How is Jesus' name linked to His mission? Jesus' name meant that He had come to save us from our sins. His salvation was not about military might but about spiritual wholeness How did He fulfil His mission? Jesus completed His mission through His sacrificial death on the cross where He cancelled all our sins; His rising from death confirmed that His mission had been accomplished. How did He fulfil His mission in my life? I was a wreck, a churchgoer who slipped and fell, and Jesus picked me up and cleaned off, forgave my debt; and He has continued to work on me, drawing me ever closer to Him. He has been using me in ministry, little old me; and He has made me realise that I must decrease so that He can increase and continue His work in Him. All praise to Him, my Saviour!
