  1. Q3. Revelation 12:11 could be considered a theme verse for the book. What does it mean? Who is overcome? In what sense do we have victory if we die in the process? What does the "blood of the Lamb" have to do with this? How does loving our lives prevent spiritual victory today? (See Luke 14:25-27; Matthew 10:37-39.)

Laying down your life for Christ for Christ has overcome the Accuser. While down your life for Christ you die once instead of twice thus eternal life. Jesus shed his life blood to overcome and cleanse us of our sins-Christ is the Lamb. They will know us by our love.

  2. Q2. (12:1-17) The vision of the woman and the dragon are heavily symbolic, but comprehensible when you take care to understand. In your own words, what does this vision tell us about the cosmic battle in Jesus' day and in our own? What comfort should we disciples draw from this passage?

The woman represents one of 3 things but I will pick the one I agree with the most and that is Mary and she is surrounded by Satan who is ready to eat the boy asap when he is born (Jesus). The egale swooped down and grabbed the baby before Satan could react to the birth. This gives me hope and strength-encouragement and endurance for the Lord has won already. And if I just endure a little more suffering for a little while longer I can praise him for the blessings and for all he did to win the battle.

  3. Q1. (11:3-12 ) Interpreters disagree upon the identity of the Two Witnesses, but they are certainly strong and brave. What positive characteristics do you see in their actions that we should emulate in our day? What is their reward?

The positive characteristics are being faithful and true, trusting in the Lord for they shall receive their reward which is eternal life with oiur God and Lord and Holy Spirit.

  4. Q5. (Rev 10:1-9) What is bitter about what you've read in Revelation 6 through 10? What is sweet? Why do we tend to reject what is hard for us to understand?

Rev. talks about John eating the little scroll which tasted sweet like the incense being sweet from the prayers to God who loves them; the bitter or the upsetting of the stomach was from the nonrepented sins of the others.

  5. Q4. (Revelation 7:9-18). From this passage what do we learn about the kind of people who make up the "great multitude" before the throne? Let's not debate whether they are the 144,000 or not. But what is their origin? What does their spirit within them cause them to do? What does the first verse of the song "Amazing Grace" have to do with 7:14?

I believed the martyered praises the Lord but also asks the Lord "How much longer"? The symboliism of washing their robes is being made clean by the blood of the Son by Grace thus their song of Amazing Grace was their praising God. Rev. 7:14 is the deliverence of the saints through the Great Tribulation and received into Heaven thus the songs were praises to the Son.

  6. Q3. (2:22) What is the significance of serving Jesus as a "slave" as opposed to serving him as a preference? What does it say about the quality of our service? Of our commitment? What is wrong with leaders who serve out of preference?

Jesus asks us if we want to get well so it must be the up to each individual's choice to study the Word. After you accept the true Living God then there is a deep desire to serve him by helping others. This is caused by the love of God and we the willing to submit and call ourselves as his slave, but the church also needing humbleness and submission. This only worked when we are meek but many churches have leaders that are not meek.

  7. Q2. (2:22) Who has come alongside you to teach you? What potential leader in your church needs someone to come alongside them? Do you have a person or two that you are mentoring "as a son with a father" or "a daughter with a mother"?

My pastors and Christian women in my church have enabled me to reach out to families in need as in no transportation and minister to them as well as they to me.

  8. Q4. From what you've read in Philippians so far, what seems to be the Philippian church's chief problem? How does Paul's description of Timothy's character speak to this problem? How does Paul's call to honor men like Epaphroditus speak to this problem?

To me it seems as if the struggle is about an old term is troublemakers. Timothy's description show humbleness and meekness-a teachable servant He is an example of Jesus for us. And Epaphroditus was honered by Paul for coming to the prision to be at Paul's servant as he did in many ways. People like these address a problem of selfishness in allot of people including churches.

