  1. Forgiveness (sprinkling ) and obedience come together as a package because you can't have one without the other. Hebrew 9:22 And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Forgiveness has been purchased for us by Christ, accepting the call (obedience ) by believing the gift of forgiveness that leads to salvation is very paramount . For the bible says in Romans 10:10 we believe with our hearts unto righteousness and confess with our mouth unto salvation. Without Obeying the call, we are rejecting the very thing that will bring us salvation. If there is no forgiveness on the other hand nothing to obey. They are definitely a package , thinking otherwise is a delusion. True faith requires obedience but this obedience is not of works but the yielding of the heart. Our heart cannot be yielded if we were first not chosen by God for salvation. For a person who has been pre-destined to be saved cannot take credit for their salvation . The bible says 1 Cor 3:7 that it is neither the sower nor the one who waters that is anything but God who brings the increase. Therefore, it is by Gods grace that we were first elected, predestined to inherit salvation and the planting of the seed in our hearts and the process until when it was ripe for reaping is not of our on works but all by His grace. True Faith is believing all of the above and yielding our hearts in obedience.
  2. Thank you so much for these studies Pastor Ralph. I think for the first time, I got the revelation of bringing God praise. I love praising Him with songs and fruits of my lips but never did I ever approach that as a "Priest". Understanding deeper our priesthood gives me a better understanding of what I am doing when I approach Him. This is why it is written to come boldly before His throne room, Jesus's blood already has paid the price, he is the highest sucrose that has cleansed us and made us Holy and accepted. Sorry for rambling ... To answer your question because of the above, I can and should be offering praise to God with a joyful heart! For such a privilege to bring God pleasure.
  3. The mindset of a Priest towards God is one who stands in the gap for a people petitioning heaven on their behalf. The priest boldly approaches the throne room of God to make petition and also to hear what is on Gods heart to pray about. This inspires me to freely approach God seeking His heart and listening out for prayer burdens/leading by Him. Also , it inspires me to pray for the Kingdom of God to come and I never cease to pray for others and salvation of souls . I just love to spend time in God's presence and making Him and his works known amongst men. Sharing testimonies of His goodness and love
  4. a) Paul expects God to comlete the good work He has started in them -Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith - God says He will never leave nor forsake us c &d) God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent, as He said it? will He not bring it to pass? God is faithful to complete the good works in us
  5. 1. I usually, prayerfully consider before supporting some Ministries. Once when I couldn't get peace on the matter I had a dream that night that I was in a shop about to buy a weapon and I couldn't decide. The price tag on the weapon showed exactly the amount I was debating to sow $57.73, so I approached the counter to pay and I was told the gun comes with a free Government bond. I looked at 2 people who appeared to be my body guards to confirm and they confirmed it was true. I purchased the weapon and left. I woke up and quickly set up the payment for that Ministry. When we become financial partners in a Christian ministry, we get the pleasure of knowing that we are contributing to moving the Kingdom work forward. It means more lives will be touched and reached because of people who give like us. Lives are changed and the Good news is preached in areas that would not been possible without the financial support. Personally I don't concern myself with how the ministry spend the money, God knows the truth, as long as they teach the Gospel. Also the spiritual benefits of sowing into the Kingdom is priceless, there is no better ground to sow than a Ministry that is Christ centred. 2. Other ways to help: praying for the ministry, encouraging others to sow/pray, sending supplies, volunteering our time, make our places available for travelling Ministers etc
  6. Q1. (Exodus 7:6-7) Why did Moses blame God for his troubles? Why do you think Moses and Aaron are so stubborn? Was it fear? Was it unbelief? Or both, perhaps? Why does God have to command Moses and Aaron? I believe Moses was blaming God because he was reluctant to take on the assignment in the first place saying he was not qualified. As we learnt in the first lesson, his lack of confidence in himself to be able to fulfil this call is what we are seeing here again... So the blame ls like an "I told you to use someone else" reminder. When we forget that God is Sovereign and planned our end to our beginning , knows every pitfall and every outcome and already made provision before we were created, we tend to blame when things don't go as we expected. We, unlike Moses and the Isrealites have the privilege of knowing Romans 8:28 so that even when things go unexpected we can take comfort that all things will work together for our good. I don't think Aaron and Moses doubted God but they were probably afraid of backlash from the people. More concerned about the people , I mean how can you say you are hearing God and being sent by God and things are now getting worse instead of being better? Their labour now harder just because of Moses and Aaron. God had to command them to show that there is no alternative or negotiation on this matter. Besides when God says BE! it is! So I'm sure when He commanded by His word, the word did the job in their heart and they succumbed .
  7. Hello all, My name is Adeola and I live in London, a business woman and a home maker. I was referred here by a friend and member of a group I lead. I am a bit of a reluctant leader and I believe this study will really bless me and those whom I'm called to lead now and in the future. Thank you
