What was the price of our redemption? How long does our redemption last?
The price of our redemption is Christ's own blood, offered freely, willingly and lovingly for our sins. This redemption is for all time, for ever and ever.

Redemption refers to the process of paying the price ( ransom ) to free a slave. Through Christ's own death , He freed us from the slavery of sin forever.
We were redeemed from our slavery of our wicked sinful ways.
The price of our redemption was Christ dying on the cross and shedding His blood to cleanse us from the inside out once and for all.
We are redeemed through all eternity

The price of our redemption was the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf.
Unlike the sacrifices in the OT, this is a once for all sacrifice--lasting FOREVER! PTL!

Redemption in this case means the releasing of our existence from the bondages of sin and eternal death. We were redeemed from our slavery to sin and from the death of our souls because of sin. The price that was paid for our redemption was Christ's own blood - His loving sacrifice of His life for us. Our redemption was paid for once and for always by Jesus and will last us for the rest of our earthly lives. Jesus covered EVERY sin for us - even those we commit over and over again. This was the ultimate sacrifice for us and it will never be matched again.

When Jesus came, He substitute His perfect life for our sinful lives, taking he penalty for sin that we deserve. Thus He redeemed us from the power of sin and restored us to God.
We must recognize that if we want to be freed from the deadly consquances of our sins, a tremendous price must be paid. But we dont have to pay it. Christ, Our substitute, Has already redeemed us by His death on the cross. Our part is to trust Him and accept His gift of eternal life. Our sins have been paid for, and the way has been cleared for us to begin a realtionship with God.

redemption
noun 1. an act of redeeming or the state of being redeemed.
2. deliverance; rescue.
3. Theology. deliverance from sin; salvation.
4. atonement for guilt.
5. repurchase, as of something sold.
As above we are delivered from the wrath of God for our sins, We are rescued by Christ through His loving mercy.
We are delivered from death for our sins and given a promise of salvation.
we are given an atonement from our guilt by the death and resurrection of Christ from the grave.
We are repurchased by Christ to live a life free from sin and death that He has promised those who seek and find Him and live a life for Him.
The price of our redemption was the death of Jesus He died once for all our sin and rose to save us from ourselves.
Our redemption is for ever if we continue to walk in Christ and to have Him as our saviour. He alone can save us and there is no other way we can be saved than through His blood.

This is an eternal inheiritence we receive, after the heavens and earth pass away, a new heaven and a new earth will appear, and we will be a part of that new heaven and new earth. Rev. 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. (NIV)

"Redemption" is the price of an article once traded for money (or some other value such as birthright), which the purchaser wishes to reclaim. eg People occasionally sell their business and later buy it back, usually at much higher cost.
We were originally traded for supposed status with God, the purchaser being satan. However, this trade meant that we died spiritually, leaving us open to evil suggestion and sin and bereft of the breath of life - the Holy Spirit. In order to recover our situation, man had to do business with satan. However, he had traded his power, so there had to be found a man who could step in on our behalf. That's why God sent Jesus in human flesh to trade on our behalf. His life was the price of our redemption. What satan didn't realise was that Jesus, who is the author of life, was able to lay down His life and take it up again, which He did. So the whole price was paid, but eternal life was not defeated.
In fact, the whole price has been paid for all time and will never be repeated. Our redemption is eternal - for ever. There are no repeats!
