  1. The Parable of the Lost Sheep is one of the parables of Jesus. It appears in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. It is about a shepherd who leaves his flock of ninety-nine sheep in order to find the one which is lost. It is the first member of a trilogy about redemption that Jesus tells after the Pharisees and religious leaders accuse him of welcoming and eating with "sinners

  3.  The parables of the lost coin and the lost sheep are stories that teach about God's love and repentance The parables describe how much God cares for the sinner and how much He wants them back. Jesus teaches that God seeks out sinners by grace to lead them to repentance. The parables do not teach that God accepts everyone's behavior The charge to Church members is to join those seeking diligently until the lost sheep and coins are found and to watch and wait with open arms and hearts for prodigals to return.

  4. To be saved means to be rescued from something undesirable. In a spiritual sense, it means to be rescued from sin and its consequences, which include eternal punishment in hell To be saved, one must confess that they are a sinner and need a Savior, and believe in Jesus Christ as the one who died for their sins and gives them eternal life. Being saved does not mean being free from earthly troubles, but it does mean being seen as righteous in the eyes of God

  5. Grace means that God showered favor and blessing on those who did not in any way deserve or earn it. They deserved His judgment and wrath. But He showed them favor. God’s pure grace gets polluted from two sides. On the one side, grace runs counter to the way the world works, so it’s difficult for us to grasp it and get used to it.

    Sin demolishes grace
God is not expecting anything from us, just our love and worship,
We can’t make it to heaven on our own

Grace is like getting a present you don’t deserve. It’s a gift that someone gives you just because they love you.

  6. Satan knows our weak spots. He knows where we sin easily. He knows if we are tempted to pride; he knows if we are tempted to anger; he knows if we are tempted to be slothful—and he uses those weaknesses.

By not knowing God. By not submitting to the Holy Spirit as our teacher and guide.

The devil can convince you that religion in only important up to a point and that you don’t need to be zealous. You don’t need to put yourself out there for it

  7. A person who is segregated from God is spiritually dead even though physically alive. Unless God intervenes such people live at the mercy of the devil and the cravings of their sinful nature. Only when God opens their eyes to the truth can people find salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and become spiritually alive.

As believers we should help the non-believers of God’s word and explain God’s plan

  8. That we as believers will comprehend the blessings that are theirs in Christ. Their future hope. Gods inheritance in the saints and their power in Christ. The inheritance here is not the Christians  inheritance but God’s. This indicates how precious his people are to God. they are so to speak what he looks toward to enjoying forever
    Hope and eternity

Our lives have changed because we have been promised eternal life

We have reason for hope, confidence, fulfillment

    We have been called

  10. The old heavens and earth will be destroyed. The new heavens and earth will be a new beginning  for Jerusalem, the home of the righteousness. The old will be forgotten

A place to rejoice, no sin, no wars, no more sorrow

v.19: No more will the sound of weeping be heard, nor the cry of distress. v 20: No premature death. v23: No more sudden terror or calamity.

Isaiah 65:24 “Before they call I will answer;while they are yet speaking I will hear.

  11. They experienced God’s mercy in delivering them from Egypt and bringing them to the Promised Land. this kindness shows Isaiah that he can have faith in God to save his sinful people

Isaiah laments the long-standing patterns of sin among God’s people, like who is unclean, a polluted garment are all righteous acts. God will overlook our righteousness when we are sinful and unclean

    God is our father

We can’t save ourselves, but our salvation comes only as a result of God’s grace.

  12. The Jews will be righteous, honorable holy. They will be restored
    Future blessings

    Yes, Christians will be included.

The watchman here seem to be looking for the return of the Lord in Jerusalem and will not rest until they see Him. people are urged to pray until this takes place.  The original fulfillment, of course, was the return of the Jews from Babylon  but the ultimate fulfillment will come when Messiah Jesus returns God promises peace and restoration to Jerusalem which we must continue to pray for in the Last Days.

Your Kingdom come You will be done.

  13. When our hearts are tender toward the Lord, sin will bother us. It will make a tender heart uncomfortable in the presence of the Lord causing it to repent. Just as sinning clogs up your spirit and prevents prayer from flowing, repentance opens your spirit so that prayer can return.
Repentance separates us from God. He won’t hear us if we continue our sins

Verse 2 is talking about us the people
Sins create a barrier between God and his people

It can be corrected by praying
