He is so frustrated that the demands of the Israel people never end along the journey and the burden seems too much for him as a single person.

The people of Israel has been too used to worship the Idols in Egyp for over 400 years and they still not really know the Lord that brought them out of Egyp.

Aaron was a weak leader and he was afraid of the huge number of Israelites that may overthrown him during absent of Moses.

It made God very disappointed and angry.

Nowadays the wealth and greed that that led people away from worship God.

  4. Q1. (Exodus 15:24) What are the reasons that people grumble and complain? How do fear and faith relate to grumbling? What symptoms of grumbling do you see in your own life? What should you do about it?

People usually complain about the unfair treatment from others, lack of trust to authority and fear of unknown situation. When I feel angry with the situation where I was in or other people's behavior that hurt me. I should control my temper and not let it out of control, and I should pray to God.

  5. Q1. (Exodus 7:6-7) Why did Moses blame God for his troubles? Why are Moses and Aaron so stubborn, do you think? Was it fear? Was it unbelief? Or both, perhaps? Why does God have to command Moses and Aaron?

Moses was called upon by God Himself and now he was blamed by the people for making troubles. Yes, he was having fear, unbelief and even confused of why he do this thing without appreciation.

The lamb itself represents Jesus Christ who die for us on the cross.

Standing after being slain indicates the resurrection of Christ who is victorious over death.

Horns represent the power of Christ.

Eyes represent the Christ see all, know all and nothing can hide from Him.

The number seven carries the idea of perfectness of the Christ

To summarize, then, the Lamb has the qualities of being of likeness of God who is almighty.

  7. Q3. Why should the words, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" (Matthew 26:28) fill us with sorrow? Why should they fill us with joy?

We feel sorrow as Jesus die for us on the cross and shed His blood to redeem us from sin. We filled with joy as our sin have been forgiven and we have become children of God as we can go directly to God and close to Him.

  8. Q1. In what way did the lambs on the first Passover protect the families of God's people? (Exodus 12) What is the primary point of comparison between the first Passover lambs and what Christ did for us as our Passover Lamb?

The blood of the lambs was used to paint on the door post and the top of the door of all the Israelites household to prevent them from angle of death to enter the house to kill the 1st born.

LIkewise, all of us today will be spared the eternal death if we have the Jesus's blood to protect us if we believe in Him as the son of God.

  9. Q1. How do you know that John the Baptist's statement about the Lamb of God refers to sacrifice? (John 1:29). How was the comprehensiveness of "sins of the world" so radical a concept?

Because lambs were commonly used by the Jews for sacrifices to obtain forgiveness for sin.therefore Lamb of God refer to the sacrifices sent by God for the atonment of our sin.

The whole world is being sinful due to Adam and Eve start to betray God and all the people of the world not doing the God's way and there if no way of get away of sins only through Jesus Christ who sacrifice on the cross to takeway all our sins so that we can be united again with God.

  10. Q1. (Genesis 29) Why do you think God allows Jacob to be tricked into 14 years of labor for two wives? What purposes do you think God is working out through these circumstances?

Apparently God want Jacob to taste what is like of being tricked by other person and also serve as a punishment to him of being a deceiver to his brother and his father. At the sametime mould him to become a good servent of God and to fulfil God's promises to his forefathers.

  11. Rebekah has no excuse to deceive her husband Issac. God gave Rebekah a prophecy that the younger will rule over the older but what Rebekah failed to remember is God doesn't need our help to fulfill His promises. He will NEVER cause us to do anything evil to see that His promises come to pass. Jacob demonstrated by manipulating Esau out of his birthright that he understood the importance of receiving such a blessing for their father. We assume that because Jacob spent more time closer to the home and his mother that she had to have told Jacob what God told her. Because Jacob knew God's plans he should have allowed God to do His work in His time therefore he is as responsible as Rebekah is. Rebekah actually shows a lack of faith and trust in God by her actions.

I am fully agreed with your view especially the sentence "He will NEVER cause us to do anything evil to see that His promises come to pass". We should always remember that God will guide us through if we submmit to Him and do the way He like.Never take things our way against His wish.

  12. Q1. Why does the New Testament condemn Esau for selling his birthright? (Hebrews 12:16-17) What did selling the birthright represent? What does this transaction say about Esau's character and values? What does it reveal bout Jacob's character and values?

Selling birthright is like throwing away the future in life only to satisfy the current need. Esau was shortsighted in his life and never look forward to his future. We are also same as Esau, always think about near future that we can look for in this world and never look beyond to next life in haven. Jacob was also an impatient person which take life in his own hand and do not want to wait in front of God. He should know that God had prepared the future for him and what he has to do is to follow His path so that he would avoid sufferring in his life.
