Q1. (John 15:1-8) Why do we need to abide in Jesus? The fruit from branches connected to a vine is the grape. What is the nature of the fruit that comes from being connected to Jesus? Is it accurate to define fruit as “souls saved”? What is the danger in this definition?

Because He is our personal savior and is also our mediator to God.  Fruit connected to Jesus Christ is the good fruit.  Produced by righteous people who are God fearing Christians who do the commandments.  Yes, the good fruit is what God wants on both earth and heaven now and the new earth and heaven that He will create in the future after judgment day.  Fruit can become corrupt by the devil if they are tricked by him.  Then become rebellious non-Christians and fall out of Christianity.

Q1. (Mark 1:33-39) What pattern do you see emerging in Jesus’ prayer life? Why do you think he spends Quiet Time with the Father before the day begins? How does this prepare him for his ministry? Why does Jesus minster through the power of the Spirit instead of in his own power?

It is becoming more difficult for Jesus to pray to His Father uninterrupted because of all the multitude of people seeking Him.  Yet, He still goes away from crowds to a mountain or other desolate places.  Because Jesus Christ is finishing the work that God sent Him to finish.  God gives Jesus power to work all the miracles for the day and what to speak to the people for the day.  Because it’s the Holy Ghost that has God’s plan for Jesus Christ to work.

Q1. Is it legitimate to use Jesus as our example in the use of spiritual gifts? Or was he so different than we are that we can’t pattern our ministry after his example? Where do you see the gift of knowledge in the Old Testament? In the New Testament?

Absolutely it is alright to use Jesus Christ as an example, He is the perfect example. He had all of the spiritual gifts and never failed at doing anything.  We should try to be more like Jesus, even though we will never be as Holy as He is as the only begotten Son of God.  God in the Old Testament is showing His Devine knowledge throughout the entire Old Testament.  He chose the people He wanted to be prophets, kings, and wise men.  The gift of knowledge continues in the New Testament as Jesus Christ’s knowledge of God’s is used to ward off the devil.  Then Jesus used His knowledge to minister to the people and to lead them.

Q1. (Romans 8:9-11; John 14:23) Do people who aren’t Christians have Christ living within them? In what Person do Christ and the Father make their home in us? What should you do to make them feel “at home” in you? How is the Home Analogy like the Temple Analogy. How might it differ? How does the Spirit living within you affect your holiness of life? Your witness to others? Your spiritual power?

No they don’t, because they are denying Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The people that have a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost as well.  Be kindhearted, teach them about God and His love.  Pray for them, love them.  They both bring us closer to God.  The temple is a sacred place and God takes His temple very serious.  It guides us through life through the easy times and the hard times, it refines us.  We have to set examples to other believers.  It shows the world that we belong to Christ and God.

Q4. Who sends the Holy Spirit? The Father or Jesus? Does it matter?

Both can send the Holy Ghost because of the unity of the Holy Trinity.  God sent the Holy Ghost to Jesus Christ when He was on earth, for times He would really need it, like when the devil tempted Jesus.  The Bible says Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost was led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.  Jesus promised His disciples that He would not leave them comfort less He would send the comforter the Holy Ghost to them.  I don’t think it matters if God or Jesus sends the Holy Ghost to you, because the Holy Ghost does not change, nor does God or Jesus for they are Holy and there is no sin in anywhere  in the Holy Trinity.

Q3. (Luke 3:22; 4:1, 14a; 4:18-19; 5:17b; 10:21; Acts 10:38a) Did Jesus do miracles by reason of being the unique Son of God, or by means of the power of the Holy Spirit upon him? Why is this important for us as his disciples? In what ways does Jesus serve as our example in ministry?

By both being the Son of God and the power of the Holy Ghost in Him.  God was with Him always as well as the Holy Ghost for the three are one.  This concept is hard for us to understand, but it is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.  They always have unity and never disagree with each other for they are one.  God wanted to make sure He will destroy the devil and evil for ever when Jesus Christ died on the cross.  A innocent man unjustly accused by a traitor, a devil Judas Iscariot.   It’s important for us to know that Jesus is with us for He gave His apostles power over the enemy and the power to cure infirmities.  Jesus Christ said to His apostles, you could do nothing without me.  Jesus set the perfect example as a true leader, a Holy man, with power over all evil, He fed thousands with just a few loaves of bread and a few small fish and He did that on two separate occasions.  He cured all kinds of sicknesses, He made the blind to see.  He’s the Lord.  Amen

Q2. (John 5:19; Philippians 2:6-7) What does Jesus’ statement, “the Son can do nothing by himself,” indicate about his relationship with the Father? Why did Jesus have to “empty himself” from his heavenly glory when he became a man?

