Q1. (Psalm 8). What does this psalm teach about God? What does it teach about human beings? What does it teach us about Christ? What does it teach about our responsibilities?
God is the highest being, and we should praise him, even from birth, learning to talk. This Psalm also teaches us that we are beneath God and he created us to tend to his creations. LIke God is over us he gave us the knowledge & capabilities to take care of his animals, flock, everything.
  2. Q3. Meditate on the phrase "High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy...." (Isaiah 57:15, RSV). What do you learn about God from this phrase? How should this affect your outlook on life, your way of conducting yourself?

:P God is the highest, And we should always rememeber that, at all times, upon are wake up in the morning, during the day, at night. all the time

  3. Q2. (19:15) How do the first two sentences of Hezekiah's prayer (verse 15) correspond to the first sentence of the Lord's Prayer? How are they important to faith? How are they important to God answering the prayer?

Heziah is addressing the Lord with highest respect, honor And that he is God over all whcih is exactly what the Lord's Prayer is saying. we must have faith that god can do anything & everthing. We must have faith in order for our prayers to be answered.

  4. Q1. (19:14) What is the significance of Hezekiah spreading out the enemy's message before the Lord? What is the underlying principle illustrated here? How can we apply this principle to our own lives? What happens when we don't apply this principle?

Hezekiah spread the message out before the Lord because it was wrong. The underlying principle illustrated is that the battle is the Lord's , give them to the Lord from the start, he will work them out. When we don't the Lord steps back until we completely give them to him, and we ask for help.

  5. Q2. (Matthew 19:4-6 quoting Genesis 2:24) Do people need to be Christians to be joined as one flesh? Is this making into "one flesh" accomplished by a religious ceremony or by natural law? Of those who have entered into a first marriage, what percentage do you think have been "joined together" by God, according to Jesus' statement in Matthew 19:6?

:P You don't have to be christians to be joined as one flesh, but I think that you are unequally yoked if you are not both christians. You are more likely to survive if you are equally yoked.

Joined together as one is a religious act, God say that we should be joined as one.

Maybe 50 percent was joined by God.

  6. Warning. Believing Christians disagree on some aspects of divorce and remarriage. In addition, many have been hurt in bad marriages and divorces. Be gentle, sensitive, and loving with one another -- even if you disagree!

Q5. (Matthew 19:9) Does a person who has remarried after a divorce that wasn't caused by marital unfaithfulness, live in a perpetual state of adultery? Should that person divorce or separate in order to get back into God's will? How can he or she get back into God's will, or is that no longer possible?

Yes if you did not divorce for unfaithfulness, you ar an adultress. I suppose ask for forgiveness. to get back into God's will.

  7. Q4. (Luke 1:38) What is the essence of Mary's positive response to the angel? What can we learn from her response for our own lives? In what sense was Mary's response an "informed consent"? When we respond to God, what do we consent to?

Mary's positive response to the angel was the correct answer, not to doubt and submit yourself to the Lord's work no matter what he wants us to do.. We should be submissive also.

  8. Q2. (Luke 1:34) In what way does Mary's "How?" question (1:34) to the angel's declaration differ from Zechariah's "How?" question (1:18)? Why was Mary rewarded and Zechariah disciplined?

Mary's "How" was different because she did not doubt the miracle, the birth of Jesus , she just wondered how this (birth) would happen. Where Zechariah's made excuses and reasons for Elizabeth being old and himself being to old.

He did not say as Mary did let your will be done.

Zechariah doubted the miracle so he was disciplined by being silenced for months.

  9. Q4. (Luke 1:38) What is the essence of Mary's positive response to the angel? What can we learn from her response for our own lives? In what sense was Mary's response an "informed consent"? When we respond to God, what do we consent to?

Mary was obient, she said let it be according to your word. She did not make up excuses, or give reasons why not. She listened.

We should learn from Mary to listen and obey the Lord in our lives.

Mary listened and took it (message) at face value.

