It is difficult we don't have faith and confidence in our grand Creator. We can stand our ground by being obedient to God and follow Bible principles.

The saints were victorious because no matter the obstacles they faced, they kept preaching and teaching the good news and they had love, faith, and confidence in God.
Wisdom is a tree of life to those taking hold of it. Proverbs 3:18.

There are so many carnal Christians that don't realize when the enemy is using them. As the word says it is not ( "flesh and blood we are fighting " ) It is the evil spiritual forces controling them. If we seek God continually and daily moment by moment relying on the Holy Spirit, using the authority of the name of Jesus that He has given us. Also putting the blood of Jesus against the enemy, covering ourselves with the blood. Trusting, believing and letting faith arise in our hearts. and definitely putting on the armor, then stand in the might of the Lord Jesus Christ. As Paul says in ( 2 Corinthians 10: 3-6 ) We are merely weak humans , but we don't need to use human plans and methods to win our battles, God's mighty weapons are available to us as we fight against Satan's strongholds, T he C hristian must choose whose methods to use. God's or the world's God's mighty weapons are prayer, faith, hope, love, God's word, The Holy Spirit and the blood of the Lamb. We may be tempted to use our own methods, but nothing can break down the barriers of Satan like God's weapons

The victory is won by sacrifice-- Christ's death in our place to pay the penalty for our sin and the sacrifice we make because of our faith in Him severing Christ loyally who alone brings victory. As we go to the cross daily and die to self laying the flesh on the altar we will have victory " They overcame him ( Satan the accuser ) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testamony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. "

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world?
In today's world, standing our ground is difficult when we are not don in the whole armour of God, then the enemy can come against us with evil forces and crush us. Dressed in the armor of God, when the evil spiritual forces comes against us, we will be able to stand our ground and be victorious.

In what way can standing our ground be considered victory?
Standing our groung can be considered victorious when we do not give in and we don't give up to the evil darts of the enemy; but instead we clothed ourselves in the full armour of God and stand firm on the Word of God. Then we will be victorious.

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil?
They were washed in the blood of the Lamb, which meant that they were born again. Facing adversity they are able to used the blood of the Lamb, the Word of God and their testimony to protect them and bring them to victory.

How did they stand their ground?
The didn't give up. They were willing to die for their faith. They stood on the Word of God, knowing that God promise to us is that He will be with us to the end.

"... I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world." Matt: 28:20b

We can't see the spiritual realm and don't understand the life/ death thing. Peer pressure causes us great difficulty. By standing our ground in Christ is victory. When we don't give in to the accusations and wiles of Satan and depend on the Word & Truths of Jesus Christ. They testified, gave their lives and overcame by the Blood of the Lamb. Satan was thrown out of heaven. They showed that they overcame by speaking of Christ and serving Him at all costs.

What is difficult in standing ground in today's world is that so many things which used to be wrong are now deemed right by our society & vice-versa--things that are right are now wrong (not politcally correct). We are bombarded by trash all day. Satan is having a heyday.

Standing our ground is victory when we arm ourselves with His armor. That is the only way to be victorious--Victory in Jesus!

They overcame satan by standing their ground--the blood of the Lamb (Jesus), the word of their testimony & their very lives!
Victory in Jesus!

It is difficult about standing our ground in today's world because we have little faith in God . We doubt if God can rescue us in whatever we are undergoing.
- The Critical blow to satan came when The lamb , Jesus Christ , shed His blood for our sins . The Victiry is won by sacrifice - Christ's death in our place to pay the penalty for our sin, and the sacrifice we make because of our faith in Him.
As we face the battle with satan , we should not fear it or try to escape from it , but we should loyalty serve Christ , who alone rins victory

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world?
It is difficult standing your ground in today's world only if you are a part of the earthly realm of this world. Only if you chase after earthly things. Instead victory is in those who stand against the temptations of this world. Those that stand for Christ.

In what way can standing our ground be considered victory?
In standing our ground for Christ we gain victory because we use the ways of Jesus instead of using the ways of this world. We decide to STAND for something instead of standing for nothing.

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil? How did they stand their ground?
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world? In what way can standing our ground be considered victory? Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil? How did they stand their ground?

It is often hard for us because we had rather be a part of the world and not in the service of God. We feel a need to be a part of the crowd instead of using the power of the spirit to stand firm in the Lord and the power He has given us to stand agains the deamons of this world that are there wispering in our ear that we can be in the crowd and not sin.

