  1. Sin is the result of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the garden of Eden. From that day till this day it has been in the world. But God has made a way for man to redeem himself from sin and to be reconciled back to him. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. When we repent of ours sins and accept Jesus as our Savior and we are baptized, and walk in holiness and do the will of God, God promised us eternal life.. The good things that comes out of affliction, Of the godly is that God can use them for his glory, that others might see and be drawn back to him also. God has always use the less than perfect and the weak or the lowly, or those who we think are not worthy, to make his presence known and to show his power and his glory! Jesus said that he came not for the righteous, but for the sinners, those who are lost and walking in darkness. A well and whole person does not need a doctor. They are just to continue walking in the light. And directing and helping others to do the same.
  2. " John 3:16-17- " for God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son to condemn the world, but that the world, through him might be saved." Romans 10:9-10-" if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the death, you will be saved. For with the heart ones believes unto rightousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. " God worked miracles as evident in the old testament and through Jesus in the new testament, to show his power and his glory, that those seeing would believe, repent and live accordingly, believing and trusting and depending in him and one him as their God who provides and saves. We do not see those kind of miracles today, however, he still does miracle in the hearts and the lives of his believers. Jesus said unless you see miracles ,you don't believe.. Would you still believe, without seeing miracles??? That is what FAITH is... Abraham and the prophets did not live to see the promises that God gave them but they continued doing his will based on their faith, their belief that he would do what he promised. We have to do the same. Standing on the Promises of God!! Are you standing?? Or do you give up because you don't see the miracle you ask for?? can you still follow and believe in Jesus, believe in God without a miracle??? Would you recognize a miracle when you see one?? They are evident ever where you look!!! We live and have our being, only by the grace of God!!! We don't deserve it!!! Nothing we do can obtain it!! It is a gift, freely given by God, for he loves us so! Do you believe??? God' s GRACE is a miracle all by it self!! Mankind is a miracle.....this world.and everything in the cosmos, the heaves... Miracles!!!! Do you understand how we exist???? God is a Mystery! His Wonders to behold!!! Belief is the key. Grace is the miracle.
  3. It is when we are weak that God uses us to show His Glory, His Power, His Might, least we boast of ourselves!!! God always uses the imperfect to manifest his Glory through us. We are mere human flesh, but God is Spiritual and works his wonders through our flesh so all will see and believe in Him! God's Grace is more than enough to accomplish anything ! He said so!! He has proven it in His word from Genesis to Revelation!!!.. There are no limits in God's Grace for those who trust and believe!!
  4. Jesus stayed in Samaria because it was the Father's will for him to stay. He always stated that he does nothing of himself, but only what his Father tells him to do. "(Not my will, but your will O God, be done)". It was his mission to preach salvation to them..the disciples were only to the Jews because the were of the Jewish fate and would understand that they were the chosen people. They were to help bring back the Jewish people to their chosen God. They would not have understood that Jesus was called to preach Salvation to non Jewish and the whole world also. This is still all new and fresh to them. They did understand that their was a lost tribe of the people who needed to returned to the God of their fathers so they were told only to preach to them. That was their mission until further instructions from God. John 3:16-17 explains the rest of this question!!!
  5. Bread of heaven sent down from Glory, Many names you were on earth, a holy king, a carpenter, You are the Living Word! Awesome ruler, gentle redeemer, Emmanuel, God with us, the living truth, and what a friend we have in you, You are the Living Word. JESUS, JESUS, that's what we call you Manger born, put on a tree, you died to save humanity, YOU are the LIVING WORD!!!
  6. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch, a sinner, like me. I once was lost but now I am found was blind but now I see!!! " 1 John 4:19- "we love him because He first loved us."". Thank you, Lord, for your steadfast and loving kindness.!!!
