The significance of exalted Jesus walking around the lampstands shows that Jesus is the High Priest of all churches. Jesus is the living GOD. Jesus is the strength and stability of a Church. Jesus is the First and the Last. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he. Isaiah 14:4 The only eternal GOD, who is from everlasting to everlasting. We believers of church must cleanse our hands, purify our hearts, must be prepared, must be humble, must be prayerful and watchful in the church as it is the temple of the GOD and he is the High Priest.

From the scriptures, God loved Israel and gave them the promised land. He blessed them with honey,milk etc. But in return his beloved people forgot all what God had done for them and knew him not. John 3:16 says God loved the world and he wants to save his people from sins. He came to the world in flesh as Jesus Christ. To bring salvation to the world. He lived in the world and showed us how to face sufferings, how to be obedient and prayfull, to live with simplicity, perfectness, with predetermination etc., so that the world will follow him and his principles. The vision of Jesus among the lampstands, is the resurrected Christ as King, with full glory. His divine state is seen in the Revelation.

Almost all countries are at a place of persecution. The country where I am working now was a place of severe persecution. We are not allowed to carry Bible, have prayer meetings, no churches, no pastors or priests. But today, We glorify Lord Jesus Christ, our faith and prayers are making changes, not publicaly but we are somewhat free from the days before. As some of our friends have stated India persecuting Christians, which is wrong. Baring one or two incidents, which is common in all countries. The Western Media is sketching these incidents more and more while the Gospel works going in India is kept silent. By the grace of our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ we christians in India free to worship, Missionary works, Gospel works, Conventions, Seminars etc. The MARAMON CONVENTION conducted in every February by the MARTHOMA CHURCH in KERALA is one of the largest Christian gathering in Asia and is conducted since 1895. The book of Revelation gives comfort, hope and encouragement to every christian beleiver at any circumstance of persecution.

Rev. 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord" tell us God is the begining and the End. He is the begining, as he is the author, creator of all things and he is the end as he brings all things which are here revealed to a conclusion. John 1:1-3 says "In the begining was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". All things were made through God. The WORD refers to JESUS, the only begotten of the Father who became flesh and dwelt among us. This claims that JESUS is a seperate individual from the Father and yet he himself possess Deity (He was God).

When we hear testimony and withness, it restores our life with spiritual hope. On looking at that time when John wrote Revelation, we find the peoples were persecuted and were scattered. There was no one to encourage them in church as we do have now. It is God's revelation to his son JESUS after he joins the fathers throne, hence the vision what John saw is the WORD OF GOD. His witness and testimony will encourage with hope and will reinforce the belief in JESUS CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST is a source of grace and peace. JESUS was faithfull in all things before his Father. He did not disobey. Jesus was not the first to rise from the dead, but he was the first to be resurrected to a new body and is seated at the right hand of GOD in the father's kingdom. He has all power both in Heaven and in Earth. JESUS is the one who loves us, his blood takes away our sin by giving us his sacrifice and perfect righteousness. Even there is no such persecution, yet we are afraid to witness because we are bound with satan. A clear witness means a complete surrender to JESUS CHRIST and for this we have to throw away all deeds of satan. This could lead us to throw away many worldly happiness which we are enjoying and we do know it is wrong.
