Jesus core identity came from the Holy Spirit. It also came from God who said this is my beloved son whom I am well pleased. It establishes my core identity because I have been saved, sanctified and filled with His precious Holy Ghost. I believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again.

The purpose of God putting His Holy Spirit upon the individuals in the (Old Testament & the New) was that they could do the things he had called them to do.

Some of the people decided to stay behind because they had become comfortable where they were. Did not want to take on the task of re-building. Starting over can be difficult for some people, because they are not flexible.
