  1. Yes i have felt of no value or no worth in many situations. Peter says an actually priceless and was not merely bought but a great price was paid for me to be redeemed. It indicates no losses in it. My true longtime investment is to love God, serve him with all my family so that one day we shall see him and live with him.
  2. First of all they feel you are not the right person to judge them, secondly they want to be accredited too for their works and thirdly they feel like your judgements may not be fair to them. God loves us and he gave us commandments to follow for our own good for example not to kill is for our own good so that we can all live and those who don't follow that actually don't treasure others. When final judgement is left out, the gospel won't be complete meaning people wont see their destiny therefore will not work hard to achieve which was promised to them.
  3. Holiness is being perfect, without stain or wrinkle or blemish and for me i have not yet attained holiness but am trying with giving to the needy and loving the disabled. I need to be submissive to the voice of the spirit in all circumstances to attain holiness. My biggest struggle with holiness is lack of love for those who hurt me severely.
  4. The judgement day keeps me with an undivided mind. It gives me a hope that finally one day i will see my saviour and live with him in eternity in a life full of joy love and peace in unity. It should inspire self control and soberness which that i may not be taken up by worldly things and be able to distinguish wrong from right. When we don't expect Christ to come soon we tend to loose focus and feel like pleasing our flesh desires at that time because we feel it is still far for God to return and we still have enough time to repent which may not be true.
  5. We are the light and salt of the earth that means people look at us and judge us by our acts so we out to love, care for the needy and give to the people of God. To blend in is to do your part effectively because we form the many parts that make up the body of Christ and every part is important and has to be involved to obtain a finished body.
  6. Peter tells us that we do not belong to the world by calling us sojourners, strangers and foreigners and that we are only passing through it so we need not to listen to what the world says because it contradicts what God says and wants us to do. This helps us to keep on the right track in this world and not loose our path since we are in a journey of salvation.
  7. It should inspire in us the action of imitating Christ like Paul said so we can be a part of God's own by obtaining the likeness of Christ and an attitude of love, gentleness, patience, self control and the others.
  8. I think we should give God the praise without expectation of getting because firstly God created us to praise him, that's why we say all praise belongs to him and also he is God and not human he will always provide for us so we need to praise him because he is God and not for our own benefit but to his glory
  9. The mindset of a priest towards God is a mind of humble service and this inspires me to be an obedient and respectful servant of God by humbly serving the people of God and considering them first with gentleness.
  10. I think one's belief is the basis of christian joy that is inexpressible and glorious. This joy affects and influences one's feelings, attitude and actions and i think it is essentially emotional because it affects the mindset of an individual. It differs from pursuit of happiness in a way that happiness is an emotional feeling or thing whereas this joy has something to do with inner attitude or what your heart's attitude that is reflected later on the outside. Also joy is long lasting while happiness is a very temporary situation. I can tell the genuine article of joy from the counterfeit by looking at the priorities of someone and what they values most in their lives which will enable me know the kind of persons they are and their interests, if their interest is heaven, they will have hope that gives them genuine joy.
  11. I remember one day at school when i almost ran mad for about two week i could not go to class so i decided to go back home. one day when i was in church i heard a voice telling me "grace i am the resurrection and the life", you have me you have life and that's how i got delivered. All my people who thought i would never go back to school wondered and began to say my God is alive. When i heard them say that i realized my life was in Gods hands and so i needed to begin moving with him and seeking him more and more so i can have life. One thing i know is that genuine and tested faith brings glory to God in away that God has power and has conquered because the bible says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
  12. God is the originator of our salvation that means he has played his part already because he loved us before we knew it, predestined us and effected us through the finished works of his son. He has given us the holy spirit as a full package during this walk of salvation and he is preparing for us a place and he shall return to take us home someday. My part is first of all to believe in him he said and to follow his commands and wait upon him knowing he will return, this requires faith by faith.
  13. Forgiveness is obeying God because once you ask for forgiveness that means you are no longer going to do the contrary to what God wants, but to do what he wants. It is deceptive to think you have one and not all because that actually means you have non of the two, if you cannot ask for forgiveness then you are disobedient too. The two go hand in hand.Yes we are saved by grace not works but through faith and faith requires one to be obedient to obtain it.
  14. I can describe such a christian as one who has doubts about the existence of heaven and see those things as abstract so they resort to live in the present life that they see and become Luke worm Christians who have not died to self and they are not looking at things above but below for example they have great desire for material things like money and fashion. I have found myself in such situations but each time i realize it, i sit down, ask myself questions and talk to God to get answers and then i repent and get back on track and begin to seek the face of God continuously by reading his word and having fellowships with fellow believers