We respond to God and consent to his word

  10. Q4. (1:5-8) What is the promise to claim in verse 5? What is the condition attached to this promise in verse 6? How do trials help us receive this wisdom?
:P GOD saids to ask for what we want. In James 1:5 it James the author is saying that if you need wisdom to ask

GOD, Ask God what it is that he wants u to do, and he will answer. He doesn't have a problem with us asking.

What is the condition attached to this promise in verse 6?

The condition is that once we have asked an received an answer, not to be double minded.

How do trials help us receive this wisdom?

Our trial should cause us to learn from it. You should learn something.

  11. Q2. (1:13-15) Why do people blame God for evil? Does God tempt us with evil? Does he tempt sinful people with evil? Why does he allow people to sin? Why does he allow evil to exist at all?

If someone blames God for evil they have not studied the bible. God is Good, we chose to sin which causes evil. God don't tempt people with evil.We have free will to do wrong or right.

Why does he allow evil to exist at all? I think because we have choices, so we won't say that he is making us do things.

  12. Q1. (1:2-4) What value have trials had in your life? Have you let Satan destroy you with those trials? Or allowed God to refine you? How have you changed?
I've had a lot of trials in my life and i know that they (trials) just made me stronger in my faith. They continue to teach me to stand firm and believe and know that God will shower me with his grace and mercy as long as I have faith and believe.
  13. Q4. (1:5-8) What is the promise to claim in verse 5? What is the condition attached to this promise in verse 6? How do trials help us receive this wisdom?

VERSE 5: WISDOM, IF WE ASK FOR WISDOM, AND REALLY WANT GOD TO SHOW WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO, THEN WE HAVE TO BE ABLE, WILLING, READY TO ACCEPT THE ANSWER. WISDOM, GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH IT. I FEEL THAT IF SOLOMON ASKED FOR WISDOM, AND NOT RICHES, HE WAS BLESSED WITH IT ALL.

HOW WILL TRIALS HELP US TO RECEIVE WISDOM? TRIALS ARE LEARNING EXPERIENCES, WHICH WE SHOULD GAIN SOME KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM FROM EACH ONE.

  14. Q3. (1:5-8) How do trials help cure us of "doublemindedness"? How do trials help us grow in faith?

:) TRIALS IN OUR LIVES SHOULD CAUSE US TO NOT BE DOUBLE MINDED, SHOULD LEAD US TO BE STEADFAST, READ THE BIBLE MORE, STUDY MORE, LEARN THE WORD AND KEEP THE WORD IN YOUR HEART & MIND. WE SHOULD LEARN BY TRIALS TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD TO GIVE US THE WISDOM & DISCERNMENT NEEDED TO DEAL WITH THE SITUATION. :):D

  15. Q2. (1:13-15) Why do people blame God for evil? Does God tempt us with evil? Does he tempt sinful people with evil? Why does he allow people to sin? Why does he allow evil to exist at all?

IF YOU BLAME GOD FOR EVIL THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN THEIR LIVES, WE (BELIEVER) KNOW THAT THEY FIRST OF ALL HAVE NOT READ THEIR BIBLE. GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF EVIL, HE WANT THE BEST FOR EVERYONE. BUT IT IS OUR CHOICE DO RIGHT AND NOT ALLOW SIN INTO OUR LIVES, BECAUSE SIN EQUALS DEATH. GOD DOES NOT TEMPT US WITH EVIL. WE HAVE THE WILL AND TO MAKE CHOICES.

  16. Q1. (1:2-4) What value have trials had in your life? Have you let Satan destroy you with those trials? Or allowed God to refine you? How have you changed?

    :D

I'm been in church since I was a baby. I've had more what I felt was my share of problems, until I learned that God will put no more on you than you can handle.

My Storms are just A test to strengthen me.. So I now thank God for my trials, for they caused me to be stronger in my FAITH.

I have also learned not to let Satan destroy me with trials. I now know that he will try all, your health, finanes, HE WILL come through your family, OR CLOSEST FRIEND. Yes I have changed. I don't break down when trials come, i try to remember that I have nothing to fear and that God will never LEAVE NOR FORSAKE ME.
