Q4. (1 Kings 17:8-16) Why does God send Elijah to a poor widow rather than a rich man? If God sent someone to you to provide for, how would you respond?
I believe God was testing the faith and power of obedience of Elijah.
I would respond positively if I have the means of provision.

Q1. (1 Kings 17:1) What kind of courage does it take for Elijah to go before King Ahab with a message of drought? What dangers does this bring to Elijah? Why is “speaking truth to power” so difficult when the power structures are corrupt?
It really takes serious courage and commitment for Elijah who knew He is serving a living God and reverenced God to go before King Ahab without fear with the message of drought.
It brought a danger of death to Elijah.
The fear of being eliminated makes speaking the truth difficult when the power structures are corrupt.

Q2. God feeding Elijah by ravens tells us that God is a Great Provider and God of Possibilities.
God feeding Elijah by ravens tells us that there is nothing God cannot use to achieve His aims.
When we obey God, He will provide for us beyond our expectations.
