Q1. (Joshua 5:13-15) Why did the Commander say he was on neither side? What is the significance of this? What did Joshua feel like during this encounter? How did he feel after this encounter?
Before this event, we see children of Israel crossing the Jordan river. Then their focul point was "Word of God" among them in the Arc of covenant. We see Jordan river parts when the feet of Levite preists who carry the Arc of Covenant touches the water of Jordan River.
Here we see the Same Word of God in a different manner. As Commander and Warrior.
The answer of the question seems like bouncing the question back to asker himself. He realizes the important question is where we are. Are we with God or not that makes difference

HE is King, HE is Father. All glory is HIS . I am HIS child and have right to inherit from HIS glory.

LORD reigns for ever,He is eternal,and time factors can't measure HIM.

Q1. (Genesis 14:19, 20, 22) What did Abraham and Melchizedek seem to believe in common about God Most High?
Both Abraham and Melchizedek are having awareness in their hearts that God Most High is the creator of heaven and earth.
They believe it and proclaim it.

[i am totally ignorant to answer this. I feel I am in the middle of an ocean sky over me is vast I don't find any border, ocean around me too is vast I don't see any boudary or limit. And the only thought rule me now is my smallness almost equal to nothingness. Here my mind murmur me,rejoice in Him, I am still under HIS Mighty Wings. My mind still says me 'fill your mind with as much as you can from the Vastness of the Meanings of HIS Names, and be aware that what ever words, launguage you have learned is not sufficient to express about HIS name.............
About incorporating in worship, Now I pray Loving God to teach me How to use Your Name, because HE commanded us to be very careful in using HIS Holy Name.O LORD help me to Love YOU and YOUR Holy name with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength.................

Here we see the perfect preference and choice of Lord Jesus Christ. HE chose the perfect choice " The Holy Will of LORD THE FATHER".
