Q3 (Daniel 2:44) What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up?

It shall be set up on earth by the God of Heaven.

It shall never be destroyed.

Its Sovereignty shall never be left to another people.

It shall break and crush and consume all these kingdoms.

It shall stand forever...it is eternal.

What kingdom is this?

The Kingdom of God, ruled by our triumphant King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

When does this kingdom come?

When Jesus. the Rock, the Stumbling Stone, the Chief Cornerstone which was "cut without hands", (and became a great mountain of Rock which filled the whole earth (Dan 2:35), crushes and consumes all these kingdoms.

How is this related to Mark 1:15?

This is the kingdom Jesus spoke of when he was on earth as "being at hand." His kingdom on earth which He came to proclaim through repentance of sin and faith in Him, which would follow His crucifixion and resurrection from the dead.

When will it destroy all other kingdoms?

At the end of the tribulation when the 10 nation European Union (Revived Holy Roman Empire) led by Anti-Christ is defeated by the return to earth by Jesus and after the final battle. This will begin the 1,000 year reign of Jesus on earth. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!

An eternal kingdom. A kingdom like no other since the beginning of time. Ruled by Yeshua. This kingdom comes last. It will come on God's time. Not ours. Yeshua told about this kingdom when He said that it was "at hand". So we must be ready. When the tribulation period ends, the Forever Kingdom will be set up. The antichrist deceives people into believing that he is the Christ. How sad for them. Yeshua will begin His one thousand year reign. I am so ready. The world has beome so evil. And we haven't even seen the worst of it. This is NOT my home.

What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up? What kingdom is this? When does this kingdom come? How is this related to Mark 1:15? When will it destroy all other kingdoms?

The coming Kingdom of God will be:

1. Temporal. The Kingdom of God will be set up or established in history, in the time period of the kingdoms described in the dream's interpretation. Jesus declared, "The time has come. The kingdom of God is near." (Mark 1:15). Yes, it will be fully realized at Christ's coming, but it was established when he came to earth as Messiah.
2. Divine. God will set it up, not man.
3. Eternal. This kingdom will never be destroyed, or succeeded by another ("left to another
people"), but will endure forever. Unlike all the kingdoms and empires that preceded it, it
will not fall.
4. Consuming. It will eventually crush all other kingdoms and bring them to an end.

Jesus identified himself with this Kingdom. Jesus himself is the Rock, the Divine Messiah, who at his Second Coming, will destroy all kingdoms and substitute His own.

The Kingdom of God was established when Jesus came to earth as Messiah. However, it will only be fully realised at Christ's second coming. Even then Lord Jesus, come quickly. Amen!

Q3. (Daniel 2:44) What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up? 44 in the time of those kings, the God of heaven will not set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands -- a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces." (2:40, 44-45)

The “God of Israel” is the God of all nations. Although the rulers of those nations, #1. The Babylonian Empire, represented by the head of gold, #2. The Medo-Persia Empire, represented by the chest and arms of silver, #3. The Greece Empire, represented by the belly and the thighs, and 4th The Roman Empire, represented by the legs of iron, AND the ruler of our nation today, may not recognize Him as God, there is coming a day when this part of the interpretation will ALSO come true, there is coming a kingdom that will never be destroyed, it is God’s Kingdom, where righteousness will reign as that of Iron, it will be established by God’s Son the Messiah, at his Second Coming; I can almost hear the rams horn blowing in the distance as God revealed to us what “God the Son” said in (Revelation 2:27) He will rule with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall be broken, crushed completely: even as I received by the Father: and another a strong warning to the “nations,” (Revelation 19:15) for out of his mouth will go a sharp sword, that will smite the nations: and he will rule them with a rod of iron: and he will tread the winepress with the fierceness, indignation, and “WRATH” of Almighty God.

The God I serve is not a marshmallow God as some would like to think, He is a God that is to be feared, God did not send His Son for us to just be saved, the Son tore the veil so we may go to the throne room, for we have been brought into “Covenant” with God the Father; if we love Him, keep His Commandments.

Q3.

(Daniel 2:44) What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up? What kingdom is this? When does this kingdom come? How is this related to Mark 1:15? When will it destroy all other kingdoms?

The kingdom of the God of Heaven, in my opinion, started to take shape with the birth of Christ, during the time of the Roman emperor Ceasar Augustus. The earthly kingdoms set up by mere mortal kings only has a transitory life span and they rule by corporal vigor condemning people at their own discretion. But the kingdom of God triumphs of the the hearts of mankind with love and spirituality, and this kingdom of heaven is here to stay.

Because of its divine and eternal origin its unconquerable. The King Messiah, said, “And I tell you that you are Peter, ……… and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”(Matt 16:18) No other kingdoms will subsist during this time only kingdoms will be Jesus’ Churches.

The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15) This is further proof that the kingdom of heaven is already taking its shape and it’s still growing.

“I will bring such distress on all people that they will grope about like those who are blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like dung.”(Zep 1:17) The 2nd coming of Christ is doomsday for all antichrists – they’ll pay with their lives and their hierarchies destroyed.

Q3. (Daniel 2:44)

What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up?

