Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

The Ancient of Days (God) is seen as the heavenly judge.  It is a courtroom scene and God is in control. His white hair represents age and wisdom and his white clothing represents purity and holiness.

What happens to these beast-nations? The fourth beast is destroyed and its body thrown into the blazing fire.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

Because of the evil that we see taking place all over the world.  Without a strong faith and belief in God it would nearly impossible to believe that God has every in control.  With our natural eyes it looks like the world is out of control.  Through spiritual eyes we must believe that God knows the future, He knows what must happen and also when to remove His children out of the chaos.

In this we see God in the heavenly courtroom as absolute judge of the world and all who are in it.  He who is behind the scenes so to speak is in absolute control. His is a courtroom of righteousness and justice and nothing  is hidden from Him.

The "beast- nations" are overthrown and the fourth is thrown immediately into the lake of fire.

When we look at this world with the deceit, cunning, cruelty, lies, pride, the list goes on it is hard to believe that God is in control.  It is only with eyes opened by the Holy Spirit that we can see and understand that God is in control and will judge the "beast-nations" of the world for everything done.

God Bless!

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?  THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP; God is large and in charge.  They are there for His judgment.

What happens to these beast-nations?  They will find their home in the lake of fire.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?  Because we, as humans, don't understand DELAYED GRATIFICATION.  LIke the screensaver on our computers, we tend to believe what we see verses what is real; God is real and truly a consuming fire.  The time to be saved is over; and the screensaver cannot save.

The image of beasts coming out of the sea would be perceived as arising from dangerous evil. The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. The four beasts in 7:48 are four earthly kingdoms, probably what we would call world empires a large territory made up of many kingdoms, ruled over by an emperor or king of kings. They oppress the people of God.

The expression "Ancient of Days draws upon the ideas of advanced age, white hair to represent the wisdom of age, as well as the purity and holiness represented by the white garments. The Ancient of Days, of course, is the Eternal God, Yahweh, the Most High God, whom Jesus called "Father."

Daniel sees a vision of God in his heavenly courtroom. His throne shoots forth flames and the wheels by which it is moved are also blazing. Consuming fire is a theme of God's holiness. His chief advisors are seated on the thrones that have been placed, and "the books were opened" for judgment to take place according to what is written concerning the kingdoms represented by the beasts.

God is in control, and far above the beasts and powers of the earth and sea.

The beast (the Little Horn) was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire. The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.

With all the evil, injustice, wickedness and persecutions that are happening right now, sometimes it iis difficult to see past these and so we question whether God is in control. No matter what we think or believe, God IS in control. We are looking at these events from a worldly perspective with our limited human understanding, whereas God looks at things from an eternal perspective. And so our faith must be strong, we must stay focussed and know and believe that God is indeed in control. Amen!

Q1.(Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against Him and His people?

God is their Sovereign and Just Judge. These nations exist to serve Him, and have chosen evil instead. Psalm119:91: "All things, even the entire Universe serves God". (as much as Satan hates God and His people, he has only the power allowed him, and his efforts at destruction, ultimately end up serving God and furthering His plans and purposes).

"By Me kings reign and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule and nobles, even all the judges and governors of the earth". Prov. 8:15,16.

What happens to these beast-nations?

The three nation groups are stripped of their authority but are allowed to exist for a time. The fourth beast depicted as having a mouth (is most likely ruled by Anti-Christ, and he is thrown into the blazing fire of destruction) and that nation is destroyed..

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

God is Creator of beauty, order, unity, life. The world has devolved into ugly hatred, deception, anarchy and rage...it's difficult to reconcile what God created and intended, with what we have made of his beautiful creation, so it "feels" as though He has disconnected and is unmindful of what is going on around us. BUT God is Sovereign over ALL, and out of the chaos, after His bride is removed to safety (we are not appointed unto wrath) and the nations are judged, beauty, order, unity, peace and life will be restored on earth for 1,000 years during His millennial reign. "His plans are perfect in all their ways and His ways are without understanding."  Prophecy lets us know that His "finger" is on the pulse of everything that is going on, and He waits patiently until the "cup" of evil is full, as in the days of Noah...then sudden destruction.

