  1. In what sense is Jesus the "Mediator" of a new covenant? What did he do to mediate this

Jesus is the new covenant in which he made it possible for every believer to go before the Father boldly and request their petition and forgiveness of their sins before him without having to sacrifice the shedding of blood of animals for the atonement of our sins.

Jesus did this by becoming that sacrificial lamb that he shed his blood on the cross for all mankind for the atonement of our sins.

  2. Our faith in Jesus is what keeps a Christian trusting and believing in Him.

We Christians are bombarded daily by the wiles of the devil and he will continue to distract us from the word of God if he can so believers must continue also to read and study the word of God daily and resit the devil through prayer and fasting. In James 4: 7 Submit yourselves, then to God resist the devil and he will flee. Jesus has given us the necessary tools to resist temptation by putting on the whole armor of God that will equip us in fighting temptation. Yes the atonement of Jesus Christ has redeemed us from sin but we must know that we live in a sinful world in which there are temptations out their to tempt us. Jesus was tempted by the devil when he was in the wilderness for forty days and the devil tried every temptation that he could to discourage, distract and defeat Jesus. He tempted Jesus through ****, and pride if we are in Christ we will have to endure the same temptations, however Jesus has made a way of escape, in I Corinthians 10:13 NIV. No temptation as seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful: he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. Thank you Jesus !

  3. Apostasy is were a Christian turns to rebellion, mutiny from their original faith in God their Father and confess that God's word is not true. In Matthew 24: 4-14 NIV Jesus stated, " Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you. (5) For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ and will deceive many, (6) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (7) Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (8) All these are the beginning of birth pains (sorrows). (9) Then you will be handed over to the persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. (10) At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, (11) and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. (12) Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, (13) but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (14) And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

It is impossible to restore or go back to the beggarly of doubt, unbelifeth and unrighteous sins that we were once professing however, if we have been grounded in the world of God and been truly throughly washed in the blood of the Lamb who is Jesus Christ and have put on the whole armor of God we can't be deceive in going back or profess apostasy. In Ephesians 6: 10-17 NIV (10) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (11) Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. (12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (13) Therefore put on the full whole armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (14) Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, (15) and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (16) In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (17) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

In the Parable of the Sower Jesus is saying that those who first come to him will fall by the way side or will turn back to their sinful nature if they don't hear and understand the word and become rooted and grounded in the word however those who get rooted and grounded in God's word will be able to withstand the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth which will choke their understanding and beliefth of the word of God.

The Parable of the Tares or Weeds Jesus is saying that the wheat are the saints of God or believers of God and the tares or weeds are representing the sinners or unbelievers, both are living in this world together and going to church together however some may say destroy the enemy right now which are the weeds or tares but Jesus says no you might pull up the Christians or believers with the tares, let the wheat and tares grow together or go to church together and when it is time to harvest them up which will be the rapture, collect the wheat first who will be raputre up to heaven and then destroy or burned the tares who will be cast into the lake of fire which is hell.

  4. A guarantee or surety is a promise of being secured that the promise will be guarantee, trustworthy, fulfill and will come to pass. Jesus is our guarantee under the New covenant because he paid the price that the Old Covenant could not fulfill only through the blood of animals that could not be accomplish, to take away all mankind sins only by one blood of a savior that is Jesus Christ.

  5. The reason that Jesus is able to save people "completely" because he was ordained to do so St. John 3: 16 states that "For God so loved the world that he gave his only beggotten son and whosoever beliefeth in him shall not perish but will have everlasting life." God sent Jesus into the world to save all-mankind. However there are those who have refused his salvation. Acts 4:12 states, "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. So Jesus is the "completely to the utmost" whereby we can be saved from sin and from hell."

The essential function of a priest is very important because a priest can atone for our sins by going to the Father and making intercessions for us daily, Jesus is our mediator which allows or enable us today to go before the Father boldly with our petitions and prayers. Jesus is that sacrificial lamb for the atonement of our sins.

Priest before Jesus walk on earth, could only atone an individual sins by sacrificing a animal such as a lamb or a goat... etc to appease or become spotless and faultless of their sins before God. Our priest today is Jesus and one of Jesus' main purpose or essence is to bring us before our Father blameless, faultless, and spotless and the only way an individual who can become before the Father with these attributes, being wash thoroughly in the blood of the lamb who is Jesus Christ our savior.