If we stand our ground then we are victorious in that we stand firm and as we do our faith grows and the Spirit of the Lord get stronger in our lives and we begin to do more of the things that God wants us to do to further the Kingdom.

They are victorious because the died for their faith and the spreading of the gospel. They finished their race and await hte crown laid up for them.

To stand our ground in this world we have to be firmly grounded in God's Word, fervent in our prayer life. We need to be in the world and not of the world.

When we stand our ground, as James 4:7 and 1Peter 5:9, we stand steadfast and resist what satan throws against us we do claim victory because if we falter and give in to the world and what it 'offers' we will lose out.

The saints are considered victorious because; they trusted in the blood of Jesus, knowing they are cleansed; stuck to the true gospel of Jesus dying for our sins and rose again, defeating the grave and stripping satan of the power of death (Hebrews 2:14); and not to live our lives for ourselves but for the will of God, to love Jesus more than our own life. (Matt 14:26)

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world? The difficulty lies with in the fact that the church has not been able to separate themselves from the Pharisitical way of thinking. Jesus was not a religious man. Jesus did not even take to kindly to the religious leaders of the day. I can’t imagine He would be any happier today with religious leaders in our time. I am not condemning the ministers by any means. Many of them are teaching under a religious sect. When we get to paradise, there will be no division or denomination. There weren’t any in biblical times and in reality, we are all living is God’s Story. His-Story, so here in these times, there shouldn’t be any did-unity among the brethren.

There are many issues in the world now, and especially here in these United States where we really do not even stand united. We have democrat and republican and others. This is not a united nation. There are issues being decided all around us and until we stand up with the power of God behind us, we could very well fall.

In what way can standing our ground be considered victory? When we overcome even the smallest detail in our personal life like overcoming a temptation. The big picture though, when we all decide that The Bible is true and the Word of God is true and we begin to trust in God to do all that He intends to do through His mighty army. When we all finally get it to gather in our minds, our hearts and our souls that we are one body and not different parts going our own way doing what we think we should do. We need to come into alignment with Gods plan and we must c0ome into a unified front against all that is evil and declare war on the enemy through the Word of God.

We must all come back into Covenant with God and settle ourselves into obedience, come what may.

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil? How did they stand their ground? Because they overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and they loved God more than they loved themselves. When we begin to function in the spiritual everlasting concept, we too can overcome the devil here on earth, just as they did in heaven in this passage. We can be completely victorious over all that is evil when we stand up to the enemy and declare that we have dominion over all that God has given us, In the name of Jesus Christ. Satan knows this to be true, but many believers have not yet come to this understanding. God is working through the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Truth, speaks to us when we yield ourselves to the Spirit of God.
"Prayer is the spirit, speaking truth to truth". Philip James Bailey

It is diffult to stand in today's world because most of us do not see the spiritual world. We thus fight people instead of fighting the devil. Furthermore, we easily give up and yield into doing satans biddings, instead of holding our ground and resisting him by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Saints in Rev 12:11 are considered victorious because they resisted and overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimonies.

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world? In what way can standing our ground be considered victory? Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil? How did they stand their ground?

Stabnding our ground in today's world is often a lonely thing to do. At the moment it seems that the whole world is against you, because you can't see who is "just testing", who isn't game but admires you for standing, and none of your Christian friends are present, youmight be 'vilified' by others for standing your ground

When we stand our ground we are victorious againt these things the devil would throw against us, or would have us believe (lies). We are not alone ut expressing our faith in Christ who died for us - alone. and continues to walk with us everywhere knowing. If we will not state our belief publicly there is no victory, for Jesus said that if we publicle recognise Him, He also will recognise us before His Father. How can the world know who we are unless we stand?

They overcame evil by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony (testimony = standing up and being counted for Jesus). They were willing to stand though it cost them their lives because being right with God is more important than life itself!

They stood their ground by giving thanks for the blood of the aLamb and remembering their debt, by making public what they knew of Jesus whatever the cost. They faced the accuser of the brethren squarely and uncovered His lies through the truth that Jesus has shown us, being willing to speak the word of truth as they experienced its power into every situation.

It is difficult to stand our ground today if we do not put on the whole armour of God, we also need to fast and pray and stay in God's Word.