God's throne shoots forth flames and the wheels by which it is moved are also blazing. Consuming fire is a theme of God's holiness. His throne is the place of awesome justice. Flowing from him is a "river of fire" of which the beast

is found guilty after the books were oppend and was cast into.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

Because of all the evi that is going on in the world; wars, terrorism, as well as many people being killed in the name of Christianity, as well as other reasons.

Daniel has always been one of my favourite books, with the future of God's plans for the world laid out in such a way to give us a glimpse but still leaving puzzles to wait and see what and how our Soverign Lord brings it all together.

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

> Our God is in control and working amongst the nations, he is ruler of all the nations.  Our God loves all the people in every nation -- he created them.  He is seeking out those who will turn to him in faith and obey his commands. He is still calling for His church to obey Him and preach the Good News of Jesus 'into all the world' and then the end will come (Matt 24.)

What happens to these beast-nations?

>  The beast nations will eventually bow to the sovereign rule of Jesus Christ when he returns to set up his millennial kingdom.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

> The world is a large battlefield warring against all the principles of good and Godly teaching as Satan knows his time is short.  It seems in our generation 'we' are turning more and more away from the teachings and principles of God's kingdom that Jesus introduced and commanded us to keep 2000 years ago.  In short the world seems to becoming more and more ungodly.  The world is spinning out of control, rejecting moral and spiritual principles and sinking deeper into a trough of godless despair.  We have the answers that people need and are looking for -- with God's help and strength we must be actively winning souls into God's kingdom.

However this is exciting and encouraging as we see so many of the prophecies of Jesus and the prophets being fulfilled in our days.  So we look up with joy when we see all these terrible things happening just as Christ had predicted before he returns.

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

God is so far above them all in terms of power and authority that they're of little consequence in the grand scheme. Literally here today and gone tomorrow, while God is eternal. They rule for a time only because God permits it. They appear great and terrifying to their subjects, but to God they're pawns. He gave them their earthly power and he took it away when it suited Him.

What happens to these beast-nations?

One by one they were stripped of their power and glory. The fourth beast was completely destroyed while the others were permitted to live on, but with no real authority any more.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

World events happen and everyone despairs for the future. We see how things should be and yet governments seem to do the opposite, all the while telling us that harsh things have to happen to make a better future. These days various organisations are trying to gain control of the world politically and economically to everyone's detriment. People, even in our civilized age, are doing crueller and more heartless things to their fellow human beings than have been done for centuries . . and the cruelty to animals is getting unspeakably worse as well. Meanwhile the weather is getting wilder all the time and earthquakes and volcanoes are happening with greater frequency as well.

Christians realize that all this has to happen but try telling that to unbelievers!!

Even Christians sometimes wonder why God permits the things that are going on to occur. Those who preach only that God is Love must really struggle with God also being a consuming fire.

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

The Ancient of Days is a term used to describe God- Yahweh that links up with God's description of himself in Isaiah "Yea, before  the day was I am...". The subsequent description of the ancient of days with white hair like wool and white garments presents a picture of a  venerable sage who dispenses justice. Thus God sits in the judgement seat over the nations who presided over the destruction of his saints. Everything that is done by all of us including those beastly nations/kings is written in the book of life. Like in Revelations, Daniel also makes reference to the books( and the books were opened) where everything that we do is captured. The beasts are identified both as nations and kings. It is interesting that even though Daniel is told and shown that the saints will eventually prevail against the beasts and rule those very nations, he  was much troubled by his thoughts. It appears that before the saints get judgement in their favour they would undergo terrible pain and sufferring. We can only look to recent actions taken against Christians in Nigeria, India and the recent mass shooting in the US where Christians were called out.

What happens to these beast-nations?

