Brother Ralph, I really like the way that you help us review the lesson with the questions that you ask at the end and also the prayer. These lessons are about something so wonderful and exciting to look forward to. It's such a shame that we get so excited about todays news headlines and spend hours talking to others about it, but often fall short in sharing the GOOD NEWS...One of the real challenges of studying Holy Scripture is separating the literal from the figurative without creating an argumentative spirit. I think you do a good job of explaining it ..like the 144,000....JESUS died for the sins of the whole world, but that does not mean the whole world will be saved..(John 3:16)..."that whosoever believeth in HIM shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

It says in Scripture that toward the end of the Great Tribulation, when all seems hopeless, the whole nation of Isreal will turn to JESUS and be saved...(perhaps the 144,000 represent the "first fruits" of this GREAT REVIVAL...some from every tribe (12 tribes)...( 12 Apostles ...all Jewish...including the Apostle Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles)

The significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion is that He has conquered the world and that He is in charge. The 144,000 people that are with him and those who believed in him and worshiped him during their lifetime. The significance of the Lamb’s and the Father’s names being written on our foreheads means that we belong to him.

Day 13 Meditation (Revelation 14:1).

What is the significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion? As you stated Zion represents God's Holy City, the place were God lives and the fact that the New Jerusalem is coming down from Heaven is telling us the Lamb is with us.

Who are these 144,000 people with him? These are those who have been sealed by the Holy Spirit.

What is the significance of the Lamb's and the Father's names written on their foreheads? It is a declaration of ownership. The fact that they both have signed it, to me, makes that declaration so powerful. Like they are saying, 'You are mine, and don't you forget it'

The antichrist, the serpent that deceived Adame and Eve, always falsely claims what is God's and never repents. He claims to sit high and has forgotten that it is creation of God.

So what Jesus, the slain lamb, has done for us is to reclaim or liberty from the false kingdom of satan, and by appearing on mount Zion He once and for all declared that He has seated us with Him in the highest place where He sits in the eternal temple.

So, at the end time when the beast tries in vain to overtake what is for God, His/Jesus' redeemed people by His blood/the lamb, His name is significant as it is the name above all names in heaven, on earth and beneath it to destroy the work of our enemy who wants to take our lives and separate us from God as he did in Eden to Adame and Eve. Thank you Jesus. I praise your name for ever and ever. Amen.

Day 13 Meditation (Revelation 14:1).

What is the significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion? The significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, for me, it says that wherever the Lamb stands I will be with Him, as a blood washed, in the presence of God.

Who are these 144,000 people with him?  The 144,000 people with the Lamb are those who have been purchased by the blood of the Lamb, the saints of God.

What is the significance of the Lamb’s and the Father’s names written on their foreheads? The significance of the Lamb's and the Father's names written of the foreheads is the seal that distinguishes God's children.  The seal will show God's ownership and those with the seal will be protected from any plagues, disease or harm.

1. What is the significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion?

Mount Zion is where our faith began when Abraham, in obedience, took his only son Isaac to offer him as a sacrifice...a type and shadow of our Father sacrificing His only begotten Son  our Savior Jesus  on that mount . Mt Zion is where Grace (Jesus death and our salvation) replaced obedience to the Law (and bloodl sacrifices) given at Mt. Sinai during the Exodus. Jesus standing there,  in now the New Jersusalem, the Heavenly city come down from Heaven, gloriously victorious over all the work of the enemy,  and all His work on earth successfully completed! What a glorious sight to imagine!!! What Joy that the Jews have  finally completed the work they eschewed 2,000 years ago.

2. Who are these 144,000 people with Him?

They are the Jews who during the years of Tribulation,  newly born again and zealously evangelized the earth for Jesus.

3. What is the significance of the Lamb's and the Father's names written on their foreheads?

Jews  have rejected Jesus as their Messiah since He walked with them on earth and died for them...for all mankind. Now they have both the Father and Jesus' names written on their foreheads, indicating  they have received Him as their Savior prior to their deaths. Completion....Father and Son together with the chosen people in unity, home at last.

Day 13 Meditation (Revelation 14:1).
What is the significance of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion?
Who are these 144,000 people with Him?
What is the significance of the Lamb's and the Father's names written on their foreheads?

Jesus is standing in heaven itself. The Mount Zion referred to here is the new city of Jerusalem in heaven. Here the vision written about in Zeph 3 is seen fulfilled with all God’s chosen people, gathered out of the nations, being together with Jesus. Psalm 125:1 mentions the Mount Zion which cannot be shaken and endures forever. Again Heb 12:22 calls the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God.
The number 144,000 is not to be taken literally. It stands symbolically for all God’s elect who have been chosen before creation. As Christians, we are citizens of the heavenly Jerusalem right now; because Christ rules our lives, and the Holy Spirit is always with us.
The fact that they have Christ’s name and the Father’s name on their foreheads indicates that they belong to Him. They are all there, and not one is missing just as Jesus promised (John 6:39). Christ and the elect in glory. Just to think that everyone the Father gave to Christ will be saved and kept until the resurrection of the just, when they would be raised and taken home to heaven! Praise the LORD.

The Lamb is none other Jesus Christ the Lord and He is the one who is standing on Mount Zion and He will split Mount Zion when He is on it. The 144,000 witnesses are the 12,000 set aside from each tribe of Israel. The significance is the fact that they chose to become to part of the family of God.

Mountains are a very spiritual place.  In Old Testament mountains were used as altars and temples.  Perhaps it is the coming of a huge temple or a huge church.  It is rare to be able to operate at the higher spiritual elevations at that level.  The Mountain creates an emotional and spiritual experience if felt at that great atmosphere. it is  of spiritual enlightenment.
