The elements of Paul's prayer for the Colossians are characteristics (profiles) of growing believers.
Specifically, they are: knowing God's Will, spiritual wisdom and understanding, a life pleasing to Jesus, bearing fruit by doing good works, having an intimate relationship with the Lord, being strengthened by God' power, patience,thankfulness, and joy.
All of these characteristics are equally important. However, developing one's relationship with God is bound to produce the other fruits within the life of the Christian.
When some of these attributes are missing the Christian can grow weary (in well doing)as the issues of life take their toll!