The four  beasts/ nations are overcome when the Ancient of Days comes and gives over these kings and nations to the saints. The Ancient of Days takes action on three separate occasions against the four beasts who appear at different times. It is curious that the judgements against the first three beasts take away the kingdoms of each beast but allows each beast to remain alive for a season and a time. There is still some occurrence that God needs these beasts to fulfill. It is the last beast that is the most cruel such that the previous three are described as wild animals but the last beast is inanimate out of iron with no "soulish "feelings whatsoever. It is this beast that will be given special authority over time and laws who will inflict the most suffering on the saints. His end will be like the others, the Most High will take away the dominion and award it to the saints.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

When we see images of hundreds young children starving, or being abused; when we hear of persons who are doing charitable acts horribly murdered; when we read of natural disasters wiping out entire communities or religious leaders commiting sin and lliving in luxury while people are starving in many places on earth, we can get discouraged. More importantly when we see people who commit evil and corrupt action apparently prospering, our faith is tested. However the bible  speaks to all of these apparent paradoxical situations.

The bible says that God is slow to anger. Thus God gives all persons time to change their ways and like a lost sheep to return to the fold. Also the bible is clear that rain falls on all of us so both innocent  e.g Job and not so innocent will have suffering. The sufferring of the saints, as in the case of Job, can serve to strengthen their faith and provides examples to others about Gods grace. The suffering may also be seen as preparation for the time of the fourth beast. We know from Daniel that immense suffering will take place at that time and those who have withstood previous situations are best placed to serve as examples to others. Ultimately we know that in all things we give God thanks as everything works together for good to them that loves the Lord.

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

Whichever I look at this, God (Ancient Days) was in absolute control of the beastly nations which arose and ones which will arise and of every situation. The Ancient Days was the ultimate Judge and is still Lord over the earth. The fierce heat of God’s judgment will destroy anything or anyone He chose. And allow His people to return to their nation to rebuild their homes and place of Worship.

What happens to these beast-nations?

As God took away the dominion of the first three empires, God will destroy the fourth one, the Antichrist completely making way for the Messiah’s reign.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

The deceptions of Satan can be attributed to our disbelief that God is in complete control over every of His creation. Satan manipulates the human thinking and makes humans succeed with prosperity anyone who does things his way.

By the very name of God, Ancient of Days, we understand God's longevity, His wisdom, His enduring power and authority. In contrast we see the beastly nations that come and go. They might make a splash in the world exercising power and conquering people and, they might be seen as victorious and successful for a time, but their judgment day is coming. They are as a vapor, but God is eternal, enduring and just. The beasts face judgment.

Sometimes we lose sight of the Ancient of Days and focus only on today. We see the success and victories evil people achieve and question why. Where is God? Why does He let evil people get away with hurting so many people? But when we look in light of the Ancient of Days, we see the success of evil doers is only temporary. They will face God's judgment seat and be held accountable because God is a just God.

The beastly nations are at enmity with God and one another. They have risen up, rejecting God. They represent all that is contrary to God and his kingdom. God will have the final say and destroy them. God has allowed the beasts to have some control, but he has them on a leash!

It is sometimes hard to believe that God is really the one who is in control of the world because there is so much evil in our midst.

Q1. (Daniel 7:11-12) What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against him and his people?

The Ancient of Days is the "Most High God" who put down kings whose hearts and leadership become arrogant and hardened with pride, kings whose leadership is so full of the pride of "SELF" that they do not "FEAR" the "Ancient of Days" who calls himself the "God of Israel"  is sovereign over all kingdoms of men, in their pride they refuse to understand that "judgment" is in His "HAND" or understand why His Son sits at the right "HAND" of God Almighty.

Q2. What happens to these beast-nations?

God's fiery destruction of judgment will be seen by some, and to others their dominion will be taken away, all done in God's season of time.

