  1. Q5. (1 John 2:26-27) If we have the Holy Spirit, why do we need teachers in the church? How does the role of the anointing differ from the Holy Spirit's spiritual gift of teaching?

WE NEED BOTH BUT WE ARE NOT TO RELY ON MAN. THEY ARE LEAD BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GIVING WHAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED. BUT WE ARE NOT TO RELY SOLELY ON WHAT MAN SAYS. WE ARE TO SEEK THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR OURSELF

  2. Q2. (1 John 2:20-21) What is the "anointing" that John is talking about? In what way is anointing connected to the Holy Spirit in the Bible? Has every Christian received this anointing? What do you think?

ANOINTING IS THE EMPOWERING FROM GOD.

ACTS 10:38 SAYS THAT GOD ANOINTED JESUS WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND POWER AND HE WENT AROUND DOING GOOD.

JOHN 1526;16:7 SAYS JESUS IS THE MESSIAH THE ANOINTED ONE, WHO WAS ANOINTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE IS ALSO THE ONE WHO POURS OUT THE HOLY SPIRIT ON HIS PEOPLE.

  3. Q4. (1 John 2:15-17) What kinds of sins are covered by the three examples of worldliness that John gives? Why are these sometimes so difficult for us to discern in ourselves? Why is worldliness so harmful to our future?

this would be **** of the flesh, eyes, and boasting of what you have and what you have done, pride. As for me I never that of telling about what you had accomplished as a sin so I had to stop and repent and as the Lord to forgiven me for sinning unknowingly. It is what the people in the world does they tell others bout their accomplishment. I will never again do it I'm asking the Holy Spirit to help me in that area and ask that other pray for me as well.

  4. Q1. (1 John 2:7-11) How does hate and unforgiveness blind us spiritually? If we have been darkened by hurt and hate, how do we come into the light?

the lack of love kept us blind to the thing of God, we are in darkness and we are only fooling ourselves. Saying we love the Lord and yet we hate our neighbors that not love. We are to forgive all no matter how much hurt they have caused us. Jesus command us to love one another as we love ourselves. The way you treat other reflect the way you feel about yourself.

  5. Q5. (1 John 2:3-6) How can we be serious about obeying Christ without become legalistic and judgmental, with a self-righteous attitude like the Pharisees had? How do love and legalism differ? How can we be serious about obedience and make love our center?

I think if you truly have the love of Christ operating in your life you will not judge anyone no matter what you see them do or say you will pray for them to overcome the stronghold and let them know that you cant cast out a mind set. They have to be ready and sick and tired of their lifestyle. When you are obedient to what God says not man you will stand firm without losing ground even if that means you lose fellowship with that person. God will send someone into their life to let you know that they are headed to destruction. When you go in love people will listen to you more. You start with a positive note and end with a positive note. Allow the error to be in the middle and they dont walk away hurt or destroyed.
  6. Q4. (1 John 2:1-2) What assurance does John give us if we do sin? How does this comfort us? How does it make us want to avoid sin?

we have an advocate with the Father. It make my heart glad to know that if I sin that are forgiven when I repent and turn away from them. I dont want to have anything to do with anything that looks like sin.
