  1. Q2. (John 3:3-5) What does “entering the Kingdom” have to do with being “born anew”? Which do you think is the best translation here: “born again,” “born anew,” or “born from above”? Defend your reasoning. The Kingdom of God can only be entered in the spiritual not the physical."flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom" so being born again/anew into a spiritual being allows us to be able to enter the kingdom. I believe both again /anew fit Nichodemus understood again from his response his question on how can someone renter his mothers womb.
  2. Q1. (John 3:3, 5) What does Jesus teach here about the nature of the Kingdom of God? Do you think Nicodemus understands him? Why or why not? Jesus teaches that the kingdom is a spiritual kingdom not a physical place. I believe Nicodemus did not understand because of his answer " how can one enter into his mothers womb when he is old?"
  3. Q3. (John 2:23-25) What is the problem with faith that rests solely on miracles? Is it true faith? What is necessary for it to develop into true faith? Did Jesus see these problems as a reason not to perform miracles? Faith that rest on miracles is not faith in the person of Jesus Christ the miracle worker. I believe it's a trust that wether a miracle happens or not Jesus/God is good and on his throne Sovereign it's a knowledge of the miracle worker. I believe he did see the problem, that's why he did not perform miracles in his home town no faith Just wanted to see miracles.
  4. Q2. (John 2:3-5) Why do you think Mary pushes Jesus to solve the wedding host’s problem? Are her words to Jesus appropriate? Would you categorize Jesus’ reply as a rebuke? If so, why does he go ahead with the miracle? Well like others have said Mary was probably a family member and wanted to help avoid an embarrassment. I believe that she was loving her family by trying to avoid this problem in so doing she approached the only person who could help. Jesus. So it was appropriate. Yes it was a rebuke. But he honored his mother.
  5. Q1. (John 2:1-2) Why are we sometimes "too busy" to spend time with friends and relatives? What does Jesus' attendance at this wedding tell us about him? How can we apply that learning in our own personal lives? Maybe because we don't value our family and friends as we should. I believe it shows that Jesus valued time with family and friends because the creator of the world took time To attend. He valued and and loved people. ThankGod for his love. I believe we need to put an emphasis on people ,loving people like our savior did and does. Relationships are what Jesus was all about.
  6. Q5. (John 1:50-51) Which aspects of Daniel’s prophecy in Daniel 7:13-14 does Jesus apply to his title as Son of Man? When will the Son of Man complete his ministry? Jesus is the embodiment of all the prophecy from all authority, sovereignty, Glory, worship. The prophecy will have its completion at the second coming.
  7. Q2. (John 1:7-8) What did it mean that John was sent to "testify" to the light? In what sense are you put here with the purpose of "testifying" to the light? How are you doing in this regard? What happened to John the Baptist? What might happen to you if you testify clearly? What might happen to the people to whom you testify? John was a witness to what the light is and what it can do in the life of those that would receive the light. To my shame I'm not always the witness the light to an un believing world that I should be,I need to remember the purpose for our lives is to be John the Baptist . John was killed for speaking truth. We also can inqure abuse ridicule for speaking truth who knows maybe one day if things continue the way they are even be put in jail for truth Gods truth.
  8. Is Jesus fully God absolutely ,John clearly tells us that in the beginning before anything existed the Logos the word was the Word existed and that Word is God himself. Not only did he pre exist all things but he was the Creator of all things. What this means to me about his ministry is that we can trust and follow the Logos the Word to leads us to the light to life. Thank you Jesus.