Standing our ground can be victorious when we do not give in to the devil temptation.

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil? Is because they overcame by the blood of Jesus.

It is difficult about standing our ground in today's world to see the spiritual realm and understand the evil spiritual forces as the real struggle, so that we do not arm ourselves with God's weapon and fight they way he instruct, instead we fight with intellectual or psychological or methaphysical weapons.

Standing our ground can be considered victory in a way that we remain standing at the end of the battle.

The saints in Revelation 12:11 are considered victorious over the devil, because they overcame the devil

They stood their ground because of the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and their readiness to give up their lives

People are quick to speak up and say when they disagree with you but not so quick to say anything when they agree. And people will disagree when what you have to say inplies that they may have a sin or struggle in their own life.

Standing our ground is a victory against the devil. Although we may feel that our differences are with people, they are with the devil, not flesh and blood.

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world?
It’s difficult to stand our ground because we haven’t put on the full armor of God. We are trying to do it ourselves without God.

In what way can standing our ground be considered victory?
We don’t give in to the evil around us because we are finally standing with God and not trying to do it alone.

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil?
They were washed in the Blood of the Lamb.

How did they stand their ground?
They loved God more than they loved themselves. rolleyes.gif

If we meet today and you forget me, you have lost nothing. But if you meet Jesus Christ and forget Him, you have lost everything.

There is more joy in Jesus in 24 hours than there is in the world in 365 days. I know, I've tried them both.

we want to be liked and loved by all people in the crowd , and we desire to fit in like we belong here. but we don't belong here.we must keep our eyes on jesus and remember no eye has seen nor ear has heard nor mind has conceived what god has prepared for those who love him.yes even when it comes to death, we must be more than peter was before the rooster crowed three times, we must go beyond our limits and securities and trust god.

 • Interests:I am always seeking to grow in Christ and to learn more of His Word. I'm married and have two wonderful, grown children who live nearby. I'm writing a very personal book the Lord commisioned me to write in 1991. I said, I don't have anything to say! He said, "you will." Then He gave me some wonderful promises for the future, and shortly after that we lost our business, home car, etc. went through catastrophic losses. The book is about the miraculous way God has taken care of us. We were homeless, but have lacked nothing during a long stay in the wilderness. He is faithful!!! and now He is bringing us out into the promised land.

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13) What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world?

The constant barrage of opposition, much of which is cleverly disguised to not look like opposition, but like "the good life". Standing our ground requires prayer and perseverance, which are the last things I think of when I'm being "beaten" up or down by the enemy. We're taught to "be strong" rather than "be strong in the Lord", and for awhile I try that until I remember that His is the victory, and I'm in Him. We're taught that we're weak if we need help..."be self sufficient"....and that keeps me stuck until I cry out to God for help in the battle and ask others to pray as well.

In what way can standing our ground be considered victory?

We played a game as kids where the last "man" standing, won. To me, standing means "remaining"....it means I'm still in the fight and until I'm horizontal under the sod, the battle will persist. I'm still praising and worshipping my Lord, even though things are grim and bleak...means I'm standing!

Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil?

Because they overcame the devil by the means of the lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death for their witness. They lost their lives, but stood strong in the Lord and their faith in the face of martyrdom.

How did they stand their ground?

In the power of His might...the blood of Jesus as they uttered their testimony of His faithfulness!

Q2. (Ephesians 6:13)
What is difficult about standing our ground in today's world?
In what way can standing our ground be considered victory?
Why are the saints in Revelation 12:11 considered victorious over the devil?
How did they stand their ground?

Most people in today’s world do not realize who their actual enemy is. Not realizing that they are to do with evil spiritual forces and the only way they can face this enemy is with spiritual weapons and not the physical weapons they use. Our spiritual weapons represent a set of Biblical truths that protects a given area of our Christian walk. Not only does the full armour of God protect us from these evil spiritual forces but it enables us to stand firm. When we use every piece of armour that God has provided for us we are able to face the enemy with confidence, and will be able to stand firm. Resisting the devil and standing up against him will cause him to flee, and we would have won the battle. With reference to Rev 12:11, the saints claim victory with Christ on the basis of his shed blood that has redeemed them from sin and set them free from Satan's accusations. They stood their ground and overcame the devil and they are able to sing God’s praises day and night in thankfulness for their redemption.
