There is nothing left to prove. It is all included in the statement below. If we would just memorize it, claim it, and act it.

"15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs -- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:15-17)

There is nothing left to prove. It is like kool aid; it is all here--just add water (belief).

The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are sons of God and joint-heirs with Christ.

It means father, daddy. We have the privilege of coming to God as our daddy.

Being joint-heirs with Christ means we can share in His sufferings and His glory.

No. Jesus was not created. We do have the same Spirit living in us, however and are joint-heirs with Him.

Q4-1 It is demonstrated by the spirit calling 'Abba, Father'.

Q4-2 The word was used in prayer and in the family circle.

Q4-3 The significance of being heirs to God is that we do not need to fear speaking to Him, we do not need to be formal. We call Him 'Abba' as a term of endearment. Like saying 'Daddy'.

Q4-4 We are sons in the same sense in that we can be comfortable talking to God. But I don't think of myself as an 'equal' to Christ.

How does the Spirit's filling demonstrate we are full sons?

As we live and move and have our being according to His leading will demonstrate that our align with His, that we are His sons. As we reflect Him. His will and not ours we demonstrate that we are His sons. The Spirit's filling is more than and greater than the thought some carry as baptism of the Spirit, full sons in order to demonstrate that they are full sons must have more speaking in tongues as their witness; a full son will not confuse Spirit-filling with sanctification, sanctification in a sense is processing as we live in and through Him; a full son will confuse Spirit-filling with the fullness of the Spirit; having said so within a full son the fullness of the Spirit needs to be evident.

The Spirit's filling demonstrates we are full sons as we adhere to it through living, not only at gathering with people of like beliefs, nor while on planned exploits. It is demonstrated as we worship and praise God with our life and our lives not just our lives if there are onlooker or if there isn't. Spirit-filling is the very power of God energizing the faculties of our inner man, it will be demonstrated as we live accordingly.

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one's father?

The special sense is that this word conveys the personal, the intimacy in a relationship. Being that adopted this word allows to move beyond the title father to daddy. In no way it is disrespectful, in my marital relationship my wife's title is wife, however when I call out to her when not calling her by name, I may say Honey, Sweetie, these words move beyond the title. the formal word of wife to express intimacy within the relation as does "Abba," we can do this as full sons! Hallelujah.

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

Being an heir the heir can come before Him without terror, the heir is to do so with reverence, yet not with consternation. The significance, the importance is that the heir once again has the freedom to be once again be in the presence of God. The righteousness of Christ affords them to not only be a recipient of His Grace, nor only an extension of His mercy, but the awesome privilege to reign with Him in eternity.

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God's Son?

We are more than servant, we are no more a servant / slave to sin. Jesus was His Begotten Son, we are adopted sons, even so through Him, Christ we have an inheritance afforded to us. We become family we are heirs / sons of GOD through Christ Jesus. We all the privileges of a son, as an heir through the Redeemer, and with Him. Another passage of Scripture says that we are joint heirs with Him.

In the limited understanding that I have and with a humble heart, I simply say THANK you Jesus for allowing me to be the son that I am, that I can be.

Q4. (Galatians 4:6-7) How does the Spirit’s filling demonstrate we are full sons?

He has filled us with Himself in the Person of the Holy Spirit...it doesn't get any more personal or more intimate than that! "Christ in me the hope of Glory!"

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one’s father?

Abba means Daddy, or Papa, an intimate term reserved for a son or daughter addressing a beloved Father!

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

Jesus tells us that all that belongs to Him is now ours as His joint heirs! That is the most amazing thing...how precious we are to Him!!!

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God’s Son?

Jesus is Creator God, and we are His created beings, now His joint heirs, with the same rights and privileges, but we are not Divine. He is our Lord, Savior and God whom we will worship and praise for all eternity. We are redeemed and restored to righteousness and wholeness in Him, but are not to ever seek to be "gods" or to be worshipped. (That was Lucifer's dream, and the dream of many cults who aspire to become gods)

If the Spirit is in us, we are adopted as full sons, with all rights of a son.

abba is an intimate word to speak to your father.

It's a privilege we can talk to God like that.

The significance is that we'll be with Him.

Well, we're juridically sons in the same sense.

But Jesus was God in the flesh, and we're not equal to Him in any other way.

The Spirit's filling demonstrates that we are full sons and daughters by testifying with our Spirit that we are God's children. Because we are sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. This Spirit calls out "Abba Father."