Jesus Christ always said my Father does the works, it was Jesus’s faith that gave Him the power to do miracles.  As He said the Son can do nothing by Himself, but the things He see’s the Father do He will do likewise.   It indicates how Jesus Christ had unity with the Father and that He was not of this world, but came from Heaven, to finish the works God sent Him to finish. Because He is more than a man, He is the Son of God our Lord and Savior.  Jesus had the faith and the works that prove He’s Devine.  He came from Heaven to become a man like one of us, He humbled Himself being the Son of God to a mortal man.  Who now is immortal, and will never die again for He is alive for evermore.

Q1. (Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:20; Luke 3:21-22) In what ways is the Holy Spirit active in establishing Jesus’ core identity as Son of God as Jesus came to earth? How does the Holy Spirit establish your core identity as a disciple of Jesus?

When the angel Gabriel informs Mary that the Holy Ghost will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.  That Holy thing shall be called the Son of God.  When Jesus was being Baptized by John the Baptist, the Holy Ghost in the shape of a dove was upon Him and God spoke and said you are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  The Holy Ghost is a great and powerful ally when we are battling sin.  The Holy Ghost leads us and keeps us safe from evil.  When Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil, He was full of the Holy Ghost.  Our Lord Jesus Christ had to be full of the Holy Ghost to rebuke Satan and the great temptations he offered Jesus.  After Jesus Christ had been tempted by Satan, angels came and ministered to Him because it probably took a lot out of Him.  The devil is by no means powerless, that’s a trick he’s very smart and cunning.  He knows what’s in man and the desires of people, for don’t forget that one third of the angels followed Satan and are now demons.

Q3. Based on John’s vision of the Bride, the Holy City, in Revelation 21, how would you describe in your own words the glory we will experience?

It will be like nothing we’ve ever seen in this world.  Streets of gold, 12 different valuable stones.  The names of the twelve tribes of Israel, the names of Jesus’s twelve apostles on the twelve foundations of the Holy City.  And that Holy City will be like a bride adorning for her husband.  There will be no more darkness, for the Glory of God and the Lamb of God will lighten up the city.   And God will be a Father to those that are saved, and we will be sons and daughters to Him.   And the gates of the City will always be opened and never shut.  Also no evil will exist there, for those that have done bad and did not repent or have any remorse will be in the lake of fire and brimstone tormented for ever!!

Q2. (2 Timothy 2:12a) What does it mean to “rule and reign” with Christ now, in this life? What do you think it will mean after Christ returns? How does this relate to our theme of the Glorious Kingdom?

With reigning with Christ comes suffering as the Lord Jesus Christ suffered for us, but He also reigns.  The wicked bow before the righteous, God even said it, tread down the wicked in their place.  We reign with Christ in that He has made an everlasting covenant with us in His flesh and blood.   When Christ returns, He will be so glorious He will light up the earth with the brightness of His coming.  We shall rule and reign with Him as promised and was prophesied.  His Kingdom is not of this world but Heaven, which when He returns in the Glory of God, and His own Glory and of the holy angels.

Q1. What does Matthew 24:30-31 tell us will happen when Christ returns? How does this relate to Daniel’s prophecy of the Son of Man?

Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in Heaven.  Then all of the tribes of the earth mourn for they have refused Him.  They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory.  And He shall send His angels with the sound of a great trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other.  Daniels Son of man is synonymous with this glorious happening.   In the book of Daniel, he speaks of the Son of man coming in the clouds with power and great glory.

Q4. (Matthew 6:10) In what sense are we to rule and reign in Christ’s Kingdom administration now, in this life? What would your world be like if a majority of believers took this seriously? What do you think ruling and reigning with Christ will consist of after he returns?

We represent Christ by doing good deeds, charity, meekness, gentleness, mercy, love.  We should share the Word of God to those that need it, the wicked bow before the righteous.  The world would be a more peaceful place to be in.  There wouldn’t be so many hate crimes.  People would live peacefully with each other, just look at the example Jesus Christ showed us, even though the world hated Him He was peaceful all the way to His death on the cross.  We will reign with Him in His Heavenly Glory, peaceful goodwill towards one another.  Evil won’t exist anymore, the devil and his angels and his slaves will be in torment in the lake of fire and brimstone.

Q3. (Ephesians 1:20-22; 2:6) Jesus’ apostles were given spiritual authority from Jesus to carry out their ministries. What is the basis of your spiritual authority? Why do you think we believers neglect to exercise our God-given Kingdom authority?

My faith has been tested time and time again, my spiritual authority is based on Jesus Christ the Lord of Glory.  I have overcome the devil every time he’s tried to get me, my guardian angels have always been there for me.  Really it’s God sending His angels to protect me.  I think because sometimes are unsure of what powers we have been given and don’t want to be mocked if we can’t perform a miracle.  But and if we can’t perform a miracle, there are other powers God has given us.

