Through Jesus we are joined with God and that the Holy Spirit is the mark of God within us that we may be recognised at the time of conquouring death.

  2. Q3. (2 Corinthians 1:10-11) Why does Paul ask people to pray for him? How do the prayers of others have an effect? What happened in your life that has helped you enter into a ministry of intercessory prayer?

Prayers are answered. From the very first moment I surrendered to God my prayers began to be answered. Praying for others has brought amazing results, so by others praying for you, God's power is revealed. We are a community which is what God wants and praying for each other is a very strong binding force for this community.I prayed for someone just as lost as I was and God's light has shone strong ever since.

  3. Q2. (2 Corinthians 1:9-10) How does facing a harrowing crisis help us grow in the Lord? How has a crisis helped your spiritual life? What is the value of learning not to rely on ourselves? What does this do to our pride? How does this improve our effectiveness as God’s servants?

At the onset of the storm of a harrowing crisis, I find respite in quiet prayer time with God asking for His guidance and help. Sometimes the Holy Spirit comes to me easily and the storm abates. Sometimes not. This is pretty testing but I just take a deeper breathe and continue to ask for God's help. No answer means I am going the wrong way and although very painful, it is time to take stock and re-evaluate. My relationship with God gives me the space and calm to find the path that I am meant to be on. I have found God to be the only source of trust and hope no matter what I face. As a servant of God......still working on this but any little way I can be worthyto serve Him makes is all worthwhile.

  4. Q1. What happens when people adopt the Christian faith without repenting of their known sins? Why do people avoid repentance? What percentage of Christians today do you think are unrepentant, unprepared in heart?

Faith without repentance does not become belief - rather the unrepented sins are not washed away by God's forgiveness and continue to arise in everyday life. There is little progress in the relationship with God. The gift of Jesus is not fully received. Repentance is true examination of the heart and mind - a cleaning that is required before faith can grow. Percentage of Christians today unrepentant - only God knows that and I am not to judge.