  7. Mark 3:9 states that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable which is the only sin God does not forgive. This verse was spoken to the Pharisees for their unbelief in Jesus as the son of God. They said that Jesus was using the power of Satan to perform miracles. They did not believe and spoke against the Holy Spirit, which in truth is God himself. "In the beginning was the word and the word was God." Jesus is the word of God, in the flesh. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, are one and the same..because God said so!!! If you don't believe it and speak against it, that is Blasphemy.. To continue in this and never repent, is unforgivable. We see how Saul was saved on the road to Damascus by God, even though he was persecuting Christians. God revealed Himself to Saul and used him to preach to the Gentiles the gospel of Jesus!!! When Saul heard God's voice, God changed his heart for His Glory!!! He was forgiven and saved from blasphemy!!! If we do not repent, turn from sin and sin no more, we are lost!!! Only those who have pure hearts shall see God!! To blasphemy against God, the Holy Spirit, is unforgivable!!! To continue in unbelief and to deny His existence and speak against Him , is unforgivable!!
  8. Jesus is the example of all these. He showed humility, he had power, and confidence in speech. We are to follow in the example Jesus left us. We, too, have the same , as we stay in the grace of God. He said so..the Holy Spirit was promised to us ,to teach ,lead and guide us to do the will of the Father. He will strengthen us and help us. Jesus tells the disciples that he only does the will of his father who sent him. It is not about us, saints of God , so let us stop interjecting our thoughts and plans and will. We are to do God's will, Just as Jesus did, with humility, power and confidence. John the Baptist was born to prepare the way for The Messiah, his cousin, to tell the Jews to repent and return to God. I often wonder about the leaders of the Jewish people those who kept the law of Moses, those who had all the questions. They read the same scriptures and quoted the same scriptures and studied the same Scripture of Isaiah and all the other prophets which Jesus often quoted back to them that answers their own questions!; who did they think their law and scriptures spoke of??? They claimed to believe the scriptures but yet they did not accept the one the scriptures spoke of!! John the Baptist did what he was born to do . he preached reference of sin. He baptized by water which was to make clean and then you were to live a sinless life. You were reconciled back to God. Jesus was the sacrificial lamb whose blood was shed for our salvation. That was what God taught his people in the old law on how to worship and be forgiven of sin. When Jesus healed he would say "you are healed, ( forgiven) go, and sin no more". He preached the gospel of salvation, repentance from sin and be made right with God the father. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no other name or way to heaven, to God, then throught the Son.. Amen... Do you believe???
  9. Yes, Jesus is God as the word of God, to be made in flesh for mankind sake, so we can see him as we see our human form. No man can look upon God and live. That is why he spoke through the prophets. Jesus is God in the form of the word he speaks to us. We see Jesus ,we see God. They are one and the same. God said so. Jesus tells his disciples when you see me you see the one who sent me.
  10. The blessings are to all believers in Jesus Christ who are baptised and redeemed by the blood of the lamb through faith! It is because of Abrahams obedience to God and his faith in him and his trust in him that we too are heirs to the promise!. No greater love!..Just as God sacrificed is only son, Abraham was willing to do the same! Bless Isaac for he was as obedient and trusting as his father! A willing sacrifice!! Hallelujah! It was a test of faith!
  11. Our ministry, our mission as Christians, is drawing souls to the kingdom! We are to preach the gospel to the lost souls and tell them the good news of Jesus Christ. Tell them and lead them, point them to the path of righteousness! Christians as disciples of Jesus have been assigned the Great Commission. "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this that I am with you always, even to the ends of the ages." (Matt.28:20). This is our responsibility ! It is not political!. When Jesus spoke with the religious leaders and government leaders, his message was always about obedience to the Father. He spoke of love and righteousness and on being merciful and kind and forgiving and doing what is right and fair and just. He taught and spoke on justice and having and showing compassion for one another. Jesus came to fulfill the old law of Moses and to show mankind the way back to God. The wages of sin is death. The gift of God is eternal life. Until political leaders change their hearts and repent of their sins and start living their lives according to the will of God, until they accept Jesus as their savior and are born again, and change and turn from their wicked ways, our government will get no better! Our state was founded on the principles of Justice and equality for all!! In God we trust is on our currency and we have a bible to swear our leadership into office!! But when it comes to obedience of that Bible, which is the word of God, that we say we will follow, what happens after we are in office?? We have allowed prayer to be taken out our schools! We are accepting all kinds of behavior that is not of God! Why is Thanks given and Christmas the only times during the year that we show love and compassion for others??? Why are we allowing our children to watch and play with shows and things that are violent and mean and disrespectful?? There is a right and wrong way to live and act. Why is the wrong way more acceptable?? Our children learn from what they see us do ! Are we showing them the right way?? The loving way? The way of God??? Why do we choose to follow leaders who only want to do what is in their best interest? What happened to voting for those who want what's right, just and fair?? Those who treat everyone with equality and justice for all? Why are we showing and choosing violence and hate over love and peace?? Why can't we show kindness to those who we may not agree with instead of judgment?? Jesus is our example!! We should be walking in the path he has left and commanded us to follow!!! We are to be about our fathers business of leading souls back to him!! If we are in a position of political influence with a government leader, our focus should be on doing the will of God, telling and showing them the righteousness way to lead.
