  1. Unwholesome talk is common among us Christians is talk that does not edify the hearer. Our talks should be of important, encourages and bring out good fruits to those who hear it. Slander is bad mouthing a person to make him or her Lowe to the hearer and it is common among us Christians to belittle each other, we can prevent it by loving one another just like Christ who loved us unconditionally.

  2. The Secular, non-christian mindset of our age is, they do as they please, without considering God in their lives. They think that they know best and regard not God. They live in fornication and adultery to satisfy their flesh, they **** for everything. We are tempted to confirm to it's values because sometimes we are not rooted into Christ, they are our family, neighbors, friends sometimes and we want to belong to the society despising to be different.

  3. They were both expecting a miracle, they were put together to comfort each other, Elizabeth confirmed the prophecy concerning the child Mary was carrying. The broken hearted and those who have walked this journey before me.

  4. Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, He went to seek Paul because He heard that Paul preached bodly at Damascus in the name of Jesus and disputed against the Hellenists, though they tried to kill him, I think it took so long for Paul to get in active ministry in Antioch because they had to be part of the people, explain daily what the gospel of Christ meant.

  5. Jesus Christ was dependant upon the Spirit's annointing because He came to fulfil God's desire for humanity so He was to do everything commanded by God the Father, God is Spirit so He needed to be guided by God on this assignment for the unity of God the Father and God the Son. We are also dependant upon the Spirit's empowerment in a similar way because we should know the mind of God and walk in His will while on this Earth, Romans 12:2 And be not comformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. And this can happen through the Spirit of God.

  6. God brought this vision to Peter because He had already chosen him to be of help to Cornelius, the Centurian. Gentiles were believed to be unclean, as a Jew he was not supposed to associate or visit them. God told Peter that he should not call anything impure that God has made clean. This relevation helped Peter realise that dietary do not bring salvation.

  7. On 8/11/2021 at 9:21 PM, Pastor Ralph said:

Q1. (Acts 10:2, 22) What do we learn about Cornelius’ character? Why do you think God chose to reveal himself to Cornelius, rather than the average pagan? Is he more worthy of salvation?

We learn that Cornelius feared God and was a devoted man of prayer. I think God chose him because of the humble character to know God more hence he spent time in prayer. No he was not more worthy of salvation, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

  8. God used healing and raising from the dead to begin a mighty regional revival by touching the hopeless situation where there people who could attest to those like this man who was sick for 8yrs, it was a long and discouraging for people around him so when he got his healing it was unbelievable. The case of Dorcas was hopeless the widows were left grieving bitterly so by that restoration of live thier needs were made, which summarised by the deed of one woman. So God used unthinkable restoration to make Himself known in a way people didn't know was possible. Yes I am willing.
