  1. Q4. (Psalm 121). What does it mean that God is our Keeper. In what ways does he "keep" or "guard" us?

To stay ourselves upon God as a God of power and a God all-sufficient for us. David did so and found the benefit of it. 1. We must not rely upon creatures, upon men and means, instruments and second causes, nor make flesh our arm:

  2. Q3. In what ways is God a Rock in the above verses. What functions does a rock perform in Palestine?

God is a rock in times of our distress, our protector from evil, our deliverer and strength. He is where we get our strength in time of need.. A rock in Palestine functions as the mountainous terrain as protection from the weather and a hiding place from the enemy.

  3. Q2. (Psalm 3:3) In what ways is God a shield? In what ways is he our glory? In what ways is he "the lifter up of my head"? What does this teach us about God? About ourselves?

His Word is my sheild from the fiery darts that satan tries to fire in my direction. He is my glory thru the crucification of Jesus. My head is lifted up for I continuely look up to Him for direction. This teaches us to glorify God and trust Him in all circumstances of our lives. It shows my faith in God no matter what is going on or what attack I am under for I have the victory through Him and the Crucifiction.

  4. Q1. (Psalm 91) What is the protected one required to do in times of danger (verses 1-2, 9). What metaphors are used of God's protection in this psalm?

    Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

Trust that The Lord most High is my fortress, refuge and safety, because I choose to Follow Him and have Faith that all that is in His word will not come back void and is truthful. That he is my Fotress, refuge, shield, buckler, His angels have Charge over me. He will deliver me.

  5. Q4. What is the significance of the confession "Jesus is Lord"? Why is this necessary for salvation, according to Romans 10:9?

  6. Q3. What are the implications for governments that Yahweh is the King of kings and Lord of lords? What are the implications of removing God" from a nation's currency and pledges, and ardently secularizing national life? Where does that put a nation with regard to God the King?

These questions are to political. The fact that a nation wants to remove recognizing God as King of king s and Lord of Lords is just stupid. That would jeopardize them during the tribulation.

  7. Q2. What are the personal implications of Yahweh being your King and of Jesus being the Messiah sent from God? What are the advantages of being the subject of Yahweh as King? What does it mean for you to submit to the King on an everyday basis? How does a person reject Yahweh from being King over him or her?

When you know that Yahweh is your king you are fulfilling God's wishes for His creations. And recognizing that His Only Son is the Messiah is showing him that you trust in Him and What His Word Says. The advantages of being a subject to Yahweh are to mant to list from blessings to eternal life it is unending the gifts and supplies the Mighty King has for those who follow. To submit my self to the King daily is making my flesh a sacrifice for what God wants from me and not what I want. A person rejects Yahweh by controlling their own lives and not letting God show them the way.

Justice: giving someone wht they deserve no more and no less

    +

We as christians need to step it up and help our fellow brethren. Mentor the children and young adults who do not have the right influences in their life. We need to go and help those who need our help be it finanacially or just assistance in areas like upkeep of lawns, rides to dr. appt.s , grocery store etc.

Extra credit for present-day evangelists: How can we declare God and his Son Jesus Christ in a relativistic world? What is an effective approach? (There is no simple answer here. What is an effective communication strategy in your community?)

People are formed by their surroundings and the way of life around them. We can know and understand God's righteousness for God can not lie and his word speaks of his perfect love for all and the selfless acts he does for all whom believe. If someone grows up in a world where truth and love are the only things they are aexposed to then they will know of no other behavior. They will always be truthful and love everyone.

Isaiah starts to feel unclean abd unworthy. He is afraid of God's judgement and that now that he has seen God in all His Glory isaiah would now die. The coal symbolizes the forgiveness of our transgeressions. Isaiah is eager to please God and be obedient.

tired, weary and faint. We obtain our strength through God as did Moses when he raised His hands during battle. 15. Q2. What inherent rights does a Potter, Creator, or Maker have over what he has created? How should that effect our lives, our self-image, our sense of purpose?

  16. Q1. (Isaiah 45:9-12) Why is it ridiculous for a pot to second-guess the Potter? How do we Christians do this? What is a better attitude and behavior before our Creator?

it is ridiculous because the potter is designing the pot for perfection. The potter designs and makes sure that the pot is well shaped and complete. We tend to blame God for our short comings and things that go wrong in our lives when it really is the choices we make not what He has made for us. It will make me better by being thankful that my Creator has made me complete and each day that I walk in His Obedience He is making me more in His image more Perfect,

David new that Goliath was not one of the people of God. So he knew that God was on his side and He drew his strength From Him(God Almghty.). For if you choose not to follows what His Word says you will be judged and face the second death. He is the one and only God. There is no other beside HIm. He empowers all glory and honor and worthy of all the praises of His people. He is the same yesterday, today and forvever. He is never changing. And is what His Word says He is . The almight Living God.

It will be peaceful and restful and i would be in awe of the Awesome power around me and soak up all the knowledge I can. It inspiores me to be more Christ like every day and to have God take all my steps and total control of my life.

  20. Q1. (Exodus 3:1-15) What does God's name Yahweh reveal about his person and his power? How would an understanding of Yahweh's name contrast him with the idols worshipped by the Egyptians?

hE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE aLMIGHTY rULER OF hEAVEN AND EARTH AND Has contain all power that defeats all. He has dominion over all things and The egyptians worshipped a god for each different thing. God has power over all. He is ever enduring, merciful, powerfull over all creations in heanven and on earth.

  21. Q5. How should the knowledge that the battle is the Lord's affect the way we approach life? In what way do both timidity and brashness get it wrong? Are there any instances in which the Lord will not fight our battles?

Having knowledge that the battle is the Lord's is that we have already have victory and should not get discourage but turn to GOd for our strength. When timidity or brashness enter the picture we can tend to fall off the path that GOd has placed before us and loose our focus on God and have the battle go on longer that expected. God will not fight our battles when we are walking around in darkness and we do not let him fight for us.

  22. Q4. (Exodus 17:9-16) In what sense was Moses' rod like a signal pole in this battle? In what sense is the LORD our banner in the battles we face?

It signal to the troops as a remingder of whose army they were fighting for and the strength thay can gain from The Almighty God. Joshua felt invincible and that no one could come against him and defeat him for His was on the Winning side.