  12. Amen!! Why is it so hard for us to do this??? Worship, praise, be obedient, be still before him??? Trust, obey, love ...we come before him with so many words and thoughts!! Be still in his presence!!. He already knows our needs!!! He is God Almighty and Everlasting! He does not need our help or assistance to perform!! As if we could!!! Depend on him and trust in him to what he promise us he would do!!
  13. He already knows that Ahab is not a true follower of Yahweh! And that the prophets he is calling on are the ones who are under the control of Jezebel!
  14. God has commanded us to put no other god before him! He is the one and only true living God. We can not serve him and something or someone else. He is first last and always! We want to put the way of the world before God. We want to live according to the world but go to heaven when we die!. As believers and Christians God is first before we do anything! They will be done !! Not my will! God's will comes before anything or anyone..no discussion.. No debate!!! Just YES to your will and your way!! AMEN
  15. God is showing his glory and power through one person at a time so that they will see and believe on him and be a witness to others! He uses the weak and helpless and those who have nothing so that they can not boast and people will know and see that there is a power beyond them!!
  16. For the Christian believer, common sense is the Holy Spirit living in us and helping us in our weakness. This is the Spirit promised to us by God through Jesus when he was going back to the Father after the ressurrection. He is the comfortor that will lead and guide us into all truth. He is the one who will speak to God for us in our weakness.(Romans 8).Jesus said he would never leave us nor forsake us. So Proverbs are instructions on how we are to live holy lives according to the will of God, for his purpose, for his glory! We are to listen and obey the voice of God when he speaks. We will know when he speaks because God knows our names and knows our needs before we ask. The Holy Spirit is leading and guiding and speaking for us. We need to keep our hearts and minds open to hear and receive and welcome him in.! This is spiritual journey, not physical! Don't think and read and discern scriptures with the physical mind but with spiritual which is the mind of Christ.
  17. This is God working his will through Elijah. Just as he did through Moses. This is a battle between the gods of man and the Supreme God of all creation. God is showing himself to his chosen people who have once again turned from him to false gods. This generation has not witnessed the power of the God of their ancestors, those who where delivered from Egypt by God with miracles, signs and wonders. They are about to be introduced to the real wonder working God! Elijah is just the instrument God uses to proclaim his glory! Elijah had no voice or will of his own!! God is speaking and working through this prophet! God used Pharoah's gods against him to prove they had no power! He will show Ahab and his people as well. He will show his chosen people the difference do they will return to him!
  18. Gideon refuses the request of being their king because he knows that he was not responsible for their deliverance from their enemies. God was, is. Gideon knows he was a coward and only succeeded because of God. It was God's strength and power, he was just the vessel. The Israelites are refusing God because they want to worship a god they can see like the surrounding countries do. This is a new generation after the death of Joshua and the people have forgotten the God of their ancestors. This invisible God who delivered them from Egypt.
