  1. If we claim to love Jesus then when we see a brother or sister in need we will do what is needed or at least our best in the situation..we must have compassion and seek it as Jesus lived it God help me to do what you have calle dme to do in compassion and love for my brotehrs and sisters let me see through my busieness to the needs of others

  2. We know that there will be a second coming and no one knows when As Christians we need to prepare and be ready for his coming and live as He has called us to live. We may not be Here for the second coming but our second coming could be any second......we could be taken ( die) at any moment and we need to know that if we did die in the next minute we would be at home with the Lord.......SO UNTIL THEN WE NEED TO PREPARE AND SHARE SO OTHERS TOO WILL BE READY....HOLY SPIRIT HELP US!!!!!!

  3. Lawlessness shows up in our actions and lack of right and wrong....disregarding what God has told us how we need to live....Loving the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and loving your neighbor as yourself.

As we live out side of these laws we are living for self no one able to tell you what to do ie God. Certainly not a way of life that has or is preparing for His return

  4. The Bible as we know and believe is God's Word and teaches us how He expects us to live. He tells us that he will return and we must be ready to go home with Him and be judged. He tells us we must be born again and when we are the Spirit lives in us and testifys to our spirit how we should live and prepare..to be ready and He provides us grace in order to live what we are called to do b/c we cannot do it on our own.....

  5. To abide/continue/remain in Jesus is spending time in our relationshipw with him ie.....spending timein the Word, in prayer and fellowshiping with other believer in friendships and church( of course we are the church) THe way we can know those not abiding is by their fruits......pulling away and more involved in the world (is easy to fall back into) the enemy is waiting for us in every turn.....we much keep on God's armor at all times.....

  6. After Jesus left he at Pentacost gave us the Holy Spirit and as believers we have Him living in us and Jesus said he would reveal all truth and teaches us everything we know..... so if we stay in our fellowship with Jesus He will point us to all that Jesus taught and left for us We must continue our relationshpw with Jesus daily in His Word, prayers and with the church family...He will commmunicate to us all we need if we do our part Praise the Lord

  7. ABiding in Christ is spending time with Him.....Studying the Word.....Getting to know his likes and dislikes and how we are to live... although if we are abiding in Him the Holy Spirit will guide us who is living in us...Also through communicatiing with Him in prayer.....doing these we can walk more like Him and be an example so others will want what we have.....Holy Spirit Help us

Someone not abiding will not be spending time with Him... will be finding fault in the church.... will beging to comprimise their walk and how they live You will know them by their fruits...

  8. When we become christians the Holy Spirit comes tolive in us.. He communicates the truth in us so therefore IF we stay close to Him often times He reveals things, ie teaching that are of the antichrist.. I do believe all Christians ( true believers) have been given the Holy Spirit and it is our choice by the way we live if we are so anointed....(in touch with Him)...Often times the lack of faith in using the power of the Holy Spirit keeps us from really experiencing it.....

We dont we see in this country USA more power..healing and miracles? I believer it is our lace of faith and too much SELF SUFFICIENCY and lack of dependence in our Lord Jesus and His Spirit. God help us to walk fully in the anointing of the HS

  9. Q3. (1 John 2:20, 27) In what ways is the Holy Spirit an internal Guide for us? In what ways does he teach us? In what ways does he point us to Jesus' teaching?

When we baecame believer the Holy Spirit came to live in us...and He is our helper and teacher the only one we should trust for the truth. As we seek Him in His Word and Prayer and truly stick to what the Word teaches we will be able to discern what is not the truth. There have been times when I hear teachings from TV pastors or others and in my spirit I am quickened and made uncomfortable and I seek him to turn from this.......

  10. Q2. (1 John 2:20-21) What is the "anointing" that John is talking about? In what way is anointing connected to the Holy Spirit in the Bible? Has every Christian received this anointing? What do you think?

When we become Christians receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. When we are baptised in the Spirit He comes upon us.. When we begin to live in the Spirit we exhibit the fruit of His Spirit.....His love for others comes to live in us, His truth as well.,,, things that use to be ok now we are changed and are new creations and the Holy Spirit guides us..".you can tell them by their fruits."..

This is certainly an on going thing in my live.....Just recently I went on a Medical Missions Trip to Nepal and during this the Holy Spirit has spoken to me about compassion....for the lost, for the needy for the orphans and widows.....I am seeking his will and guidence as this grows in my life.... It seems everywhere I turn in devotions ,the Word......compassion is spoken to me in literal words or in the Spirit..It is a wow thing for me

  11. The world is anything or person that we think of more than God( usually begins in the heart) There are several attitudes

+cravingfor physical pleasure...... preoccupation with gradifying physical desires

*craving for everthing we see......covetingandaccumulating things, bowingtothe godofmaterialism

*pride inour achievements and possessions..obession with ones status or importance....

THIS IS NOT EASY BUT KEEP IN MIND AND REMIND OURSELVES DO MY ACTIONS REFLECT THE WORLD'S VALUES OR GOD'S VALUES

  12. Each stage of life in the Christian pilgrimage builds upon the eother. AS children learn about Christ they grow in their ability to win battles with temptation. As young adults move from victory to victory, they grow in their relationship with Christ. Older adults, having know Christ foryears have developed the wisdom needed to teach young people and start the cycle all over again. Each level have our responsibilty to pass on and encourage one another

  13. Sin is progressive and as we see things ie stuff money, success and that is all we can think about they b/c our god and take the place of Our Lord Jesus..even the strongest Christian if we are not careful these things can slip into our lives without realizing it.....esp if you are in the world.....as the Word say we need to be in the world but not of the world.

God wants us to be successful but again we must watch the flesh b/c our pride in what He has given us will have us live as if it was due to our doing, being.......

We must stay connected to Him through regular study of His Word and fellowship with brothers and sisterS in Christ to stay strong and cautious not to be drawn into the deceitfulness and lies of the enemy.....ALL IAM AND ALL I HAVE IS FROM HIM I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS ME ...BUT I CAN DO NOTHING WITH OUT HIM

  14. 1. Craving for physical pleasure.. preoccupation with gratifying physical desires 2)craving for everything we see coveting and accumulating things, bowing to the god of materialism and 3) pride in our achievements and possessions-obsession with one's status or importance. Knowing that this evil world will end and give you the courage to deny yourself temporary pleasures in this world in order to enjoy what God has promised for eternity
