  1. God is reminding us who we are by sending us Jesus. God knows He can only relate to us in human terms because of our limited capacity to understand. Paul makes this point of telling us that God does things not in human perceptive terms but in ways that let us know the unlimited scope of His power.
  2. Some people believe the more knowledge they have of Jesus brings them to salvation through this given knowledge. Their faith walk just hasn't taken that final turn to acceptance and openness on their part. We can help by introducing the scripture. God will do the rest.
  3. Blaming others for our mistakes vs asking God's forgiveness and moving on. Success measured in what we own vs how close to God we are Living through the dramatization on TV vs living life yourself Taking everything the multimedia says as the truth vs knowing the truth through the Gospels
  4. I think Paul is trying to remind the church in Corinth that Spiritual exercise is as important as physical exercise and both lead to perseverance when the going gets tough.
