Jesus is mediator between God and man. He has ransoned us from slavery to sin that separated us from God. Now in this New Covenant, Jesus draws us to God through his cleansing blood.

Jesus is a ransom from sin in the sense that his blood was the sacrifice the purchased us from being a slave to sin.

Mediator:
God can not look upon sin because He is a Holy, Pure, sinless God. Jesus also is sinless and His Blood is pure that He shed for us, Because of this He has become our mediator, lawer, defender and protector from the liar ( Satan ) of the brethren. He stands in the gap for us. Because of His selfless act of sacrificing His life for our sins, shedding His blood, He goes before the Father and on our behalf He brings us back together with God. The Blood Christ shed cleansed us from our sins.

Ramson is paying the price to redeem or free a person in slavery or bondage. As we were in sin while in our old nature. When we accepted Christ we were redeemed from slavery of sin, He freed us to walk in a new life. We became a new creature in Him. We were no longer in captivity or bondage to sin and the old ways. Christ bought and paid the ransom ( price ) for our sins by the shedding of His blood. Praise God we are His. We have been redeemed through out all eternity. Hallelujah.

Jesus sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us. Only through Jesus can we come before God. He is our mediator. Jesus gave his life for us so that our sins would forgiven, covered by his blood. He is the ransom that was paid.

Adam brought in death when he sinned, and death became our heritage instead of the Life God had intended. The death principle was inculcated in mankind and manifested first when Cain Killed his brother, Abel, and has been manifesting ever since. Our deceitful hearts promulgate death more naturally than they do life, and this is what Jesus had to deal with as a human being. He had to present Himself undefiled to the tormentors, go right through the death pirnciple and overcome its power for us, for we could not. This meant death on the cross (a tree, as was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden - to that tree Adam and we should have been nailed!) so that in purity and holiness He could rise above death and overpower the evil one. Then His blood appeases God's justice for the blood of mankind spilt in murder and hate since Adam's day, and becomes our doorway back into Life with the Father. Jesus is the very word of creation, and has taken to life as a created being to re-install the Life of the Spirit of God (Called the breath of God in Genesis2:7) into as many of the created human beings who should wish to become Children of God.) Jesus has done all this, and has thus created a pathway back to God through His own blood.

He came to pay the price of sin on our behalf, since man, having put himself in the power of satan, could not achieve such a thing. It had to be done by a man who was not under the power of satan. Jesus was that man, and He paid a debt that was not his but ours, taht we might be set free from the sabotage and slavery that our agreement with the snake had brought about.

Jesus serves as a mediator between God and man. He has brought us together. Jesus redeemed us from sin by shedding his blood, which freed us from being a slave to sin.

Jesus is both God and man, and He is the only person in Universe as our Mediator and can stand between us and God and bring us together again after we sinned. Jesus sacrifice brought new life to all people.

When Jesus died on the cross for us, He mediated on our behalf and brought us (sinners) and God together. He removed the obstacle of sin that kept us apart from God. His life, He offered to God for us, to set us free from the slavery of our sinful natures. He paid the ransom for our sins with His very life, so that He might set us free. We should thank Him every day of our lives for this gift alone.

In Hebrews 4:14-16, (1) Jesus is touched by and can perfectly feel everything we feel in every weakness we have. (2) He has personally experienced every form of temptation we must face. (3) However, he did not sin, so our high priest knows how to win against sin. He knows how to help because he did not fall into evil. (4) Because he stands by God as our perfect high priest, God wants us to approach his throne boldly in the times of our greatest need. (5) For the person who is a Christian, God's throne is the throne of grace, not the throne of judgment. (6) When we need it the most, God wants us to come boldly to that throne in the full confidence we will receive grace and mercy.

There is only one God and the only perfect mediator between God & man is the God-Man Jesus Christ. He made fellowship possible with God by giving his life as a sacrifice for us & our sin, ransoming us from sin's fatal grasp!!
