  1. Yahweh loving me, tells me I am valuable to Him, enough to send His son to die on the cross for me. That creates in me a thankful and grateful heart, with a mouth that is filled with praise to Him and humbles me to think that the Creator of heaven and earth had a plan to redeem man and make a way to commune with Him like He did with Adam and Eve. Father may I earnestly seek you with all my heart and be filled with the fullness of You.
  2. The psalmist had feelings of longing to be in the presence of Yahweh. He had feelings of lonliness and perhaps some abandonment as if he was fighting this situation without the help of His Heavenly Father. Sadness created a momentary darkness within him, however it did not stay as he remembered how he led the procession to the temple and reminded himself to hope (which is an expectation of good from Yahweh) in Yahweh, praise Him and meditate upon His kindness. He chose to think on the good things that Yahweh had done for him in the past. The best way to get out of depression! Yes, I have felt this way. I chose to praise Him for His goodness and magnify His name. Also to sing to Him, The enemy could not get a foothold on my emotions that way. It is written: Submit to Yahweh, resist the devil, and he Will flee from you! Praise Him.
  3. To dwell in the house of Yahweh is to abide under His wings and to be covered by His shadow, you are always covered by Him whereever you go, He is with you always. To seek His face is to be still in His presence and listen to His voice. Always seeking what His plans are for you and obeying. Having His presence fill you and saturate you. I delight to do your will O Father, for I am of your family. David provides hope by alluding to the fact, that even in our trials if we will: wait for Yahweh, expect Yahweh, have a courageous heart, wait confidently for Him, He will come to our rescue. HalleluYah, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Praise be to Yahweh!
  4. In reading this Psalm, David knew Yahweh knew what he was thinking, how he was going to act and feel even before he did.He could never get away from Yahweh. Yet, we are precious to Him, so David asked of Yahweh to search his heart and make him aware of anything that would dishonor or lead him astray. And so I humble my heart ,as David did and ask Yahweh to search me. O how He loves you and me...thank you Father
  5. Q2(Psalm 19) To me the common thread is Yahweh's awesome love for us-his people.Ceation showed us His power, his all-knowing what is good for us, his wisdom. He knew we would need sun and light and sounds of birds and the fragrance of flowers and it fills uswith the wonder and the joy of Yahweh. Likewise,He knew we would need the law to show us the error of our ways, it would make us wise, clean and enlighten our eyes, both would allow us to get to know Him better and to know His heart. The way I saw David bask in this Psalm was to list all the wonderful things that would happen to us if we choose to adhere toYahweh's law and ways. We are sure to be blesssed by Him. Yes, I have experienced His joy. His wonder in creation led David to expound on what Yahweh had created and write it...He seemed to be full of awe. David was asking the Father; that the words he spoke and the thoughts he had/has in his heart would be acceptqble and honoring to the Creator of heaven and earth. That is my prayer as well
  6. What does the Psalm teach us about the Heavenly Father? I learn that His name -Yahweh- is majestic in All the earth. How excellent is Thy name! It is powerful, loving, kind..the great I AM. What does it teach us about human beings? He loves us with an awesome love for He gave to us dominion over All He created. He put all things under our feet. Through HIM we can have victory. He even crowned us with glory and honor and made us a little lower thn the angels. We are the apple of His eye. What does it teach us about our responsibilities? We are to honor all He has made by taking care of it and even inquiring as to how to take care of it. We honor Him by taking care of his creation. We seek His guidancefor wisdom and knowledge come from Him.
