The pattern emerging from Jesus' prayer life is unmistakably a regular quiet time set apart to commune with his Father, in the early morning when it is still dark and most of the people are yet to get up from bed. It seems during that time Jesus received teachings and guidance about his Father's will regarding his ministry on that day. Then he went on about his ministry, fulfilling his Father's will in perfect obedience. I see the fulfilment of the prophecy in Isaiah 50:4 in the prayer pattern of Jesus