Abba is a term of endearment. A term that expresses intimacy with God. We are fully loved and we love Him in return.

The significance of being heirs of God is that we are drawn close to Him as actual sons and daughters. We are not afraid of God or of judgement. We are drawn to His love and care. He is our beloved Abba!

We are co-heirs with Christ. We are full sons and daughters of God. It is only THROUGH Christ we can attain this though. We share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory!

Q4. (Galatians 4:6-7) How does the Spirit's filling demonstrate we are full sons?

The Spirit's filling is demonstrated in how we live our lives; as full sons of God our lives will demonstrate our minds are set on the what the Spirit wants, we freely give the lead to the Spirit, as full sons of God our lives demonstrate we no longer allow the flesh to rule and lead the way.

If our lives continue to demonstrate our debt is to the old nature it would speak loud and clear, we are not sons of God, for Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD.

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one's father?

The special sense that we use the word "abba" comes from the heart, the cry of "abba" declares what the heart feels for what God's Son has done for us, for no longer are we looked upon as slaves, working hard in hopes that we MIGHT please the Master, for the Spirit is our witness that we willingly have chosen to be his "BONDSERVANT", freely disregarding our own interests of pleasing self, and in its stead have chosen to the do the will of the Father; just as the Son freely left his place of glory and in its stead came to do the will of the Father, we too as children of God cry "Abba" the intimacy of the heart to do his will.

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

Being heirs of God is also a legal standing.

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God's Son?

We are sons of God in the same sense that Jesus is - IF our hearts desire is to do the will of the Father, to follow after God's commandments, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the way.

The Spirit infilling demonstrates that we full sons because He (the Spirit) agrees with our spit to cry out "Abba Father" a term that indicates intimacy and familiarity and is used by true children who are not afraid to call the name given their high position.

The significance of being heirs of God is that we own by inheiratance whatever belongs to Him.

Jesus is the direct Son of God while we are sons by adoption but with full rights that is why we are joint heirs with Christ.

Q4. (Galatians 4:6-7)

How does the Spirit's filling demonstrate we are full sons?

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one's father?

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God's Son?

When we as sinners put our trust in Jesus, God sends His Spirit into our hearts. And the Spirit immediately begins to cry ‘Abba! Father!’, indicating that we are full sons. We can also read about this in the parallel passage in Romans 8:15-16, ‘the Spirit Himself bearing witness with our spirit, that we are children of God.’ ‘Abba’ is a term of endearment much like todays ‘Daddy’, and is the same word Jesus Himself used in intimate prayer to His Father. As Christians we have been purchased by Christ, indwelt by the Spirit, and adopted by The Father, and as sons and heirs we now wait for the return of Christ when we will be like Him (1 John 3:1-3), knowing that the best part of our inheritance is yet to come (1 Pet 1:4-5). Finally, we are full sons in the same sense that Jesus is God’s Son. The only difference is that He is the First Born and seated at the right hand of God.

The Spirit’s filling demonstrates that we are full sons because we are able to call him Dad instead of father. The special sense in which the Aramaic word “abba” is used to speak to one’s father is that we are his sons and that we are comfortable with Him as our loving father.

Being heirs of God means that we will be able to go to the His kingdom and be with him for eternity.

We are sons in the same sense that Jesus was God’s Son except He was the first Son so he inherits more than we do but that is OK I just want to be with the Father.

The indwelling Spirit is an indication of the closeness of our new relationship with God through Christ. He lives in us and prompts us to grow in Him. Abba is a term of endearment and indicates a close family relationship. Jesus is God and I am not! However, we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ thus claiming some of the same benefits that He has (like eternal life). What a blessing it is to think of Christ as my brother and to want to make Him proud of me!

With the Spirits filling we are different. We are new creatures which shows that we are God's sons. We behave different, we desire different things, not of the worldly but spiritual.

Abba was a sense of endearment.

If we are heirs we belong to the family of God.

Jesus is God I am adopted into His family. Thank you Jesus!

God Bless!

(Galatians 4:6-7) How does the Spirit's filling demonstrate we are full sons?

We demonstrate the Holy Spirit’s infilling by loving one another: “ Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34. To do this, we have demonstrated that we are dead to the flesh. God is love. When we are led and filled by God’s Spirit we walk in love and are known as His sons. Romans 8:14 states, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God”.