  19. God sent his son, Jesus into the world so that the world, through him might be saved. He is the only way to Salvation and in believing in him and following his teachings, we are redeemed back to God the father. Jesus teaches us what God requires to be forgiven of sin and how we can obtain eternal life. Jesus tells us," no on can come unto the father, but through me, ..I am the truth the way and the life... Jesus is the light of the world..the world belongs to Satan so we are to come out of the world and walk in the marvelous light!! That light is Jesus! God said so. It is His World, His Salvation, His way! There is no other way!! Believe it and receive it.!!!
  20. Man was created to worship God and to be obedient to Him!! Satan is the one who causes sin! Every good and perfect gift is and comes from God. For man to understand good and evil he must make a choice first to believe in one or the other and then follow or learn what is required in that belief. If you choose good, than you follow and learn of God and do his will. The evil of this world belong to the evil one. Those of us who have accepted Jesus belong to him and we are not of this earthly world ,which is Satan's ,but we are in a spiritual realm with God! We have chosen to believe in good and follow him! Study and show yourself approved.!! Know who you are in Christ and walk and live in faith!! We can not answer for the world! We don't belong to it!! God loved his creation so he gave his son to die for our salvation but we have to believe first than accept him an be obedient in worshipping him only! That is his requirment for HIS salvation!!! Eternity with him or hell with Satan??? You choose!
  21. The values of trials in my life has drawn me even closer to Jesus through prayer and praise!. I read the the gospels of Jesus and the Psalms and the old testament and find comfort and joy in knowing that God takes care of his people no matter what we are facing or going through and I am lifted up and begin to count my blessings and thanking and praising God for all he has done and for just being Good God Almighty that my trials are no longer important but my praise and worship to God bring me joy and peace!! Halllujah!!
  22. I have asked different Pastors for their understanding of this scripture. There seems to be many difference interpretations of what Jesus is saying in this miracle. His reply to his mother is that he has specific instruction from the Father on where his ministry begins and this is not the time or place. This is what he means by " my time has not yet come". In Matthews 10:5 Jesus sends his disciples out to preach the gospel but only to the Jews or people of Israel and not to the Samaritans or non Jew.. Jesus is sent by the father to return his chosen people back to him. He is instructed to share the good news of Salvation first to the chosen people of God. So the wedding was not where he is to Reveal himself as the Messiah first. But being obedient was also part of his mission so God allows him to respond to his mother's request. Perhaps Mary is a little anxious and excited to show off her son and to let others know of his importance of who he is. A mother's pride in who her son is! Jesus is on his way to fulfilling is destiny and he has specific instructions on how and when and to whom from the father to accomplish his will. We know that Jesus often stated that he only does the will of his father who sent him. So everything we see Jesus do and say, whether we understand or not is from the father. I believe Jesus was to begin his ministry of miracles, to show the Jews that he was their Messiah and they were to repent and return back to God. This has been the Messeage of the old testament and is now being revealed in the New Testament in Jesus.
  23. We seem to think that righteous and justice is different today than it was in the bible days, but it isn't. There is only one way and that way is the way of the word of God which he recorded in the bible and it has not changed from then to now and will never change. We are still required by God to obey his commandments as given by Him and to walk holy and righteous as he has instructed. We all know right from wrong.. We all know what sin is. When we sin we have an advocate who is Jesus.. We are to ask for forgiveness and repent and sin no more.. Satan is still roaming the earth seeking souls to steal from God just as he did with Adam and Eve in the Garden. Evil is every present.. God's word will always protect us if we choose to do what is right in His sight. He will strengthen us when we call on him to help us.. All we need do is live right and do his will, we know what that is. There are so many churches and so many names of churches and so much religion and so many different ways of worship. But is it God's way? Are we worshipping Him according to how He has instructed? Are we doing God's will or are we doing man's will..? Are we following in the word of God ? Have we deviated our services of worship from the pattern given in the New Testament which is how Jesus said we must worship? If we know what the bible says to do and how the bible says to live and serve God and we are not doing it, it is a sin and it is not acceptable and pleasing in God's sight. 2 Chronicles 7: 14.. Please read for yourself. It was God's response to Solomon's prayer after the building and dedication of the temple, but it still applies to us today... God hears the faithful prayers of the righteous, His people who are called by His name....
