  1. I feel it was spiritual warfare because of Ephesians 6 the armor. It was through Paul conversion from killing the Christians to preaching it was a battle for the people to be convinced that Paul was truly preaching Jesus. Prayer is how we build our relationship with God. We are representatives of Christ here on earth and to be like Christ we must pray and seek the face of God. Christ prayed for people and he left the Great Commission. We have to do intercessory prayer for people who know that are lost and even our relatives. We are to people the closest thing to them seeing Jesus. The devil do not like to lose a soul and prayer is a strong weapon.
  2. We had a life before we accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. Paul was killing the Christians. God stopped Paul because he was radical during the wrong thing [killing the Christians]. God knew Paul would be just as radical saving souls. Paul view his calling to preach the same way he viewed his order to kill the Christians. However, it was completely different because Christ revealed Himself to Paul leading and guiding Paul to do what was needed to build God's Kingdom. I feel after been left with no sight he was ministered to from God which thinking of his old life he knew that he had to be obedient; so no choice was involved. Paul just submitted to God. He did not look at this change in his life as something to be honor but only to obey. As for me it helps me to just do what is right in the eyes of the Lord regarding God's gifting and calling us for ministry. The opposite of unfaithfulness towards God's gifts are abuser, disloyalty, and not grateful because it is an honor to be used by God for His Glory to be revealed to people.
  3. Abraham demonstrated faith by going through with the task of offering his son Isaac as a sacrifice to God. Abraham did not waver while doing this task. God saw that Abraham believed and trusted Him. One needs to daily after accepting the Lord as their Savior must be continually daily live close to God. It is no hit and miss with our relationship with God, we must study his word, have our devotions, and personal time of worship. These activities help one to become righteous by faith. this keeps a believer staying in the position of trusting God.
  4. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Spirit of God dwells inside of the believer. Therefore, the devil is persecuting Christ. A good example is when God told Samuel do not worry about the people that was coming up against him. God spoke to Samuel "the people are really coming up against Him." I had left my church and God would not let me rest or have any peace. I knew I had to return to the church to get back on Christ's path for my life. I feel it hurts us because you have to start all over to get back into your rightful position and relationship with God. My spiritual imagination tells me that God does have a conversation with Jesus who intercedes for us about how we kick against the goads. God is so merciful that He restores us.
  5. This is our world today legalism and pride 1 Corinthians 10:12 when you think you got it is when you fall. Another scripture is Romans 8:24 Take heed when you think you are standing lest you fall which is pride in operation instead of trusting God. We need to remember God is the Creator. The scripture that helps me to get through is meditating on Romans 8:28. People are so good remembering your past and not receiving you as a born again believer.
  6. Hello everyone, I am excited bout this Bible Study. I live in Newport News, VA. Donnie
  7. It was awful and Jesus walked in and rebuked that spirit. They totally disrespected the temple for their personal gain. We need people to stand up and be bold for God. I see things today in church I feel is a remembrance of Jesus set in order. Just like God had delivered the people and they starting crying for a King. God reminded them that He was the One that had delivered them and now they did not want to have anything to do with Him. God gave them Saul for a King. He (Saul) turned out to be a disappointment which God told them they were not ready for a King. We must be careful not to forgot God in our daily living like some did in the temple.
  8. Jesus said greater works we shall do. Jesus three years of ministry was just that doing ministry. We too regardless have to have the mind of Christ and do ministry. Granted one must be careful and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and go where he or she is led to go to do ministry. If it is ordained by God, God, Himself would have equipped us and soften the hearts of the people that we have to take time for including family and friends.
  9. We can not go wrong with the word of God. The word teaches us in Ephesians 4:26 "Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry but don't use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don't stay angry. Don't go to bed angry. Don't give the devil that kind of foot hold in your life (Message translation). So truly indeed Jesus was justifiable. If believers work the word in their life their anger should not get them in trouble
  10. I feel it is what they identify mostly which is the drinking. The spirit of drinking is in the person and a deliverance is definitely a need.
