  1. God has always been. Jesus is God in the flesh. Yes John does make a distinction between who God and Jesus are. Three but one. The way I learned about the Trinity was this---- Take an apple--- you have the core with the seeds. .the meaty fleshy part and the peel...three parts but its still an apple.
  2. Jesus became flesh so God could dwell among us. He wants us to be like Him. Jesus' life, crucificixion and resurrection would mean nothing if He were pretending. I have learned or tried to be more like Him....loving..truthful..don't judge others...acceptance of others. I seem to be more patient and loving. I show others how to treat others by trying to be as Christ was.
  3. To receive Jesus is to be like Him. Stay in His word. To trust Him totally. To believe who He says He is without question. To wrap our lives with His. Those who don't turn away or reject Jesus. One has heaven the other doesn't.
  4. John was to be with Jesus to see all He was doing and teaching. John would go out and teach what Jesus taught and did. Testify means to see someone do or hear them say something. Jesus is the light and that's what John taught. John was a prophet. John was told about in the Old Testament of 2hat he would dojohn wanted people to believe in Jesus. I don't do as well as I should. I could do better. John was eventually beheaded end died. The same as John, die.
  5. Yes Jesus is fully God, in human form. Jesus was God walking on earth teaching His ways. Jesus was obedient to his Father..
