  1. Q1. Why was God's willingness to forgive essential to Israel's survival in the wilderness? Was Israel contrite after turning away from the Lord in Exodus 34? What is so amazing about God's forgiveness?

    The Israelite would'nt have survive without God forgiveness, because they need God in order to survive in the wilderness. What is so amazing about God forgiveness is that God forgive us for our sins.

  2. Q5. What do we miss in our understanding of God if we remove the metaphor of Father and Son from our church vocabulary? Which feminine metaphors of God especially help you understand God's nature?

    If we remove the Father and Son from our church it would'nt be the same,The feminine metaphors of God is that God cares for our his children just as a mother cares for her childrens.

  3. Q4. In what sense was God the Husband of Israel? What is the New Testament extension of this metaphor? What causes God to be jealous?

    God the husband of Israel is the maker, and the Lord of the host is his name,what cause God to be jealous is that you shall have no other God before him,you shall not bow down or whorship them,and he will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.

  4. Q3. In what sense are Jesus and the Father one? In what way was Jesus distinct from the Father? Is Jesus God in the sense that the Father is God?

    Jesus and the Father is one because of the Father,The Son and The Holy Ghost, Jesus is God because he come in the name the the Father.

  5. Q2. How was the intimate way that Jesus taught his disciples about God as "Abba" and "Father" different from the Jews' understanding of God as Father? How does God as Abba influence your relationship with him?

    The intimate way Jesus taught his disciples they should always obey the way of the father and trust in him, God our father influence our relationship with him is to love,honuor,worship our father.

  6. Q1. What does the concept of "father" teach us about God, especially the formal way which the word is used in the Old Testament? According to the quote from Otfried Hofius above, which two aspects of a father underlie our understanding of Father in the Old Testament? How should they affect our behavior?

    The concept of father is that he is the head of the house, and that we should obey all his rules,our understanding is that we should always obey and honour our father and be obedeint to his word, and our behavior is that we are to act according the the father who made us.

Yes i can remember when the Lord care for me as his shepard and in times of trouble,he have brought me a long way,I lost many jobs not because of my doing it was something that happen, my husband got sick with kidney desease he had to quit his job and then i was layed off because my job went out of business, then i found another job a job that i can say that i love working their, I had a boss that i could call my friend we both go to the same church she is the one who have gotten me the job, but things change on the job she move to another department and i have gotten another boss who has fired me for something that was not my doing but i could'nt help that because of my husband, i am the caregiver of him he is totally disable he can't walk are do nothing for himself, it get hard sometime, but i know that i have have the Lord on my side because without him i don't think i can make it.

Abraham beleive that God would provide the sacrifice not him he didn't think that he would have to give up Isaac for the sacrifice and he didn't trust that the Lord will have a sacrifice, but he was willing to give up Isaac, the support of my position is that i am willing to give up anything for the Lord because i know that the Lord will supply all of my needs, that including any conditions.

My personal implications is that Yahweh being my King is that i will always looked up to him because he is the LORD and he rein over everybody and everything, and JESUS being the Messiah is that he come to redeem us from our sins. The advantages of Yahweh as the King is that he is the King of Kings, I will always submit to the King because he the ruler of the earth and all that is on the earth. A person can reject Yahweh if he do not know that he is the King over him or her.

  10. It effect Isaiah by letting him have a vision of the LORD. He was on his throne high above. Isaiah was afraid because he has seen a flaming creature with six wings each were flying over him, GOD makes Isaiah holy by seening the King, the LORD ALL Powerful. Isaiah response to GOD is sins are forgiven, and Isaiah said that he will go and speak this message to the people.
