  1. Q4. Why do we tend to fight our battles “in the flesh” rather than using spiritual weapons? Old habits do not die easy, many of us simply forget that its a spiritual (spirit) warfare and not a physical warfare. We tend to see the person, but not the spirit behind the person. Some people only believe what they see with their physical eyes and this is a major mistake in spiritual warfare. As stated in Ephesians 6:12 We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. The spirit realm is real and the sooner we realize its not the person, but the spirit inside the person the better off we shall be as we go to spiritual war. Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy? When will God fight our battles – and when won’t he?God will fight our battles when #1 We ask (pray for help) #2 We obey #3 When we trust him and give the situation to him. It is Gods pleasure to fight on our behalf and he will do it over and over again if we implement our trust, obedience and faith in him. Our God is an awesome God!

  2. Q2. Why is it so difficult for some church leaders to confront people? Many times confrontation stirs up strife and hatred. For example, in the case of Moses and Pharoah, when Moses confronted Pharoah it stirred up deeper feelings of bitterness from Pharoah to the Isaraelites. However, if Moses had not obeyed God and confronted Pharoah, then the people would have still been in bondage. What fears in this regard does a leader face? Fears a leader face when confronting anyone are many, but just to name a few they most likely fear rejection, bitterness, failure, a lack of peace and many other feelings. How can confrontation and rebuke be a good thing? It can be a good thing if it releases a person or a group of people from a bad situation. For example, many people don't like criticism, but constructive criticism if received in the right spirit can only make us better! What happens when we refuse to confront when we should? An unstable or unbalance situation will remain the same, nothing changes until a man or woman of God has the strength, backbone and tenacity to do what God has commanded them to do!

  3. Q1. (Exodus 7:6-7) Why did Moses blame God for his troubles? Moses took instructions directly from God and no one else. I believe Moses blame God out of his own frustration. God gave a command and Moses obeyed, but many times it seemed as though his obedience cause bigger problems, however; we know that God is not a man that he should lie, if he said it, he'll do it, its just a matter of time and God continually reminded Moses that he would fulfill his word and deliver the Israelites. Why are Moses and Aaron so stubborn, do you think? Their reluctance came from a combination of both fear and unbelief. Fear and unbelief are enemies of Faith and when you walk in fear and unbelief it will hinder your ability to receive what God has for you. As children of God, it may not be easy, but we must learn to walk by faith and not by sight! Was it fear? Was it unbelief? Or both, perhaps? Why does God have to command Moses and Aaron? Whenever God has an assignment for us, he will always give us instructions or a command or a charge to go forth. Such is the case with Aaron and Moses, God never wants his servants to guess, so he makes his charge or command clear always!

  4. Q4. Why are we so afraid to obey God when he puts on our heart to do something decisive? Each of us may have different reasons. Sometimes we simply believe we are inadequate to fulfill a task, at other times it could be fear or a lack of courage. How are we to deal with fear when we feel it? One way to deal with fear is to confess God word just as Paul wrote it to Timothy in 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. It reads as follow For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. What is the relationship of fear to courage? None, they are opposites. Why is courage required in leaders and disciples? One cannot effectively lead without courage, no courage equals no backbone, no guts, no heart. People will not follow a leader that is fearful; as the old saying go "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. The book of James said it best A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. To be an effective leader you must have mental stability. Amen!
