  1. First, as a minister of the Gospel we must agree that we have been given His authority. There is confusion where some do not believe they have this authority or refuse to exercise it (MINIMIZE IT) for whatever reasoning. God's revelation is decidedly our authority to practice our faith ...to go and tell.

Straying or superseding from Gods authority will, many times bring immediate correction from God. Immediate or delayed correction from God is not a desirable goal for anyone. Beyond the personal consequence, we may hurt or destroy the faith of others - DON'T do this.

Denial of God's revelation within the church body reduces or stops the administration of God's will there

  2. First, Gods Spirit will not stay where He is not wanted. We are to Love God and love each other. When either does not occur as it was meant to we hinder or grieve Gods Spirit. This is, at times, a problem in congregations.

When someone needing Christ enters Gods church and senses little faith or hypocrisy we could cause a situation where God cannot minister to them.

We must strive for unity and harmony in all of our relationships as believers (vertical/horizontal)

  3. God's Word (written and living - John 8) transforms our mind and equips us as His saints. When we believe, we will be transformed and we then are truly 'one' with and spiritually seated with Him at His banquet table.

God's transforming Word sets me Free (John 8) and elevates me above the powers of my flesh. Walking in His spirit is so peaceful and freeing. Being alive in Christ really means everything to me.

God's Grace allows me to sit with Him - in heaven? These words seem so matter of fact, yet it this is really an 'inconceivable' thought when you ponder it. Praying to our Abba Father, the Creator, Lord of Lords - only by God's Grace can these 'inconceivable' thoughts be true.

  4. God is Love and His Grace is sufficient for all change we need in our life. We have been made alive in Christ, Romans 6 says ...what we shall we do, go on sinning? We have been buried with Christ, in baptism (not saved) and we have been raised in newness.

We must allow God (believe faithfully) to transform us. He promises to 'wash us with His Word. God will make us alive with Christ. I have never been and felt SO alive - ever.

  5. First, we all pray that every believer is 'making' a difference. The world condition indicates the body of Christ has much work to do in this area. People still spiritually dead have not accepted or believed that Jesus Christ is God's Son and confessed this fact, and are not born again. They will continue forever ...separated from God's Love and everyone in Heaven. This breaks my heart and I am trying to do something about it the rest of my life.

  6. We are uneasy, or afraid. We do not trust God - or we would not pass. Prove me wrong. Not a mean-spirited statement, a challenge to me and to everyone who reads this. Paul strengthens my faith. The saints in the bible are men and women like us, only with God-sized faith. Praise God for each of them! Paul encourages the church to be what God intends it to be.

Gods creation does precisely what God created it to do - all of it except us... Today's study really has been an encouragement, thank you.

  7. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

God has graciously been busy as He sets me FREE from the habits formed out of my former life. ...Those old bad behaviors that came from my bad thinking. God has and continues to cleanse me with His Word. God's Word 'washes' - it is REAL brain-washing, Godly brain-washing!!

Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, Oh how we DO love to proclaim it. I would be dead or near death without Gods Love. Do you know someone who is a "dead person walking?" Help them.

I know my life is filled with love of family and friends that would never have been revealed to me without Gods redemptive plan. I know God in new and exciting ways that give me hope in this world and of course our Eternal Hope. Spending time with God in prayer and study each day is amazing. Praise God!

  8. To sum up the significance of being under Jesus Christ reminds me of a verse from Revelation committed to memory years ago. (My words) ..."Worthy is the Lamb ...to receive all power, wealth, wisdom and strength, honor, glory, and praise". Repeating this verse falling asleep, usually brings great nights sleep.

Unity within our churches is suspect if we look closely at what God is calling us to be and to do. Obedience is probably the number one problem in our churches. God calls disobedience sin.

1 Corinthians 15:24-28 take me back to the scripture from Rev 5.

  9. Ralph, you use the word "sense" to describe being redeemed. God has graciously been busy as He sets me FREE from the habits formed out of my former life. ...Those old bad behaviors that came from my bad thinking. God has and continues to cleanse me with His Word. God's Word 'washes' - it is REAL brain-washing, Godly brain-washing!!

How has God redeemed each of us? We are justified and redeemed instantly ...and over the course of our life all at the same time. Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, Oh how we DO love to proclaim it. I would be dead or near death without Gods Love. Do you know someone who is a "dead person walking?"

I know my life is filled with love of family and friends that would never have been revealed to me without Gods redemptive plan. I know God in new and exciting ways that give me hope in this world and of course our Eternal Hope. Spending time with God in prayer and study each day is amazing. Praise God!

  10. Each believer stands blameless, boldly before God through the blood of Jesus Christ. What a marvelous thought, and fact. We were justified at Calvary, through faith in Jesus. He is the One. While this is true, Sanctification is also real. Our daily walk with God is so important to our personal holiness.

We should allow God to transform us through His Word. Our daily bread (prayer & study ...this study included) is a key to my faith. Obedience is the key to holiness!

  11. I'm Ken, currently residing on the Oregon Coast. I was a North American Missionary in the Northwest. Still doing that work a little but recently married Linda after losing my wife in 1999. I study a lot and fill the pulpit some sundays and teach Wed nights. God is SO good all the time.