  9. Q1. (2:19-21) Why was Timothy's selfless concern so rare among church leaders? Rather than pointing the finger at others in your church, consider yourself. What things has Jesus had to deal with in your life that has helped you to become genuinely selfless and focused on the concerns of others? How has he refined you? (Of course, he is still at work in us!)

I was a selfish person for many years of my life. Timothy's selfless allows a humbleness and meekness. I became selfless when I had a awakening of how much God loved me-enough to die for me- and my life was transformed. He has refined me in painful ways until I understood that it was only to make me strong in my faith like the refiner's fire Daniel went through. Church leaders must be selfless to hear and communicate with God and to his congreation. Now I will do anything for I do not work for anyone but for my God. I praise God through all circumstances and my humility comes from and the glory goes to the Lord.

  10. Q4. (2:17) You have gone through struggles and obstacles to your faith. If you were to look at your sufferings as a "drink offering" poured out before God, how does that honor God? How does that bring value to your struggles?

Jesus kept me alive during my struggles and sufferings because he was carrying me. How can I not give him the glory for bringing me through them with the opportunity to serve him by giving back to him all the glory.

  11. Q3. (2:16) In what sense are we Christians to "hold fast" the Word of Life? In what sense are we to "hold forth" this Word of Life? How does this relate to the purpose of the church?

"Hold fast" means for the church to stand strong until he comes again. We are to continue being the Bible individually and together corperately for this maybe the only Bible others read or hear. Continue to be strong churches and minister to each other and the community.

  12. Q3. (Revelation 7:1-4) There's disagreement about exactly who the 144,000 represent. Let's not debate that, but look deeper. From 7:1-4 what do we learn about God? Read Ezekiel 9, then answer: What is this seal supposed to do for the 144,000? (Please wait to consider 14:1-5 until we get there, okay?)

Jesus will come again for his church. He can be a lamb or a lion when the situations call for it. I know only Jesus can break the plagues. The seal is debatable but it will cover the people of God during the plagues and tribulation.

  13. Q2. (2:14-15) How does ceasing complaining and arguing enable a church to shine as stars in a dark sky? What does this shining as stars signify? Have complaining and arguing compromised your church's witness as a God-place? If so, what can you do to change this?

Complaining always breeds discontent in a church and stops the stars from shining. Stopping the discontent enables the stars to shine again, The stars represent God's love and light.

  14. Q2. (Revelation 6:9-11) What do we learn about the Church from what is revealed in the Fifth Seal? Where are these "souls" at the time of this scene? What does their proximity to the altar signify? Why were they killed? Why do they ask for vengeance? Is that a Christian prayer? What does the white robe represent? What do we learn from their instruction to "wait a little longer"?

There was a time between the 5th and the 6th seal. The "souls" were martyered people " the faithful witnesses" whom had been martyered for their Christian belief. The were under the altar signifying they were persecuted and a sacrifice to God. They were praying for vengence and justice. The white robes signified repeatence and Prescence of God. The instructions were given to wait a little while and the Son of Man will return

  15. Q1. (Revelation 6) Who initiates this great storm of destruction represented by the Seven Seals? Against whom is it directed? Is it just?

Jesus initated the storm after the people refused to repent. It is directed at the unrepented sinners and is completely just.

  16. Q4. (2:9-11) We know we're supposed to humble ourselves like Jesus did. But how can we know whether or not God will exalt us? Why do we get impatient with this? What does our impatience sometimes lead to?

Jesus came to show us an example of how to serve others by being humble and patient with everyone we meet. we must follow his example and continue to love another even if these are our enemies. It is harder o love our enemies if not it will lead to a struggle with pride.

  17. Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

The Trinity is composed of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit so when we worship all we worship each one. The Spirit is inside us and God and Jesus are on their throngs

  18. Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom?

We as believers are children and friends of our God thus by our humility and repentance we became priests for Jesus make us worthy. Each one of us has the Kingdom inside us for this is where Jesus is

  19. Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

We should praise God and Jesus who are 1 in the same. Our relationships should be as loving as the Trinity. Their relationship to us should be 1 in the same.