Q2. (2 Corinthians 4:5-12) Why does a believer’s suffering make his or her witness more credible to the world? Why do you think Paul contrasts “jars of clay” with “all-surpassing power”? What is the “treasure” that is contained within us? How does this differ from the New Age truism of “believe in yourself”?

Because they have had experience in suffering for the Lord.  People can tell a true believer from a fake one if they have the wisdom to discern the difference between the two.  It’s the power of God in our earthly vessels through Christ.  The Holy Ghost is the treasure inside ourselves, He guides us through life and teaches us what to say and how to say it.  You should believe in God more than you believe in yourself because God knows all, and will never abandon His children.

Q1. (Matthew 5:14-16) In what sense are we the “light of the world”? What does it mean to let your light shine? What kinds of character and actions in a believer’s life bring glory to the Father? Why were we created to do good works? (Ephesians 2:10)

Jesus said we are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill can not be hidden.  To let your light shine is to glorify our Heavenly Father by doing good deeds.  Do good and your whole body will be full of light, but and if your deeds are evil your whole body will be full of darkness.  The eyes are the light of the body.  Charity, do all of the Ten Commandments, be meek, gentle, love your enemies, bless those that curse you,  be kindhearted to all people, all of these things the Lord God loves.  We are God’s creation and He loves us.  Christ prays for us, and if we don’t do good works we are not glorifying God.

Q4. (Psalm 63; Philippians 3:7-19) What increases one’s hunger for God? What tends to deplete this hunger? What would it take for your hunger for God to be renewed to great intensity? How might fasting help in this process?

The rewards that come to those that seek Him out, and the great reward in Heaven if we are found worthy to be written into the book of life.  Sometimes it feels like God doesn’t care about us or that He has abandoned us.  That’s just how God operates, He has given us intelligence and wisdom the second being more important.    If we find ourselves in a rut, He wants to see how we will get out, the best way is always to turn to our Heavenly Father.  A push from the Almighty God, just a little one and He knows how to get our attention.  Fasting might help us regain our zest for God if we are lacking, because He will see that we are fasting and He will reward us openly as Jesus Christ said.

Q3. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) In what way do our “light, momentary afflictions” achieve for us an “eternal weight of glory”? Suffering can make a person bitter or better. How can suffering work God’s character in your life?

They build our spirit’s stronger and stronger in the Lord.  When we are afflicted by something, we should turn to God and pray to Him.  When we pray to God, then He can work His miracles in us or through us.  Suffering is something that everyone goes through, and it’s not fun at all, some can’t handle it.  Some people will become bitter at God blaming Him, while the wise people will learn from their suffering and grow in faith.  While suffering is not fun at all, it builds our souls stronger in the Lord.  God doesn’t necessarily want us to suffer, it’s just a part of life.  We will either grow stronger in faith or reject the Lord which is the wrong thing to do.

Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person?

The Holy Ghost leads us in the direction God wants us to go in.  The true believer will grow in faith with more and more exposure to God’s presence.  God wants His children to grow in faith in Him, and He helps us grow constantly if the believer has the desire to grow.  Many believers remain spiritual infants because they put limits on God, I see it every day.  Like someone with a disease that generally can’t be treated by doctors, that person will be like “Oh, I’ll never get better”, nonsense God could heal them instantly if they only had the faith.  There is a woman in my Church who has a disease of the lungs, I asked her what’s your name I’m going to pray for you.  She told me Deborah, and stated that she will always be sick, no, no, no that’s lack of faith Jesus Christ could heal her instantly with His mighty healing power.  When we get deep exposure to God we grow in faith in Him, and He gives us all power over the enemy the devil.  Like in Malachi 4:1-6, I won’t write the whole verses but paraphrase.  God says to those who fear my name you shall grow up as calves of the stall, and you shall tread down the wicked for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I do this saith the Lord of hosts.  You can never get enough of God if you really love Him and His promises.

To see and experience His Devine Glory, beauty, majesty, power, light, and peace.  Yes, I have experienced and seen His Glory and it’s beyond comprehension.  I see Jesus’s Glory on a daily basis, for the whole world is full of God’s Glory, there is no other.  Search the beauty of all He has created the mountains, valleys, animals, other humans, other countries, even the hidden things of God.  Since we are under the firmament, we can only look up into the sky.  In the firmament His Glory is even greater the nine orders of angelic beings Seraphim’s, Cherubim’s, Thrones, Dominion’s, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangel’s, Angel’s all behold God’s Glory always.  These nine orders of angelic beings are beautiful and also Heaven is Glorious through and through.  There is terrible majesty with God.  No flesh can see God for He is too Holy for that to happen.

