God Bless!

Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Belief in God, faith, makes us children of Abraham because God promised Abraham that through him all of the nation of the earth will be blessed.

What is Paul's argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham?

Abraham was justified by faith, according to Genesis 15:6; God promised Abraham that, "All nations will be blessed through you" (Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18); Galatians 3:7, 28-29, those who now have faith in Christ and of His faith are found just as Abraham was, justified and righteous through faith.

In what sense are we "children of Abraham"?

Paul says it best in verses 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Another strong by Paul passage can be found in Romans 4:16-17.

Basically ethnic background nor gender affords an individual privilege nor preferential access to God's deliverance or beneficiary providence. All can become beneficiaries of God's promises to Abraham if we have the faith of Abraham and belong to Jesus Christ.

Q2. (Galatians 3:6-9) What is Paul's argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham, and in what sense are we "children of Abraham"?

Abraham was a hero in the eyes of the Judaizers; they thought of him as THE LEGALIST, even claiming Abraham as exclusively their father, Paul demolished these claims by the Judaizers.

Paul was well studied in the Scriptures and was respected by the Judaizers, he could speak with authority, and he did, as he boldly reminded them - It was only because Abraham "TRUSTED IN GOD AND WAS FOUND FAITHFUL" that God credited it to his account as forensic righteousness, a true child of God, Paul did not stop there, Paul made it clear, no action which Abraham did apart from TRUST ever gave him any iota of righteousness credit, the same blessing truth is there for the Gentile believers, those who put their faith in Israel's Messiah, they who rely on TRUST AND ARE FOUND FAITHFUL as Abraham, that God will credit it to their account, as being of the seed of Abraham, salvation is there for all who believe in the God of Israel and in His Son Yeshua, Jesus - Paul made it clear, it is because of "FAITH AND TRUST" that they are saved and not because they became a Jew. :)

Q2(Galatians)

What is paul argument for Salvation?

Those who believe in God only (like abraham did ). They will be credited to them as righteousness.Because Abraham was Justified by faith according to( Genesis 15:6 ..Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.) Salvation came only by Faith, and Not with the observing the law. All that they believe in the Lord Jesus christ as their savior, they will be Justified. and get saved.

In what sense are we '' children of Abraham''?

Now, All who(JEWS& GENTILES) comes and believe in the Lord Jesus as their LORD & SAVIOR.they will be Abraham spirirtual's children, because they( like Abraham) believed the Lord, and accounted to them as righteousness. because God promised Abraham when he said ( All nations will be blessed through you Genesis 12:3).

Q2. (Galatians 3:6-9) What is Paul’s argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham?

Abraham was saved by believing God's promise and trusting Him... grace! He lived by faith! He was born before the law existed, so Paul is using Abraham to demonstrate salvation by faith. The law had a place for an allotted time, .....after Abraham, and before Jesus, the Messiah, but does not save us. Paul was saying that for 1,500 years the law was "school Master" to reveal sin, and then Jesus Christ came to deliver us from the power of sin and death!

In what sense are we “children of Abraham”?

When we are born again, we become "grafted in" to Abraham's line of believers saved by grace.

Q2. (Galatians 3:6-9)

What is Paul's argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham?

In what sense are we "children of Abraham"?

Paul shows that people in OT times were saved in the same way as the Galatians – both on the basis of faith. Abraham simply believed God, and that’s it. Believing God is all we can do when it comes to our salvation; in fact those who do not believe are fools (Psalm 14:1). Most probably the Judaizers were insisting that in order to be real sons of Abraham, the Galatians had to be circumcised. Paul however refutes this by stating that the real sons of Abraham are not necessary those born Jews, but those who are saved by faith - those who believe. Reminding them that Abraham was reckoned righteous before he was circumcised. In the same way as Abraham, we are made righteous by faith. We read in Genesis 12:3, ‘In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ All of us who exercise faith in Christ are justified and in this sense are children of Abraham.

(Galatians 3:6-9) What is Paul's argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham? Paul is explaining that since Abraham believed what God told him, he was justified by faith. His faith was accounted to him as righteousness.

In what sense are we "children of Abraham"? God told Abraham, "In thee all nations shall be blessed. Those who believe through faith in Jesus Christ are the seed of Abraham. Abraham believed God by faith, and those who do the same are "blessed with faithful Abraham."

Q2. (Galatians 3:6-9) What is Paul’s argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham? In what sense are we “children of Abraham”?

Abraham had faith that through the blood of Jesus, he was made right (righteous) before God. It wasn't by works, lineage or any tradition. It was by faith that he was counted righteous. We are spiritual children of Abraham when we like Abraham believe we are saved by grace and are made righteous through the blood of Jesus.

Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousnes. This means that righteousness is as a result of faith not works.

Galation 3.7 says that any one who has faith in God is a child of Abraham. God had promised Abraham that all nations would be blessed because of Abraham's faith.

Paul's argument for salvation by faith based on Abraham was that Abraham believe in God's promises. Real children of Abraham are those that have faith not those that keep the law. Abraham himself was saved by his faith.

God told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations and that all nations would be blessed through him. (Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18) Paul says that those who believe are children of Abraham. We are made right with God on the basis of our faith in Christ's death for our sins, not on the basis of fulfilling the law, or establishing our own righteousness (Philippians 3:9)
