This is a key verse to moemorize! We are to have the identity of "overcomes" , not those who "shrink back". Ultimately we face three fears here, which are fear of death, fear of man & fear of death. to overcome them we need the fear of God that means that we fear losing God's approval more than our life on Earth. it makes us evaluate if eternity is IMPORTANT enough???? our testimony is what Christ has done for us & we all have a unique testimony. We need the "blood" for the accusations of satan.

We need to understand this is God's timetable and this is why these things are happening, which helps us know God is in control. We need to recognise that it is a spiritual battle against supernatural powers , but these are supernatural powers with us. We as the church have power to enforce God's Kingdom rule., we have a key purpose in this time of history.

To be persevering in our witness. not to give up in the face of opposition. To know that it will be rewarded and heaven is our reward.

reigning takes place as I pray for His rule to come into any situation. When I live in a sinful world responding as the Holy Spirit & my conscience direct me. When I declare his will over a situation and begin to act in faith and use my authority as a believer to curb satan's power and to "loose" the Fathers will into a situation. this may be though actions such as kind words, giving, blessing people in Christ's name. I serve as a priest when I share the good news, Rom 15 ((I think), offer worship, minister spiritual gifts amongst believers, bring in the tithes to His House, offer intercession & praise & worship.

His complete obedience to the Father. His sinlessness. That he was willing to do it out of love for us. That he knew everything that was coming and still went through with it. That he faced the depth of human sin, but also the separation from the Father. he saw me and did it!!!! That he suffered the worst any of us can suffer, such as betrayal & deepest rejection.

The first thing is to "go through the open door"! To recognise who is inviting us and providing the door to enter, Christ Himself. To view almighty God, the Father Himself. To take in the holiness and awe. What the various things mean, fire, trasluscent, To allow ones eyes to take in , the rainbow, of His promise to us. The four living creatures capturing the whole of the created order, That super nature, angels are key here, but Earth is just as much part of the scene. We join the elders and can Sing Prostrate ourselves Take off our crowns and surrender. Sing even new songs !!! Wait in silence!!!!

Two or three things come to mind. Compromising sexual standards allows demonic spirits to attack us, lowers the moral standards in the church. it leads to poor standards for youth who will quickly be absorbed into the world. It causes a lack of passion for witnessing because we become guilty & become unsure of our faith. We come under the influence of the worldly beliefs & ways of those sexual partners we may have relationships with!!!! The things which Christians in UK are compromised over today, including mixed messages by different church streams over homosexuality & same sex marriage. We are are afraid to say anything in case we are accused of being "homophobic".

Can lose first love by becoming distracted from the person of Jesus , by focussing on our ministry or the problems that surround us. Another way would be allowing disagreements to rule and not trying to restore relationships. Restoring prayer and a passion in worship are the first steps to placing Christ back at the centre of any fellowship of Christians.
