Receiving and believing in Jesus means accepting him as the Son of God and God. Receiving him in your heart by faith that he really was God in the flesh who walked on earth. Living for him and following all his commandments because he has the authority over your life mTrust all that he is, said, and did with no exceptions. By believing and receiving Jesus we have a spiritual relationship with God. We have the gift and the right to truly be Children of God. Our spirits are reborn and come to life. All souls are made and belong to God. We can have knowledge or an intellectual belief of God but when we have a walking, talking, living, breathing obedience to Jesus then we are really receiving. Those that don't fully accept or even accept Jesus are spiritually dead and don't have the privilege of being Children of God. They don't have his inheritance.

John the Baptist prophesied and told of Jesus. He told the people that Jesus was coming and who he was. We are here to witness of Jesus so that others can be saved and restored to God. I testify in street ministry, ministry to women in shelters, plus I testify with my life, walk, and talk and by living by the Word the best I can. John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded. When we testify clearly some people accept and some reject being saved. Sometimes people are very rejecting of God in not a nice way but we are not being improsoned or murdered by witnessing. One thing that happens is the joy for us for our obedience. People could be saved and restored to God, and also the Word says that one plants, one waters but God gives the increase. So at that time we may be a planter or a waterer and rejection or passive non acceptance is ok. We are doing as Jesus told us to be witness of him and compel men to come to Christ.

Jesus is fully God. From eternity past to eternity future. There is only one God and manifested as threebpersons. Jesus as the Word - Logos - is the total expression of God to man. Word defined: expression of a thought. God is love. Jesus embodied and was this total expression for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Jesus ministry was to show us God, his love, power. He came to save this dying world. To restore us to God and the plans God has for us now on earth, and for the eternity with him. That we are Children of the most High King and that our mission here on earth is to witness to others so that Gods other children could be saved.