Q4. According to Daniel 7:14, what is the extent of the Son of Man’s authority? Of his glory? How is the use of Jesus’ name in prayer and command a form of delegating his power? How much power do we have in Jesus’ name? What limits the exercise of this power?

His authority is unlimited and everlasting, that all nations, and languages , should serve Him.   His glory is the same unlimited and everlasting that shall not pass away, and His dominion and Kingdom shall not passed away nor destroyed.  Jesus said anything that you ask in my name God will give to you.  If it’s God’s will it will be done, Jesus Christ also said have faith in God.  If you have the faith of a grain of mustard seed you shall say to this mountain be removed and placed over there, and nothing shall be impossible to you.   It is showing Jesus Christ’s power when He is telling people to ask the Father for anything in His name.  We have unlimited power in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But we must believe and not doubt and we shall have whatsoever we desire if it’s in God’s will. The only thing that limits this power is that it has to be in the will of God, a lot of times we pray and don’t receive, but that’s not because God wasn’t listening or is ignoring us.  Many times God is saying I have something better for you, God see’s the whole picture He knows past, present, and future.  So if you pray and don’t receive, don’t give up on God, you’ll find you pray for something else and it shall be your’s in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Q3. How is Jesus’ glory displayed in his trial and crucifixion? In his resurrection? How do you think the thief on the cross and the centurion supervising the crucifixion could see his glory? Why is God’s glory often seen in the midst of suffering?

In the ways He answers Pontious Pilate with wisdom to the extent that Pilate really wants to release Him.  In Matthew 26:53-54 Jesus says basically that He could pray to God and His Father would give Him more than 12 legions of angels, but He says how will the scriptures be fulfilled and they must be.  When He was being mocked and crucified He says Father forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing, that’s bravery.  In His resurrection because He overcame death and is alive forevermore.  The thief on the cross next to Him said don’t forget me Lord when you go to your Kingdom, Jesus responds today you shall be in paradise with me, that’s glory.  The centurion saw the earthquake, and how the veil of the temple was broke in two from top to bottom.   Graves were opened and many bodies of the saints that slept arose and came out of the graves and appeared to many.  Because God is able to work His greatest acts when there is suffering, He can comfort after a time of suffering.  God builds people stronger after they go through suffering, He can then give them comfort.

Q1. (John 1:1-5, 14) When did Jesus glory and kingly authority have their origins? In what sense were they hidden while he was on earth? In what sense were they still present?

It always existed for Jesus Christ is self existing like God, they are one.  All things were made by Him and without Him nothing would have been made.  When Jesus Christ was on earth He had to look human which He fully was but also the Son of God.  His full glory wasn’t shone because He had to look like other people, not a diety.  Well, He still performed wonderous miracles that had people dumbfounded.  He spoke to the people as one who had authority not like the scribes or Pharisees.  I also think there was a halo shining on Him always, like so many pictures of Him have.

Q2. How is Jesus’ glory displayed through his transfiguration and miracles?

Through the transfiguration His face shone as the sun and His garments turned white as snow glistening.  He was glorious and majestic to His inner circle of apostles Peter, James, and John.  Through miracles because His miracles couldn’t be explained by science they were beyond people’s understanding.  How could a man walk on water??  It’s impossible through science, but Jesus Christ had the faith and made the impossible possible.  He raised the dead, He cleansed the lepers, He opened the eyes of the blind, He cast out all devils even the legion(2000 devils) just by saying go, and He preached to the people with authority they had never experienced before.

Q4. Is the Kingdom of God present now? In what sense? What are the present limitations of this Kingdom’s power, if any? When will the Kingdom of God be fully manifest to all?

Yes, the whole world is full of His Glory but not as much as the Kingdom of Heaven.  God works miracles everyday, God is so creative we can’t even begin to grasp how powerful and creative and glorious He really is.  The limitations now are that sin exists in this world, we can’t help it we all make mistakes but not God.  Part of the reason sin exists is because of Satan’s temptations, he knows what’s in man and he uses it to tempt us continually.  When Christ comes back riding on the clouds  with all of the holy angels.  Then that’s it for the evil people as the angels are the reapers and they shall come forth and sever the wicked from among the just and shall cast them into a furnace of fire.  Then Satan is bound for a thousand years, then after the thousand years he is unlosed to gather his slaves from Gog and Magog to attack the holy city, then fire comes out of the mouth of God and destroys them all.  Then Satan, who is also know as the devil is cast alive into the lake of fire and brimstone to be tormented day and night for ever.  Then finally all evil will be gone and God will create a new Heaven and earth where no evil will exist.  Then God will be our Father like He already is but we will be with him and he will take away all pain, and crying, then His Kingdom will be manifested to all of us written into the book of life.
