  1. Q4. Meditate on the titles "King of Glory" (Psalm 24:7-10) and "Father of glory" (Ephesians 1:17). What do they tell us about God? How should they affect our attitudes as we worship God? According to 2 Corinthians 3:18, how does God's glory come to fill our lives?

That God is ALL powerful; Mighty Warrior; Undefeatable. When we worship God, our worship should be full of accolades that depict His nature, i.e., Lover of my soul, Majesty(sovereign power; authority), Almighty God, Wonderful Counselor, Deliverer, Redeemer, Comforter, Wisdom, Defender, Avenger, etc. for He and He alone is worthy of our praise and worship.

God's glory comes to fill our lives through the working of His Holy Spirit in our lives.

  2. Q3. Meditate on the phrase "High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy...." (Isaiah 57:15, RSV). What do you learn about God from this phrase? How should this affect your outlook on life, your way of conducting yourself?

That God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. That time has no meaning for Him as He inhabits the past, present and future; that He is infinite, never ending. That God and God alone deserves all glory, all honor, all praise and worship. That He knows all; sees all; that nothing happens without His being aware of it. He is I AM and that means to me that He is everything that I could ever need, want or desire.

Because God is Holy, we as His children should fight the good fight of faith, and desire above all else to be vessels of honor for His glory. To let go of self, and allow Him to form and fashion us as He wills for His good pleasure. We should long to please Him first, before pleasing ourselves. I believe that our personal times of prayer with the Lord should begin with praise and worship for who He is, and asking Him to show us where we can be of service to Him that day.

  3. Q2. Meditate on the title "Most High." What does it mean to you? How do you or will you incorporate it in your worship?

There is no one greater that He. He created all things, that nothing has come into existence that He did not command. He created the universe. When I think of that, I meditate on how much bigger my Papa God is than His creation. When I look at the ocean, the size and power of just the ocean, I know that my God is so much greater. That nothing is impossible for Him. That He is my source for all things. That He is limitless.

When I think of Him as the Most High God, I wonder how will I ever be able to praise and worship Him, revere Him, and thank Him in ways that He is most deserving of? So I simply love Him, and worship Him from my heart, through song and dance, through spoken words of adoration and testifying to people of His greatness, His awesomeness and His unconditional love; by loving people as He has commanded me.
