  1. Q1. What happens when people adopt the Christian faith without repenting of their known sins?

Christian beliefs are introduced to us by our parents/church etc ............if these beliefs remain at the mental level ...we do not experience their life changing power ,so we could continue to live as cultural christians rather than christians by conviction .....repentance is the first sign that we are making these beliefs our own ...and we are living a fuller life .

    Why do people avoid repentance?

We do not see ourselves as we really are

    Fear of change

Our hearts have not really fallen in love with our GOD , we do not really desire him more than what we currently have or possess

What percentage of Christians today do you think are unrepentant, unprepared in heart?

most of us desire to change , we are at various stages of the journey , and The Holy Spirit does and will bring us all to this point eventually through our trials /circumtances .

  2. Q2. God purposely created us with a good and natural sexual desire. How do we distinguish between that God-given sexual desire and forbidden lus+?

We are sexual beings so it is natural and good to have sexual desires , How ever like any other pleasure/desire ,it only becomes legitimate when used unselfishly for the higher goal of becoming a Loving person.marriage is a sacrament that allows us to experience this desire legitimately ,however if indulged in selfishly even in marraige it is **** and would not achieve the purpose for which God gave it to us .

In conclusion : Sexual desires should lead us beyond sexual intimacy to Love if not it would degenerate to base physical pleasures enslaving us rather than liberating us

  3. Q1. (13:2) Does Abraham's material wealth reflect God's blessing on him? Does material wealth always reflect God's blessing? Does physical poverty always reflect God's curse?

The prosperity gospels equates wealth to gods blessings and the poverty gospel glorifies suffering.God calls us to be good stewards and like Abraham though

wealthy yet not attached to his wealth, responsible and selfless.

To the one who is fathfull in little things more will be added.

  4. Q2. (12:2-3) In what ways was Abraham blessed. How have all the peoples of the earth been blessed? In what way does Abraham continue bless people through your life?

1.The greatest blessing that Abraham received was that he was to be the instrument through whom all were to be blessed.

he was blessesd to become a great nation,a great name, wealth above all blessed with a FAITH that clung to all Gods PROMISES realising the potential that they held for mankind.

2.In the fullness of time ,the birth of the saviour of mankind was the result of Abrahams faith.

3.Abraham was blessed even before he performed any acts for God.

his greatness was that he believed GOD at all cost, giving glory to gods power and and ability to accomplish all that He has promised.

4.Everytime I cling to GOD at dead ends in my life ,I am reminded of abrahams faith .everytime i receive a blessing i know that it is not only for me but for many around me too.

  5. It's exciting to meet other people who are involved in this Bible study. Why don't you check in and share a bit about yourself, and what state and country you are from. Be discrete about sharing private things about yourself.