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abbais used to speak to one's father? It is a term used that is free from fear, or a conditional relationship, such as a slave has with his master. We have freedom to come boldly before His throne of grace. Therefore, abbais, gives us confidence in the Father.

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

We are confident, Godly assured, sons of God, and we are indeed joint-heirs with Christ. The significance is that, as we obtain favour, we also have responsibilities which will result in suffering. “We are children of God, and if children, then heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if INDEED WE SUFFER WITH HIM”

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God's Son? If we suffer with Him then yes! Indeed!

Galatians 4:6-7 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

How does the Spirit's filling demonstrate we are full sons?

Our assurance is that the Spirit is God’s Spirit, He who moved over the face of the waters on the first day of creation. Our assurance is built on being adopted as His sons. We do not come in a spirit of slavery, implying alienation, but one of deep intimacy, like children who lovingly call their father, ‘Daddy’

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one's father?

Abba, that is Dear Father is a familiar way of addressing one’s father. It is the equivalent of ‘Dad’ or ‘Daddy’

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

This adoption as God’s sons is only for those who are led by God’s Spirit, that is, only for those who have put their trust in Yahushua, because it is He who sends the Spirit (John 14:6) and those who do not yet have Yahushua do not have the Father either. (1st John 2:23) But in the case of believers, the Spirit of God Himself bears witness with our own spirit that we are children of God. The adoption process will become complete when we are redeemed and set free.

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God's Son?

No we are not God and we never will be. There is only one God. We are adopted into His family.

How does the Spirit’s filling demonstrate we are full sons?

“For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

“We have received the adoption of sons, and because you are sons God sent forth the spirit of His son into our hearts crying Abba Father.”

These verses tell us that we are full sons in every sense of the word. We have put on Christ, and in that sense we become what we “put on.” We have the very Spirit and life of His Son in us and if we be Christ’s, then we ARE Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. In the sight of God we are just as much an heir and full son as Christ is having become what we put on. The only basis for our acceptance before God as sons is that we come to God through Christ and in the light of Christ and his merits only. Hebrews tells us that we have not come unto the mount that might be touched (Sinai) and that burned with fire etc. but we are come unto mount Sion, unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,… to the general assembly and church of the firstborn… Heb. 12: 18-24

We are the true firstborn heirs of God. The allegory explained in chapter four shows that in Christ we are not the children of the bondwoman, born after the flesh, and to bondage. But we are the children of the free woman, born after the Spirit, the children of promise, and the children of liberty. We are not the children of the bondwoman but of the free.

Connecting this with the whole of scripture we see that we were born into Adam, the first man, the earthy man, the old man and born after the flesh and bondage. But in Christ we have “put off that old man” and “put on that new man”, created in Christ Jesus, the second man and last Adam, the heavenly man, the one which was by promise (4vs23) which was born after the Spirit (4vs29).

There have only been two men and we are judged (according to the one we belong to) in light of that first Adam, or accepted in light of the last Adam, the second man from heaven if we have come to him in faith, being baptized into Christ. In him we are firstborn sons and heirs as he is.

What is the special sense in which the Aramaic word abba is used to speak to one’s father?

In a father – son intimate relationship. On the basis of birth and privilege that goes along with our position as his son, we have closeness and openness and acceptance as true sons.

What is the significance of being heirs of God?

We are no more servants but sons. All that is Christ’s inheritance is ours through faith. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ

Are we sons in the same sense that Jesus was God’s Son?

Yes. That is our only hope. Outside of Christ, we have nothing, in Christ we have everything.

” And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son of God does not have life." 1 John 5:11-12

a)We have in our hearts the Holy Spirit which resonates/testifies with our spirit, that we are God’s adopted sons, free from hold of sin, guilt,Christ died to set us free and for relationship with Father to be restored &at peace.

b)Abba, daddy originally a term on endearment, now used as a less formal familiar way of referring to our heavenly father,as we are co-heirs in Christ.

c)As heirs we have the same status as Abraham’s natural descendents,we don’t have to be afraid of the Father, status changed from slave to the Law and worldly ways, to fully adopted sons, united with Christ through baptism, with Holy Spirit in us as evidence of this. The Holy Spirit in our hearts establishes the intimate relationship we have between us and abba Father.

d)Jesus is the only begotten Son but we are united in Christ, and become joint heirs with Christ, the Son of God, and entitled to same inheritance.
