  1. It tells us that we as the body of believers are one family, under on father "God". The nature of the church is that just as we are members of an earthly family and we all have different chores and responsiblilities so should it be with the church family. God has given us responsiblilties "the call". He chose us for a purpose. We need to ask God to reveal that calling so we can be functioning in God's family as we should. Gods nature is of loving father and protector and provider of his children.

;) We are to love our brothers and sisters in church as Christ loved us. I come from a family of 5 brothers/sisters and we don't always agree with each other, however when the storms of life come we are there for each other offering all type of support. Sometimes it is very hard to love someone but it is not a choice we have we must love all men. If we love only the loveable what does that show , nothing but because Christ lives in us we can now love, no matter what the circumstances are. Remember if we can't love our brother/sister whom we can see how can we say the love of God is on us and that we love God.

:) We are to gather together in one accord so we can encourge uplift each other etc etc......those who do not fellowship are missing out on many of God's blessings. Its an awesome time when a church can join together and give praises unto the Lord almighty and feel his presence in the sanctuary. God made the church for our benefit.

SUCH A POWERFUL STATEMENT NEWBIE, AND HELPS ME BETTER UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION I AM IN AS A MENTOR/ FATHER TO A 19YR.OLD MALE WHOM I LOVE AS MY OWN SON I KNOW HE LOVES ME BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK CLOSELY AT HOW HE EXPRESSES LOVE, BECAUSE OF REAL LIFE ABUSE IN WHICH HE GREW UP AND TRYING TO FIND LOVE IN GANG AFFILLITATION, IT IS HARD BUT I STILL LOVE HIM, HE SAYS HE IS TEACHING ME TO BE HARD  GOD LET ME KNOW I AM TEACHING HIM TO LOVE :D

  2. (Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Exposition

We are seated with Christ, and also above the other spirit beings, angels, demons. That we have the authority over Satan and his demons. That we have victory over them through the saving work of Christ.

    :D:rolleyes: PRAISE THE LORD!

  4. ;) What God has done is so wonderful and powerful it must be seen with spiritual eyes. They had nothing in the natural to compare it to so they can't comprehend what has happened and what it means. The power operates in the spiritual realm and must be looked at differently than natural happenings. The example of the power God has performed was the Resurrection. The power God used in the resurrection makes any power found on earth seem like no power at all. This even includes atomic power. Praise the Lord, the power used in the resurreciton is available to me. Nothing is too difficult through the power of God.

I could not have thought of a better answer
