  1. Mary the Lords mother had lived with her son for close to thirty years. She understood some thing we are yet to or in the process of grasping.she placed a demand in FAITH not wavering, and she spoke her expectation out, she released her faith into action. She was a good student of her son, she knew this truth long before Jesus taught His disciples. 11:23-24.
  2. The disciples followed Jesus at Johns recommendation. It did not cost John anything, rather it affirmed him as he claimed, " a voice in the wilderness...." John was a great prophet indeed, he watched his prophecy come to pass. Many prophets would long for this. He must have been so excited, it didn't matter to him how he died He died a fulfilled man. What great joy!!
  3. "the lamb of God" amongst other symbolisms, depicts Christ complete and loving submission to the Father. He learned early His Fathers ways tenderly that when the appointed time came He was willing.
  4. The religious leaders were afraid yes, but am of the opinion it wasn't out of a sincere heart for the people, but to protect their own rights and privileges that came with their position, it could be that they were expecting that God will confer with them to let them know His plan exclusively, or they had cast off restraints and merely going through the motions of life and not expecting the MESSIAH. Secondly, John must have been moved by the spirit to answer them thus, else, they could have stopped him. He had a good grasp of who and what he was called to do and rightly so. If he didn't he could have been distracted by being compared to Elijah, he probably did not even know he was. He just stuck with his purpose as explained without questions by the Holy spirit.
  5. Yes, john did made them both distinctive based on roles played yet, they are one and the same God.
  6. Yes, Jesus is fully God. It takes faith to accept and believe this, as we were taught otherwise doctrinally.
