Jesus, going by His name came to seek and save that which was lost. We were dead in sins and trespassed and there annual sacrifices of bulls and rams could not pay for all our sins. Our sins could only be covered (atoned) in that dispensation. Jesus came and paid the price once and for all. He fulfilled all the requirements. He humbled Himself, took the form of man having left His throne just to bring us back on track. We are His precious possession. The Bible describes this redemptive plan in Isaiah 53:10 But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. It is a wonderful privilege that Jesus accomplished His mission on earth and delegated authority to us to occupy till He comes. May He find faith on earth when He comes. Amen.
