  1. There was much opposition to Paul's ministry because there were so many converts to Christianity, many jews believing and leaving the Temple. He kept preaching to reach as many as he could. He had a great zeal for the Gospel. He always had his eye on the prize not on the circumstances. We can learn much from Paul's example. No we shouldn't stop trying just because of opposition, but we need to step back and consult the Lord as to how He would have us proceed in His will and His way.

  2. Q5. (1 John 2:3-6) How can we be serious about obeying Christ without become legalistic and judgmental, with a self-righteous attitude like the Pharisees had? How do love and legalism differ? How can we be serious about obedience and make love our center?

    by loving the Lord with a sincere heart and not just obeying a list of rules.Legalism is rules,love is devotion,wanting to obey out of deep love. We can make love our center by staying focused on the cross.
