  1. Q4. (1:13-14) These verses contain two analogies: (1) seal and (2) downpayment, with the balance to be paid in a lump sum at the end of the term. When does the "end of the term" occur? How do these analogies help explain how the Holy Spirit functions in our lives?

Seal mean in ancient world four purposes (1) The Holy Spirit is like a notary public today uses his or her seal to guarantee the genuineness of a signature. (2) A seal was used to mark ownership ,as the Holy Spirit comes into our lives and lives in us ,he marks us as belonging to Christ. (3) A seal was used to protect against tampering or harm as we do today by putting locks on boxes. ity is what the Holy Spirit does. to us.(4) A seal was used to indicate the transaction was completed as we do today when we put our signature on a document.

The Holy Spirit is the earnest money or down payment that guarantees the full payment of our inheritance in the future. the analogies help explain how the holy spirit functions in our lives? the Holy Spirit is the spirit of adoption sonship through this phase of the spirit in the life of a believer is the first payment or first measure of the spirit and of our inheritance untilthe fulness of the spirit is received andthe fulness of redemption is complete. And the end of the term occur,to me a symbol of the eternal fellowship we will have with God and with the children of God through all eternity.

  2. Q3. (Ephesians 1:11-12) According to verses 11 and 12, what is God's purpose for our lives? What do we need to do to fulfill this purpose? How does this purpose relate to Matthew 5:13-16?

His purpose for us is all the promises and blessings are in jesus christ are still for believers today. To be sealed with the Holy Spirit which was promised.

We because the salt of the earth leaveing people to God,and a lights of divinity in the social system of men and woman and childern.our life is to glorify

    God.

  3. Q2. (Ephesians 1:9-10) What is the significance that all things will be brought under one head -- Christ himself? How does this relate to the Creator? What does it say about unity? Extra Credit: How does this verse relate to 1 Corinthians 15:24-28?

to me when all enemies will be put downand all creation united in one asbefore rebellion by lucifer and later by adam.God is making jews and gentiles

one new body to demonstrate to the principalities and powers in heavenly places joint partakers. the son will continue to reign under the father forever

after the earthis rid of all rebellion whichmade it necessary for them to take separate parts in the creation and redemption of all things.

  4. Q1. (Ephesians 1:7) In what sense have you been "redeemed" from slavery? What do you think your life up to now would have been like if you hadn't been redeemed? What would your future be like without redemption, do you think?
My sin was dismissed with i give my life to Jesus who bought me on the slave market of sin and he set me free. Because i have redemption through his blood. and if i hadn't been redeemed. i would be dead ,with no future, with out Jesus.
  5. Q4. (Ephesians 1:5-6) Why is adoption a particularly apt illustration of God's relationship to us? Why is the concept of adoption encouraging to us?

[/q To me i believeGod have predestined us to be adoptedas his sons.in the new testament pictures of what Godhas done for us.Jesus came into the world to wipe out the divisions to remove the tension and to close the gaps that separate us from God.we have all the right as the adopted in the ancient world all the right of a legitimate son in his own family.

  6. Q2. (Ephesians 1:4-5) What is scary about predestination? What is comforting? Why does Paul bring up predestination? Why do you think he praising God for it in the "hearing" of the Ephesians?

there isno reason to be scary of God words. am vetry much at ease and quiet enjoyment to be in the present of God.because here God has predestinationed all children of God to be adopted intoHis family but who becomes a child of God is left up to each of us individual.and by jesus christwe are adopted untyo him.becauser he see people life chang.
