[Q3. Holy and Blameless]

Being Holy means being set apart, consecrated to God for Him and for His purposes.We are commanded to "Be Holy for I am Holy". Here, on earth, we must strive to live a sacrificial life that is set apart from the way the world lives. Because of the blood Jesus, we stand before the Father blameless - our sins have been covered.

[Q2. Predestination]

Predestination can be scary because it takes the "control" out of our hands; it brings about an "unknown" which most often unsettles us in our human nature.... What is comforting is knowing that God loves us so much - His plan is to give us a future and a hope. He always wants to bless us with all sorts of blessings beyond what we can ask or think. It's also a comfort to know that God thought about each of us individually to play a role in His plan....I think Paul brings it up to let the Ephesians know that they weren't an after-thought. God planned for them to be in the family before the creation.

[Q1. In Christ]

I believe that being "in Christ" tells us that we are truly apart of the heavenly family. Just like Christ is in the

Father and the Father is in Him, we become a part of this union by being "in Christ". Our lives, therefore, must reflect the family into which we now belong.