Q3. Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

It is not difficult for me to believe God is in control as it is clear we are seeing the vision Daniel saw being fulfilled not just in the past as it was spoken, but we are witnessing it coming to light this very day, and I tremble for America as I witness her king, Her leadership full of "PRIDE" as America’s leadership raises her fist of defiance against God's laws of righteousness, and I have to wonder, how long will God put up with her treatment of the poor as in the vision, that of Jerusalem, and those who believe in the Messiah of Israel, the Son of Man? All is done in God’s perfect time.

Q1. (Daniel 7:1-2)

What is the relationship of the Ancient of Days (God) to the various beastly nations that rage against each other and against Him and His people?

What happens to these beast-nations?

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?

In this Scripture, we see that God reveals facts about history in advance, and something of His own awesome and glorious purposes. He is control and judgment of the four nations represented by the beasts will take place. Finally, the fourth beast was killed and its body destroyed by fire. The other three beasts had their authority taken from them, but they were allowed to live a while longer. There is so much evil and wickedness present in the world today, that it might seem that God is not in control.

But all true believers know that is not true. In 1 John 5:19 we read: “We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” But ultimately it is God who is the all-powerful Creator who preserves and governs everything in the universes.

The Ancient of Days is the eternal Most High God, and all the nations, peoples, and rulers of this world are accountable to His justice and judgments. This includes the beastly evil nations of Daniel's visions. These hellish nations are all removed from their dominions by God. The fourth beast is killed and utterly destroyed in the stream of holy consuming fires, while the lives of the other three are prolonged for “a season and a time”.

We don't see much restraint anymore of evil dominions and world leaders, and it often seems that they are unhindered and free to do as they desire. That makes it more difficult to believe that God is truly in charge because it seems that evil is running the show. But, in His perfect timing, God will fulfill His Word, demand accountability for all they have done, and execute the full wrath of His judgment on these domains of evil and rebellion. No earthly ruler who has been allowed a position of leadership will escape God's scrutiny of the record and motives of service.

Another problem with our understanding is that it's very difficult for us to grasp the timelessness of the Ancient of Days.  His view is outside of the boundaries of time in which we live.  What seems like "forever" to us as we wait for judgment against evil is actually but a moment in the grand scheme of God's plan and work.  He is faithful to complete what He has begun!

The Ancient of days, our Heavenly Father, is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will judge the nations and destroy the evil ones. It is difficult to believe God is in charge sometimes because of the evil that continues to prevail. Especially this time we live in.

The relationship of the Ancient of Days and various beastly nations that rage against each other, is that God is in control of all history, nations and all peoples.

The beast nations are judged, defeated and thrown into blazing fire.

Sometimes it is hard to believe that God is in control of the world we live in because of all the chaos that goes on among all nations. People are usually persecuted, famine takes many lives, food is scarce in places and unusual weather takes numerous lives because it's unpredictably.

The Ancient of Days (God) is always in control of the kingdom on earth.  He can raise them up and put them down. The four beasts are four great empires in the history of humanity.  God determines their ruling time and gives them the authority to punish His people (the Israelites) due to their disobedience to His law.

Up on the End Time, God will destroy all of those beast-nations and will judge all human beings according to their deeds.

It is difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in because so much injustice has been done and people's behaviour has gone wild.  Many people have suffered and those who stay faithful to God are persecuted.

People often ask where God is.  Why does He allow calamities to fall on humanity?  The simple reason is, people have chosen their own ways, not God's way.  From the beginning the first man and his wife have chosen to listen to Satan (Genesis 3:5-6), and so their children continue to do the same.

The relationship is that God almighty is the one that judges the world. There is a war going on between good and evil. God came to judge all nations. All of those against Him will be cast in the lake of fire. Because their is so much heartbreak throughout the world.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to believe that God is in charge of the world we live in?The Ancient of Days is The SOverign Immortal God ,Yahweh

Recall ,Isaiah 43/10"You are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. 11"I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me. 12"It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And I am God.…

Beast nations -The fourth nation was destroyed utterly and the other 3 stayed for a period to be destoyed eventually ..

It is difficult to believe that God is in charge because of the evil and cruelty ,sadness and despair that prevails ,due to man not seeking God ,
