law was given to do three things. 1. to restrain human fallen nature.so we may know that our actions are actually sin. 2. to legalise offences. bring judgement to offenders. 3.to make us realise that we can not keep them thus look onto Jesus our only hope.

here poul is saying that cursed is a man who does not continue to do all requirement of law, you have to observe all of them, if you miss one you are guilty of all. gentiles receive the spirit because Jesus has taken the curse for them on the cross.

argument poul is putting forward is that they received the spirit hearing faith before Judaism was introduced to them. and this is very clear to them. their spiritual environment was strong since they even saw miracles and believed. we can regain this spiritual environment by preaching faith to the only way to receive salvation. this faith comes by hearing true gospel of his death and resurrection.

To be in Christ means we are one, all that He has are mine and I am His fully. imply that my live is no longer mine, i belong to Him.

peter had a vision to minister to gentiles.he knew very well that there are no differences between jews and gentiles. He withdrew for fear of being excommunicated from Jerusalem church.

Poul distance himself from leaders at Jerusalem church they seem to advocate for salvation through works like circumcision this is faulty doctrine. only after poul intervening they accepted to remove condition of circumcision. his writing to them is 1.recognition that there calling is legitimate from God.2.this is to approve that they are all apostles for different fields.3.to show oneness and one family of God.

What is the danger of taking the teaching of contemporary leaders as our doctrinal basis without checking it with the Scripture? his gospel is revelation from Jesus Christ not from men in Jerusalem. It is true because its one with the word of God and poul was not taught by any man.it conforms with the word of God because poul is not seeking to please any body but God. taking doctrines from preachers without checking it from the bible is dangerous, this can prevent our spiritual growth.

This is dangerous because it is not the true gospel of salvation by grace through faith, new believers are not yet equipped to discern when presented false gospel. it is easy for them to draw back to works to attain righteousness and feel condemned when they fail. It is also dangerous since they can spread this faulty not even gospel to others. This affect Christians to day in a way that they try to keep laws to please God, they end up condemned and fearful.

1.Jesus gave himself to redeem us from this sinful dying age .there is no other way of salvatition except by the cross of Jesus. 2.Today people are rescued hearing preaching of his gospel, gospel of salvation by grace through faith. 3.believers of Jesus are indwelt by Holy spirit, he take control of our lives and so well protected.