What kingdom is this?

When does this kingdom come?

How is this related to Mark 1:15?

When will it destroy all other kingdoms?

God’s kingdom will be established during the period of the four empires described here. It will run parallel and unnoticed by the great leaders of history. From Daniel 2:44 we know that God’s kingdom is His creation and it will be an indestructible and infallible kingdom – it will never be destroyed and it will never fail. It is an all-victorious kingdom, eternal in its duration. It will also be a universal kingdom. The kingdom of God is seen as taking shape in the days of the fourth empire. From Mark 1:15 we understand that it was during the period of the Roman Empire (Palestine was an occupied country), that Jesus came in Galilee, preaching that the kingdom of God had drawn near in His ministry. We see this kingdom growing from unrecognized beginnings until it filled the whole earth. The kingdom had come; its powers were already released in the world, but in a full and final sense it was still coming, all that it promised would be fulfilled. Ultimately, all the kingdoms of the world will be shattered against this kingdom of God. The rise and fall of the empires is not military or financial, but rather moral and spiritual, and their destruction is the outworking of the judgment of God on kingdoms that have turned from His law and forsaken His Word. When Jesus comes again, He will crush all the kingdoms of this world, since He is the one that our Heavenly Father has committed all judgment to (John 5:22). He is the stone that the builders rejected which became the chief cornerstone (Acts 4:11).

The kingdom of God, according to the notes will eventually crush all other kingdoms and bring them to an end. Jesus King of Kings and Lord of Lords-alone possesses immortality...to him “be honor and eternal dominion!” (1 Timothy 6:15). The kingdom of God will be fully realised at Jesus second coming. It was established when Jesus came to earth as Messiah (Matt 3:2). According to the notes, Jesus will hand over the kingdom to his Father (I'm not sure what I think about this), who will set up-a fourth kingdom which will endure forever but will crush all other kingdoms and bring them to an end.

Q3. (Daniel 2:44) What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up? What kingdom is this? When does this kingdom come? How is this related to Mark 1:15? When will it destroy all other kingdoms?  Verse 44 - "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever." It will be forever, never to be destroyed or left to another people.  God will be sovereign over this kingdom and no kingdom will stand up against it.  This kingdom will endure forever.  How I long for that kind of kingdom where God is sovereign over all.  This the kingdom of God that will be fulfilled when Jesus returns.  This is the kingdom Mark talked about in Mark 1:15 where it is inhabited by the redeemed, those who have repented and believed the good news.

Daniel 2:44 teaches us that the kingdom God will set up will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to other people. His kingdom will crush all kingdoms of the earth and bring them to an end.

Verse 44 tells us the kingdom of God will be the last kingdom and will last forever.

We don't exactly know when the kingdom of God will come, but when it comes the people of the earth the people will be totally immersed in evil, murders, robbery and sexual perversion. The Lord will come unexpectedly, there will will be marriages and all sorts of evil taking place, no one will be worried about the coming of the Lord.

When the Lord return's he will place all nations, countries and enemies under his feet. All kingdoms refusing to come under the Lord's rule will be destroyed.

In verse 44 it tells us that God will set up His own Kingdom,  it will never be destroyed and here Daniel is talking about Jesus. It is the Kingdom of God and in Mark Jesus proclaims that right. In Daniel he does not give a time just that it will be when the kingdoms divide and are corrupt. I am fasinated by the stone that represents this Jesus.  It took a "stone" to bring down a mighty nation.

It is a kingdom that can never be destroyed it will last forever.  It will endure through thick and thin. This was God's first warning to Nbuchadnezzar that He, God  is in charge and not man.

44 The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls.'" (Matthew 21:44)

What does verse 44 teach us about the kingdom that the God of heaven will set up?

Like it or not, Jesus will rule and have final dominion over the earth. As Rome found out (and fell), Christ will reign and will rule with LOVE and PEACE and JUSTICE. Rome- the empire responsible in part for the death of Jesus, ended up falling and declaring Christianity it's nation's religion, and now houses the Vatican. Mind-blowing to me!

When does this kingdom come? Coming now as we speak by our actions, the way we treat others, our love, our "fruit".

How is this related to Mark 1:15? ("The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!") Turn from our wicked ways and be kind. Believe Jesus and His teachings.

When will it destroy all other kingdoms? The "kingdom of Satan" is evil, hate, greed, ****; things we are seeing acted out by groups such as ISIS and those in power -warmongers. When will He come and all turn to Him? No man knows. Soon, we hope!!! ~

Daniel 2:44 teaches us about the last kingdom which will last forever.  That kingdom is certainly the kingdom of Christ as He has promised to return and establish it.

When Jesus Christ returns, He will wipe out the glory and values of the previous kingdom and renew the earth.

Jesus Christ's Kingdom will consist only of people who believe in Him and have been baptised to become His faithful followers. (Mark 1:15)

We are probably living in the End Time period because our world today has a ruling authority which holds both political power and spiritual power.  Those two powers are just like iron and clay as per description of the feet of the statue in Daniel 2:43.  Jesus Christ will be returning any time to fulfil His promise and the fulfilment of the events recorded in the book of Revelation.
