  1. Q4. Why should we continually ask forgiveness? How can unforgiveness on our part block God's blessing? How can unforgiveness block God's forgiveness? We should continually ask for forgiveness in order to prevent unforgiveness from turning in to bitterness. Unforgiveness blocks God's blessing because when we don't forgive others their trespasses against us, God will not forgive us for our trespasses against Him. We are in bondage to sin when we choose not to forgive. We must walk in God's love at all times.
  2. Q3. Why do we seek to be independent of asking anyone for help? Why do we seek to be independent of God? Why should we ask God to "give" us daily bread so long as we can earn a living for ourselves? I think we seek to be independent of asking anyone for help due to pride in us. Admitting that we need help from someone else and that we are unable to make it on our own is seen as a weakness. I think we think that we are doing something wrong if we have to keep going to God in prayer asking Him for the same thing over and over instead seeing that He is our provider. God is our source so we should ask Him to give us daily bread in order to remind ourselves that everything we could ever need is supplied only by Him.
  3. Q2. In what sense are we asking that the Father's kingdom should come? Why are we asking for the Father's will to be done here on earth? How should this prayer affect our living? We are asking for God to reign and rule over everyone on earth. We ask for the Father's will to be done on earth because we ask for God's perfect will to be done earth. He has plan for each and every one of us and He knows what is best for us so we our prayer and lives should always line up with the will of God.
  4. Q1. What about our lives and words "hallows" the name of our Father? What desecrates and besmirches it? How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? Our lives and words hallows the name of our Father when we give thanks to the Heavenly Father every day for all that He has done for us even when we are going through trials and tribulations. We also refrain from using His name in vain and we always show others we encounter the love of our Heavenly Father through not only our words but our deeds as well. The name of our Father is desecrated when we take His name in vain and when we complain against Him. When we pray, we should hallow the Father by acknowledging that He is omnipotent and holy. We should also give Him praise, honor, and respect for all that He has done for us.
