  1. It is the presence and reign of God among His people. When His will is sought and done.
  2. Moses and Paul loved God and therefore, desire more of Him. I desire more of His presence and power. I have to create time to tarry more in His presence.
  3. Its being with Him that imparts knowledge and power to the disciples. This is His primary purpose of calling. This we do today as we study His word and wait on Him in prayer. He has called us to walk with Him so that we may work for Him.
  4. John's baptism done by water symbolizes forgiveness and purification of our sins. Whereas Jesus' baptism done by spirit filled us with power to remain Him pure replicate His life here on earth.
  5. The title shows us that the sacrificial ministry of Jesus was God's provision for the remission of our sins. Jesus completely fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 53.
  6. John counted service/ministry unto the Lord as a privilege because He could have done it by Himself or use another person. Until we all reach this maturity level in our school of discipleship we cannot be a mighty instrument/preacher in His hand. Thank you and God bless
  7. John was baptizing because God asked him to do so. The meaning of John's baptism was the symbolic purification and forgiveness of sins.
  8. This is the reason for our salvation because it was in His flesh that He paid the penalty for our numerous sins. He also declared on the cross while experiencing the excruciating pain in His flesh; "It is finished" Praise be unto God. Null and Void. The grace that saved me and give me a new hope and beginning in life. Yeah! The grace that transformed me from being a shy, timid person to become a preacher/teacher/speaker of His word of truth publicly anytime and anywhere. Oh! God; thank you.
  9. It means to allow Him your life as the director and controller of your life. It means to trust Him absolutely Salvation. Condemnation/Rejection.
  10. John was here on earth to proclaim all he knew and had seen about the Light i.e Christ. Jesus Christ said that we are to be His witness whereever we have found ourselves. (Acts 1:8). We therefore have similar purpose/mission like John. Pretty Well but not very satisfactory. I need to do more. John the Baptist was hated, persecuted, imprisoned and finally killed because of his convictions and testimony. Hun! Similar fate but Christ already exhorted me not to be afraid of those who can kill the flesh but not the spirit. They may believe Jesus and change or not.
  11. Yes, He is fully God. It implies His pre-earthly ministry. He is the very word uttered in the beginning during Creation. Apostle John believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And this he testified in his writings and ministry