  6. We have this hope in knowing that we have fled from the sins of this world, death and hopelessness, for eternal life and blessings of reassurance that our high priest is our advocate, our hope and our Lord and Saviour.

Hope actively is taking hold of our inheritance and manifesting it through our faith knowing and trusting in Jesus that he will never leave us nor forsakes us is our blessed hope in Jesus. Our hope in in God who never sleeps nor slumber what ever God say is true, Romans 3:4 let God bed true but every man a liar. Our hope is the hope of God whatever God says is true and can't be a default.

That blessed hope in knowing that you are rooted and grounded in the word of God and can not be shaken from every wiles of the devil devices. This anchor that we have in Jesus let us know that we can not be deceive by the devil because we are in the care, will and hands of God.

  7. Jesus is described in Hebrew 7:26 The High Priest, holy, harmless, undefiled, seperate from sinners and made higher then the heavens.

Jesus is different from human high priest because he is the only one who can attone for all man sins and the human high priest is unable to forgive our sins, only Jesus can.

My confidence in Jesus is knowing that he paid a price for me that I could never pay for. I have the assurance also knowing that I will have eternal life with him. This world is not my home. Jesus says, "These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world, St. John 16:33.

  8. I think the writer was preferring to God's power. When we come to rest in God we are allowing the master to be in control and take full control over every situation of our lives. Apostasy means abandonment from our religious beliefth and faith in Jesus Christ however in Romans 3:23 states that, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Meaning all have sinned but we have a savior who will forgive us of our sins.

  9. I believe that the purpose of Jesus death was to bring all mankind towards the love of the Father (God). However man could not come to the Father unless he called him but when Jesus die on the Cross that allowed all mankind to have the right to become before God boldly. Mankind first had to be forgiven of their sins and by the shedding of Jesus blood that allowed mankind to be forgiven of their sins. Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blod; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

When Jesus die on the cross that sealed his mission or accomplished his mission.

One day Jesus will return and rapture his saints or the church and he will be crowned as Kings of Kings and Lord of Lords and their will be no end to his Kingdom.

By Jesus death I have eternal life and have fellowship with the Father. St. John 3:16 For God gave his only begotten son and whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but will have everlasting life.

  10. Not only Jesus suffering was manifested during his death but also through his walk on earth. Jesus suffered by being a man and all the attributes of man's sins failed upon Jesus because he came into this world as a man (flesh). His true deity was not revealed to mankind because of his man nature. I believe if Jesus could of revealed his glorious divine nature to man then his suffering would of been in vain. Every child of God will inherit everything that the Father has bestowed upon his son Jesus. Suffering was one of Gods purpose and plan for Jesus to endure for mankind salvation. In Romans 8: 17 states, And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and join-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. I Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye shall follow his steps. Both scriptures state that children of God must suffer or we will not be partakers in Jesus Christ kingdom. Suffering allows the fruit of the spirit to be manifested which causes a child of God to become fruitful and strong in Gods word and kingdom.

  11. When I take communion it gives me the assurance about my salvation, knowing that Jesus die on the cross for me and gave his body as a living sacrifice for me through the shedding of his blood for my sins. I think that signs and wonders helps established the truth of Christ's Ministry today. In the book of Joel, the prophet prophesied, AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, SAITH GOD. I WILL POUR OUT OF MY SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH: AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS. AND ON MY SERVANTS AND ON MY HANDMAIDENS I WILL POUR OUT IN THOSE DAYS OF MY SPIRIT, AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY. AND I WILL SHEW WONDERS IN HEAVEN ABOVE AND SIGNS IN THE EARTH BENEATH; BLOOD, AND FIRE, AND VAPOR OF SMOKE: THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD BEFORE THAT GREAT AND NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME: AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED JOEL 2:28-21. This passages of scriptures validate the truth of God showing through his sons and daughters that he will have it come to pass through prophesy and dreams of his glorious salvation towards all mankind through his signs and wonders.

  12. Some seed were sown in good soil or ground and some were sown in bad, If seed is sown in good ground it will produce fruit. If the word of God isn't rooted and grounded in our spirit man daily then we will drift and die spiritual; just as the seed will die if the seed isn't rooted securely and watered daily. The Christian will eventually drift away from God not intentionally but will drift slowly without knowing what happen, because the cares and worries of the world will joke the word out of him. So that is why a Christan must stay rooted and grounded in the word of God by reading the word by fasting and by praying.
